I would give everything to see Quaritch connect to a spirit tree. To link his kuru out of pure curiosity, or urged on by a Na'vi, positive that it's all spiritual bullshit, just be hit with a tidal wave of feeling. The crashing, crushing force of the voices of Na'vi long dead, dead by his hand. Songs of joy and sorrow and victory. The snide remarks of Grace flitting through the cacophony. The physical sensations of the final moments of those who fell in the battle against the RDA. The pure feeling of being connected to everything that is and was and Eywa.

And I want to see his crisis. I want to see him struggle and deny and rebel against the fact that all the hippie bullshit Sully and Dr. Augustine spouted about the whole planet being connected by a global consciousness is true. And I want that to make him question himself. I want him to grapple with the fact that the blood running through him is part of Pandora. HE is part of Pandora.
