transmisogyny is so blatant. every other week people are smearing trans women as some kind of Sex Criminal for identical analysis of rape culture that I post all the time.

the idea of rape as structural—that it is a tool of gendering/classing violence that is normalized and is often directly economically and socially incentivized, and is not the product of “out of control” perverts overcome with “deviant sexual desire” and in fact often is an act done without presence of attraction or sexual gratification at all.

I post it and people go “wow I never thought about it like this, thank you”
