I finally opened up an Etsy to sell my art on! Ive been doing so many portraits for people, its actually super exciting! I love adding in extra stuff with the artwork as well as a thank you, its so fun and its really helping me pull myself out of this funk that this year has put me into. <3 Ive also got handmade jewelry posted and im painting a jewelry box to post as well!

Burning Bridges Spell

this is a personal “hex-breaker” spell; use by others welcomed :)

What you need…

string (red or black)

a candle (white or black)

a small (fire-safe) bowl

black salts

angelica root

a drop of blood (your own) - optional

yourself

your deity/ies or guides/companions - optional

All you gotta do is…

Gather your small bowl, your candle, and your length of string. 

Prick a finger with a sanitised needle, and let the blood drawn be absorbed by the string. (This step is optional, and only a drop or two is needed.)

Light your candle, and take your length of string in your hands. Stretch it far on either end (without breaking it) and imagine that this string is the tie between your past self, and who you are now. 

Say: 

“I am not my past, and my past is not welcomed here.

Should I be reaping a negative for a mistake - be it known or unknown - let its ties to me be broken.

Should I be suffering at the will of another - be it known or unknown - I command their power over me be broken.

I will watch bad bridges burn, and be free of their wrath.”

Invoke your deity/ies or guides/companions, at this time, and ask them to work in your favour. (i.e. “I command, in the name of Na Morrigna, that it be so.”)

Hover your string over the candle flame, now, and wait for it to break. Once it has been severed by the fire, drop the two halves of string into your fire-safe bowl.

Cover the burned string with black salts and angelica root, and set it upon your altar. Let it rest there, until you feel so inclined to burn your mixture to ash.

Let the ash loose upon the wind, and know that you are not your past mistakes.

** ALWAYS be careful, when burning. Do research. Know your allergies, and effects.
