can i have a recap of the stuff so far :D ?

Hello Everyone! Ik I've been on and off this blog over the years, but I can't say enough how much this account meant to me, to this day! ;;w;; I really and truly miss it! I'm just gonna do a recap for those who are interested in knowing what happened so far.

Now to actually answer the question that was asked maaaaaaaany moons ago, a recap!! I'll start from the beginning and I'll try to be detailed enough to get a good idea of what has happened thus far!

Zim and Dib have started a truce before the blog was created so Dib asked Zim to make documents finalizing their truce, and Zim, being the genius that he is, made a diary documenting the truce AS IT HAPPENS instead!

This decision leads to a fight over who even started the truce in the first place, and after many silly lies, it is revealed that Zim started the truce in an attempt to find out why Dib decided to stop his life long pursuit of capturing and dissecting him, which Dib reluctantly admitted to having horrendous nightmares about actually following through with it and it destroyed his desire to continue down that path. (Something Dib has still yet to get into deep detail about.)

Next we have the Halloween Event, where Gaz convinces Dib to invite Zim to the Halloween Event they go to so she can go with her friends. Dib eventually comes to terms with Zim's paranoid behavior on Halloween being too concerning to leave him alone and is essentially tricked into being the Irken's personal bodyguard duringthe event!

Zim makes them Knight and Hornet costumes that Dib was rather impressed by and they drive off to the Event after picking up Gaz and her friend, Shelli. On the way to the Event, Dib goes onto his rather troubling past with medications that he has now over come, with Zims help or his interference rather. They finally go through the mazes as best as they can, considering Zim's unhinged behavior towards the holiday, they do get separated at one point but they eventually find each other thanks to the Anons and Zim begins to trust Dib just a little more! (although he'd never ever admit that, oddly enough, he does admit to enjoying the act of holding Dib's hand so there's that!)

After another failed attempt to go through a 'haunted' attraction, Zim gets word (or squeek) from Mini Moose that GIR has brought in 'guests', one of which threatens to blow up his base if he doesn't show up soon. Turns out, a human space cadet and his Irken 'Guardian' has crash landed and said Irken is in need of immediate medical attention! The intruders names are Noah and Don and Noah seems to be keeping a lot of information to himself despite making a deal to answer questions in exchange for access to Zim equipment. Just like Zim and Dib, Noah and Don have a strange dependency on one another and Zim suspects they may even be from another Timeline entirely but, there's only one way to find out, and that's by asking them directly.

Hello Everyone, or whoever is left of the IZ/Zadr community! How have yall been??? Doing Good I hope!

It's been years since I last posted on this blog and wow, what a time. Life can really pull you away from your passions can't it? QwQ

If you don't mind a lil rant of sorts, I'd like to start off by saying that I v much still have a strong connection towards this blog to this very day! It's been my most precious project, I enjoy the characterizations and the story so much, I can confidently say I've never accomplished anything quite this impressive, considering it's fan-made~

That being said, there was one glaring obstacle in my way in terms of continuing the blog, and the horrible irony of it being; the art, which is what inspired the blog in the first place.

And it is still the primary reason I struggle to continue, that and I mean, isk how active the community is these days and that's a v important factor for askbloging, interaction!

In all honesty, I want to continue this account, I have for a while! However, I have very little time/energy to draw, but ik I will want to (here and there) if I were to reboot the blog. I have made attempts to make this an RP askblog with some art, and I believe that could still work, although not as exciting, it still allows me to continue being silly with the boys and you guys~

This is something I sincerely miss, IZ will forever be my favorite cartoon until the day I die, and ZaDR/ZaFR is just so special to me compared to other ships I've pursued!

After a good week of like deliberation, I might reboot the blog as an RP askblog and draw when I feel inspired to. They will be sketches at best, and they may be sketches of replies that I particularly wanna see drawn, or I might actually draw a reply as I see fit~

The reboot would also depend on how much interest this post receives as well, it's difficult putting effort into something with v little interest in return but since it's been YEARS, I will wait it out for a bit and decide if it's doable~♡

Again, I personally would love to reboot this blog and I would love to know if anyone else would like to see it run again~ I hope you all are having a good day and I'll update my decision in due time my friends💕

I really enjoyed drawing them! I just get soooo critical that it stopped being fun! I realized the only person who doesn’t like my art is me 😭💦

I’ve been struggling with that for a long time & sometimes it gets so bad, I stop drawing all together! I’m still trying to break it so I’m trying different things! It’s a pattern for me to go from anime to cartoon to anime and back to a cartoon style so I’m not too surprised to be back here hehe Although I’m nit into IZ atm, I’ll see what happens this weekend~

Honestly!🥺🤍 ME TOO!!

Hello Friends~!! I can’t believe it’s been like 2 years??! Wow 😳 I just went over this blog (start to finish my dudes) and maaaaaaaan do I miss it dearly!😭 I’m doing well by the way! Well, I’ve been having a long ass art block since the summer and it suuuuuucks!!! I’ve been really depressed about it...😔 Maybe coming back here was a way to find new inspiration and see if I can get back into drawing cartoons again?? Idk yet, this artblock is something nasty and I’m struggling to get out of it big time!

It’d be amazing to reboot this blog tho, I kind of have doubts but I might try still. I was so stumped when figuring out the story for this event but maybe, I can tackle it again with a refreshed mind! Despite my art block that is lol Thank you for the asks while I was away! (;w;💕

It seems like the IZ fandom is still p active? I’m not like 100% back into IZ, like at all ahah but I wanna try and revive this bc I really liked the idea/story! I always like Zim and Dib, don’t get me wrong~ And I still have a soft spot for my Noah and Don OCs~!!🥺 And Ofc I miss you all! So imma try! (No promises unfortunately...) if there’s enough response, I may be more motivated hehe

NEW EVENT!

EVENT 3: LUCKY STARS AU

There’s something very mysterious about Noah and Don, two Space Cadets who have crash-landed but they are in need of Zim and Dib’s help! Things have been a bit rocky but with a little understanding and even more bonding, the four must work together to finally get the two space cadets back where they belong; among the Stars!

Zim: We have quite a lot to discus.

It's very unlikely they are lying about their names. If your species can be different in an alternate dimension, why not your name, correct? The reason they didnt show up in the database is because they aren't from this dimension, and technically dont exist in your world's records. As for them entering, it's likely they crossed a trans-dimensional anomaly that linked to this dimension. Its possible that earth was closer to the portal on this side, and therefore crashed as they didnt expect that.

Zim: you’re right about the name...but why would the human be surprised to find out our names.

Dib: it’s possible he might knew us in his timeline. I couldn’t imagine us being uh very subtle in our existence, ever.

Zim: Hm that could be it...the fact that their names aren’t in our database further explains that they are not from our reality, along with other obvious factors that do not match up with ours.

Dib: Trans-dimensional anomaly sure sounds like a very likely cause given the circumstances as well. What that really leaves is why.

Zim: Do they know they’re on Earth, if they do, what use it is if it’s not the same Earth in their own timeline.

Dib: The possibles are endless almost, it’s making me hungry...

Zim: you ate 1 hour ago.

Dib: Oh that’s why-

Zim: that baby face of yours must be from all the face stuffing you do!

Dib: Oh whatever. I can wait. I think the forst thing we should do is ask them if they know anything about alternate realities, see what they know.

Zim: and if they try to lie about it, we’ll destroy them-

Dib: Zim.

Zim: What?

Dib: We will not destroy them. We will point out that their story doesn’t make sense and ask for the truth.

Zim: we demand the truth!

Dib: Yeah sure Zim. I have a feeling they’re not here to hurt anyone so stop being so hostile alright? It’ll make things run a little bit smoother too.

Zim: You’ve really gotten soft over the years human.

Dib:...maybe. But I’m a hell of a lot happier so I don’t mind.

Zim: You are happier this way?

Dib: I don’t think we’d be where we are today if I didn’t make some changes about myself Zim.

Zim: Fine, Dib, I’ll give you this one. I will trust your somewhat questionable faith about the intruders. But of anything goes wrong, you’ll never hear the end of it.

Dib: Nothing new for me, space boy.

Zim: HOWEVEEEER!! I wont hestitate to speak my amazingly amazing mind! That Noah-human isnt off the hook!

Dib: Just try to be a little more uh...sympathetic Zim. They almost died here.

Zim: Oh don’t worry, I already feel sorry for them. They’re lucky I don’t have them both kissing my perfect irken boot right now. And the attitude on that human- UNBELIEVABLE!!

Dib: *sigh* this is going to be a mess...

This may sound weird, but HOW blind are yellow eyed Irkens? Are they unable to see anything at all, or is everything just really blurry for them? Dib's glasses correct problems with his vision so it might be similar

Dib: Blind Irkens?? Zim what are they talking about.

Zim: I was speculating that Don may be a Yellow Irken, since you have yellow eyes. Yellow eyed Irkens are born completely blind, they cannot see anything so they are exterminated immediately.

Dib: ..that’s terrible...

Zim: Yes well, it is what it is. You are partially blind, you have those things on your face all the time, without them, you’re useless.

Dib: Geez, thanks Zim. Don could be blind then...He had googles on so maybe that’s why.

Zim: That fact that he exists if he does have yellow eyes is evidence in itself that they have to be from another dimension.

Dib: why doesn’t your version of Irk just give them googles rather than killing them right away.

Zim: The control brain wants perfect Irkens, anything below that is a waste. What good is a blink Irken anyways?

Dib: I don’t know, seems harsh, your race is very extreme, I’m really curious about what their dimension is like, it must be so different.

Zim: Yes, it must be. The Noah human gives off a strong Irken scent to me, you have given me a similar experience but his is much stronger.

Dib: By association with another Irken.

Zim: Mm, Irkens give off a scent afterall, humans do this very subtly in comparison. But when together a while, the Irken’s scent will overcome the humans.

Dib: Uh...has this already happened between us? Is that like a marking of territory thing?

Zim: Of course it’s happened to us! Especially all that terrible clinging!! It’s not a territory thing either, it’s just something that happens when an Irken is around another Irken, it means they are compatible which is a rare occurrence amongst us. An Irken has no qualms about killing another Irken, but if that Irken has a scent to them, we are less likely to kill them.

Dib: Oh? This scent protects them.

Zim: Yes, that is also why I have two Tallests, they are compatible, have always been so. I trained with them so I know.

Dib: You know your leaders that personally?

Zim: Yup! We’re good pals! Anyways, the human is drenched in Irken aroma, that might explain the guardian thing a little more I think. They have a very close relationship.

Dib: How close do you think?

Zim: Closer than ours.

Dib:....how close are we now anyways, I’m unsure to be honest.

Zim:....Ehh...I’m not all that great at deciphering the exact degree by the scent but I’d say we’re allies now.

Dib: Heh, yeah, that sounds about right.

Zim: of course it is right, I am always right!

Dib: Except when you’re wrong.

Zim: Never! I don’t know how to be wrong Dib-beast!

Dib: Hahah well you are definitely right about that.
