SCENIC DESIGN- project<Peer Gynt>

Concept:

This is an immersive theatre and I set the scene at a corner of Peer Gynt's house. My motivation is to create a version angle from children, which is quite different from adults. In the world full of imagination, every set is taken by the house stuff, ex: towel, bowl, eggs box etc, which built up the world of Peer Gynt's adventure. Those stuff are so large comparing with the audiences. I wish that people in this immersive theater can enjoy it with kids mind and throw away discipline and serious thought. SCENIC DESIGN- project<Hoffman- Giulietta>

Concept:

It was a story of the characters' desires.

Hoffman's desire for love, Giulietta's lust for money, the devil's plot to capture the shadow, and the other guests' desire for a glance from Giulietta. The balance between supply and demand would lose control if any character were absent in the story.

Therefore, I set the location in the red light district which was situated in Venice, a place where desires are gathered, as long as the song be heard from the gondola, the world of lights and wine began to work……

SCENIC DESIGN- project<ELEKTRA>

Concept:

Agamemnon, a king of Mycenae, often went on an expedition. He always brought the photos which he took in different countries back, and share the scenery with his daughter, ELEKTRA, inside the dark room. The space was extremely small and low but filled with the sweetest memories of a father and a daughter. However, it became a storage room after Agamemnon had passed away. It turned out to be a space that maids avoided entering, but Elektra regarded it as the most important place. Darkness acted as camouflage and light acted as an intruder, Elektra stayed in the dark room waiting for an opportunity to take revenge on her mother for cheating and bloodless.
