Evaluation
In my evaluation I am going to be talking about my final piece and how I got inspired to do this 3D sculpture. My final Piece is of 3D boxes stacked up on each other. I got this idea from Lisa Kokin because I really like how she does 3D squares and how she used different portraits. So I started to research about how I wanted to composition my work. I got the Idea to do this 3D sculpture with squares because of the workshop I did, we did a lesson on 3D nets and I really enjoyed doing them so I decided to do this for my final sculpture. Then I decided to do more research on Lisa kokin because I wanted to see her different composition work. Then the materials I used to do my mater piece, for my practice one I printed my images onto A4 and used printing ink, then used scissors to cut out the squares and then used glue stick to stick the sides down. But then for my final piece I printed the image out om A3 paper, Then I cut it out using scissors and to stick them down I used double sided tape so It stick down better and stayed. Then I also used double sided tape to stick them down on each other so it stayed. My techniques I used to edit this image was I got a template of a 3D square and then opened it up into Photoshop, Then opened the portrait I wanted to do then I adjusted the image size of the image to 5 to it’s the right size to fit my template. Then I started to do is adjust the opacity of the image so I can see the template. After that I used the polygonal lasso tool to go round the 3D square to cut out the image. After I did that I copied that layer and then deleted the first layer and then pasted over the square. This is how I edited the 3D boxes.
The photographs related to my final sculpture because the artists I am looking at Lisa kokin, she did portrait photography of different people and this made me want to do this for my final piece. So I decided to do different portraits of different people to show different features to link with the whole theme of my 3D sculptures. I also wanted to show the different emotion in the image to get a different perspective of the image. I was also looking at how Lisa put her composition of her photography work. Also looking at the meaning of the image, because when I was taking my images in the studio I was focusing on the lighting I had so I was adjusting the snoot light and box light also looking at my camera settings so the portraits had the right exposure of the image. When I was making the boxes I think the best materials was printing off in A3 because it makes the image more perspective of the image when I build the box. Also using the double sided tape to stick down the box, because it stayed down better and was steadier when putting the box’s together.
The location I choose to take these images was in the studio with the plane background. Because I wanted to show the main focus is the sculpture and I didn’t want the background to catch the eye and loose the interested of the main part of the sculpture. Because the images was focusing on the different features of the person in the portrait. So that’s why decided to my final image in the studio to get the right effect. Also the photographer I looked at she took the image of her 3D sculpture in front of a white background, because she wanted to show her images and how it shows a different perspective in every 3D square. So I got the idea for my final image is to take it in the studio so it takes more focus in the sculpture in the whole image.
I feel like this assignment went really well, I think it was very interesting to get the images and start making them into the sculpture. But I did find it difficult to get the sculpture Ideas. Also when I did decided to do the 3D boxes for my final piece, I did find it difficult to get the boxes together and try to link it with my artists. But I am very pleased with my outcome on my 3D sculpture because I got my own point a view in the composition and got the idea from my artists and tried to get a similar composition of the image. But I wanted to show a different composition and I liked how I focused the image more on the eyes on the boxes.
If I had more time when doing the project I would of done more of the boxes and stick them done in many different ways to get a better perspective of the image. Also I would have got card made the 3D nets and stick the images onto the 3D nets so it makes it sturdier and then they would come off each other. I also would have done different sections so as this one I did happiness, I could have done all different emotions so sadness, laziness, angry to show all the different emotion. This is what I would of done differently if I had more time. To get a different perspective to the whole final piece to show the different emotions and what story i wanted to show. I would of done more photo shoots to get more emotion photographs and i would of done around 5 different sculptures.

Final image

This is my final piece, I decided when putting the sculpture together to composition my work more like a college to get my own perspective. Because I got the idea from my artists Lisa kokin, She does 3D nets of squares and started to stick the nets together all different sizes. Her work also inspired me because i really liked how she used portraits of different people and show there different facial features and emotions in the image, i also like how she used different size squares and stacked them on top of each other. This is where i got m,y idea to do squares and also the workshop we did for 3D nets, i was really inspired and really liked the aspect of the 3D nets so i decided to do this for my final sculpture. Also looking at Lisa kokin work and how she composition her 3D nets and i wanted to put my own perspective to the whole sculpture but i was inspired by her to do different sizes of squares and stack them onto each other. Also doing portraits to do for my final sculpture.
So when i was thinking about my work and how i wanted to composition my work. So i decided to do my work like a college but stacking all the boxes on each other and getting my own composition of my portraits. i was focusing on the eyes to be the main part because they show the most emotion and effect when looking at the boxes. Because I think that the eyes show the most emotion in the image and i wanted to show the happiness in the person eyes and get there eyes to tell the story behind the sculpture. I was trying to get a different perspective of the image to show a story behind the image. when i did these boxes and Printed them on A3 paper to get a different size of the boxes. To show a different perspective to the whole of my final piece. So this is why i decided to get the layout like this to show what i wanted to show when i was making these image. I wanted to show the happiness emotion in every box i put in my sculpture.
I am very pleased with my final piece because I am really happy with the composition of how my boxes are in the image and i really like how it is standing on top of each box but some are not straight and this gives a different feeling to the whole image. I wanted to show a college perspective to it this is what i wanted to put my own composition to the image.

Photo Sculpture - Planning
Imagine you have to design and build a children’s nursery.
What rooms do you need included? Where should they be? What should they be near? What should they be made of? How should they be laid-out?
What else do you need to think about? Think externally and internally, what materials should be used? Why?
The rooms I am going to include in the nursery is an outdoor play area, indoor play area, toilets, Kitchen, a coat room, an area where they can have quite time. these should be maid out of soft materials so then there is a less risk for the to hurt them selves. The places should be near each other is the indoor and outdoor play area so it is easy to get to because if a little kid hurts themselves the teachers can get to them right away and they can keep an eye on them.
Imagine you have to design and build a memorial to WW1
Where would be an appropriate place to place it? Why?
Where would be inappropriate and why?
What materials should be used? Why? Think about the environmental factors of the location.
What should it look like?
The most appropriate place I think for a WW1 memorial to be build is in very quite park because I think people will respect the memorial because this is the place where people go for a quite walk. it would be inappropriate to put it in a filed where people can't respect the WW1 memorial. Because none will go to a filed to look at a memorial WW1. To build the memorial I would use concrete to it last over many years and doesn't brake. I think this makes it look more respected and none can brake the memorial. It will also last through all the weathers over the years. Also it should of the name and when the person passed away, it also should have setting areas so people can sit around and show there love and respect.

Final Proposal
What are your photographs going to be of? And why?
· Describe the photographs you are going to base the photo sculpture on
My photographs are going to be of portraits focusing on different emotion in their facial features. To take my images i went in the studio to get the image, so the photographs are the main focus of the person that showing all the different facial expressions. So I took different images of people and did different compositions so every photograph looks the same.
Explain your current ideas for a final piece? (include drawings or pictures if relevant)
· Location – What location have you chosen for your sculpture to be installed.
· Explain what materials you are going to use, any methods you are going to use to create it, is it wall mounted or floor standing, and the scale of the final piece
· Explain how your idea for your final Photo Sculpture deals with the problem of using 3D in a Photography context
In my location for my final piece I am going to do my location in the studio, Because my images of different motion and facial feature. I didn't want the location to be the main focus of the whole image for my final piece. So this is why i choose to do it with a plane background to get the main focus of the motion in the sculpture. The materials i will be using to do this, is printing the images out on A3 and A4 to get a different perspective of the image. Then i am going to build the 3D nets with double sided tape. I am also putting my sculpture on the floor standing to get the full view of my 3D sculpture i am doing. I am also doing three different rows to get a perspective of each image and different motion. My idea for my final sculpture deals with problems of using 3D, Because of building up the sculpture because the images should look clear and sharp and have the right composition of the images in the 3D nets. Also having the right layout of the image to get the right perspective of what i want for my final image of the sculpture.
Who or what have you been inspired by?
· Identify which artists, processes, techniques you will or have researched that are relevant to your photo sculpture.
The artists i am looking at to get inspired by to do this sculpture is called Lisa kokin, she does 3D nets of squares all stacked up with different portraits of showing different motion in every image. she did squared different sizes so she did big to small to get a different perspective. So i decided to put my own idea to the image, i decided to do squared and rectangles stacked up on each other three times to get my own composition to my final sculpture. I found Lisa kokin by researching 3D sculpture photographers, I was looking at all different sculpture photographers and Lisa kokin photography stood out the most to me when i was looking at many different artists. Because i really like the meaning in her images and the model shows you a story between the whole image. So this is why decided to Lisa for my artists for the main sculpture.

ideas for my final piece

My final ideas for my final sculpture, I decided to do 3D net box because the artists am looking at is called Lisa kokin, Because he worked really cached my eye and I wanted to re create her 3D sculpture but put my ideas to it. So my first idea was doing some boxes and stacking the up on top of each other, Also putting different portraits to get a different perspective each 3D box. To do this I went and got a template of a square and opened It into photoshop, then opened the portrait I wanted to put on the box, Then I adjusted the image size to 5 so its the right size to fit on the box. Then I selected the whole image, copied and pasted it on to the template and then selected the polygonal lasso tool and went around the box. Then deleted that layer and pasted the layer over the box, Then printed out the boxes and made up the boxes. Then I took an image of the box, with this composition because I really liked how the boxes looks in this layout. I am very please with the outcome my idea for my final piece.

Photoshoot 4
These are my contact sheets for my 4th photoshoot

Main Images
This is my fourth Photo Shoot I choose to do this because my main focus is portraits. So before this I started to set my camera to ISO 100, Aperture 1/125 to the right lighting and exposure on the image. So I was also focusing on the composition of the image. I took these images at home with a simple background because i want the main focus to be on the model when looking at the image.
In the first image I was looking at different portrait to get inspired by, so I firstly started to do a portrait with some contrast of the images, so i said to my model to cover half of her face to get a contrast shadow on her face. I really like the contrast through the image. I feel like it shows a story behind it, i also think it shows her motion between the image. After taking the image i went onto Photo Shop and started to edit the first image. Firstly I opened the image on raw, i started with the composition of the image, so i cropped the image to get the right layout on the image. Then adjusted the brightness to get the right exposure on the image, so I adjusted the brightness to 6, Then i started to look at the contrast to make the shadows more bold. So i put the contrast on the image to 5. I think this image came out very successful.
In the second image i was looking at a side view of my model, To get a different perspective in the image. So i adjusted my camera settings to get the right perspective and lighting of the image. Then i adjusted my composition and where i wanted my model to stand. After i did this i took the image of my model, i really like the outcome of the image and the composition of the image. Then i went onto Photoshop and started to edit the image to get the right exposure on the image. So i started to adjust the contrast of the image. I also adjusted the brightness of the image,i changed the contrast to 5 and the brightness to 4 to get the right lighting of the image so its the right exposure.
in the third image I was trying to show a different composition in the whole image. To show a different perspective to the whole image and when I was taking the photographs because I wanted to show a story behind the image. when I was taking these image I adjusted the camera settings, I put my ISO on 100, Aperture 4.5 to get the right exposure on the image, because I wanted the right contrast through out the photographs. Then I opened the image on photoshop to start editing the image. I firstly started to changed the composition of the image by slightly cropping the image to get the right layout I wanted for this image. Then I adjusted the contrast and brightness, I put the contrast to 5 and the brightness to 6 to get the right lighting in the whole image.

Photoshoot 3
This is my contact sheet of my photoshoot 3

Main Images
In my third photoshoot I choose three different main photographs. In this photoshoot I was focusing on portraits of my friend, doing different poses and showing different features of my friend while taking the images. To take these images I took them in the studio with a soft box light and snoot light, to get the perfect lighting. I also set my camera to ISO 100 and aperture f/7.5 to get the right exposure. I was also looking at the composition of the image so it links with my 3D final images I want to use for my sculpture.
In the first image I was trying to capture the personality of the image. I really like how she is smiling and not looking at the camera. Because I think that shows a different perspective of the image. Before taking these images I sorted out my camera settings, I put my camera on ISO 100 and aperture f/5.6 to get the right exposure In the image. I also went into photoshop and opened the image, I first cropped the image so it had the right composition of the image. Then I adjusted the brightness and contrast. I put my brightness to 6 and the contrast to 4 to get there right exposure on the image. I think this image came out very successful.
in the second image I choose to make my final image I really liked the how she is looking at the camera. Because it shows that she interested in looking at what is happening in the image. before taking the image I set my camera settings so my images don't come out under exposed or over exposed. So I put my camera to ISO 100 and aperture f/8.5 to get the right lighting of the image. Then I went onto photoshop and adjusted the image so I firstly changed the contrast of the image to 6 to give it the right contrast through out the image. Then I adjusted the brightness of the image to 4 so it just the right lightness of the image.
in the third image I stated to look at the image I really like the composition of the image and what the image shows as a story. I also looked at my camera settings to make the image the right exposure. So put the ISO to 100 to get the right exposure. Then I adjusted the aperture f/7.5 to make the image more brighter. Then I went onto photoshop and opened the image and started to adjusted the brightness and contrast, I put the contrast to 4 an the brightness 7 to make the whole image the right exposure to the image.

Photoshoot 2
This is my contact sheet of my photoshoot two

Main Images
These are my main images I choose out for my second photoshoot. In this photoshoot I was focusing on portraits and getting different perspective of the images. To link with my 3D sculpture final piece. So to take these images I went into the studio and set up my camera on the tripod. Then I put a soft box light and snoot light on to get the right lighting. Then I adjusted the settings on my camera so it not too dark or too light. I was also focusing on the composition of the images I was taken, so it links with the artists I am focusing on when taking these images.
In the first image I was thinking about what poses I wanted to do and what composition. So I decided to do a front view portrait, then I decided to tell my friends to do a pose with her hair, Because this shows her personality and her really curly hair. When I took these images I set my camera settings to, ISO 100, aperture f/8.0 and this gives a sharp effect to the image. Then I went onto photoshop and edited the image, I cropped the image to get the right layout on the image. Then I adjusted the brightness and contrast of the image. I change the brightness to 6 and the contrast to. I only did a little editing because I wanted the image to be simple as possible to make the main focus model.
Then in my second image I was thinking about what composition of the image and what I should do next. So I decided to a side view with her jacket on, to get different look to the first image. I think this shows what her style is like. I also liked how her head is facing forward but then her body is at a side view. This gives a different perspective to the image. my camera settings where at ISO 100, Aperture f/7.5 to give a sharp image when in the studio taking portraits. Because you need to get your camera setting right because you don't want your image to be over or under exposed.
In my third image I was looking at the composition of my camera before taking the image. I was thinking about the image with the front view of the image. To focus on the perspective of the whole image. To get the image I set my camera to ISO 100, Aperture f/9.0 to get the sharp of the image. This makes it very sharp and makes the effect of the image more eye catching. I think this photoshoot was very successful.

Portraits of Portraits of Portraits

This is my first attempt of doing the 3D portraits, so first we did this on Photoshop, So we went into the studio and took many different image, to do a different pose to get different facial features to put over one main image. I put the camera settings on aperture f.8.0, shutter speed 1/125 and then ISO 100.Then I went onto Photoshop and edited this image. I first opened my main image and then opened my other images on an other layer and cropped the images to the facial features i wanted, Then i places the facial features in the areas i wanted to put the image. This was the first image i think this shows our understanding on what we are going to d, to make it more realistic and 3D.

Then this is my second attempt we got the images and printed the images and then stuck it down on card to make it more stable when sticking it together. So what we did was cut out all the images and then placed the images onto my face. This was my second attempt on doing this 3D portraits. This made it look more 3D.

Then we decided to get the facial features and stick them onto my face, to give it a more realistic feature to the image. To do this is stuck the pictures onto my face with double sided tape. Then went into the studio and set up the lights, i used a soft box light and snoot light to get the right lighting for the image. My camera settings where on ISO 100, Aperture 1/125 and Aperture f/8.0 to get the right contrast. We got a side view and front view to show more of a 3D effect to the image. Then i went onto Photoshop and put the image onto black and white because the artists i was inspired to do this put the image into black and white. I also adjusted the brightness an contrast to get the right lighting in the whole image. I put my brightness onto 5 and my contrast on 6. I think this image came out very successful, because it shows more of a 3D and shows it more of a realistic of the image.
This is the artists I was inspired by he is called Bruno Del Zou. I wanted to do his work because i found it very interesting and his work shows a different point a view. Brno Del Zou is a talented 53-year-old artist, photographer, filmmaker and software developer, France. Brno graduated at the School of Fine Arts. In his photo sculptures, Brno Del Zou uses photo manipulation and photographic structure to create a cubism effect. The body and the faces are revisited and their volumes are highlighted in order to create installations of multiple scales.

Joiner Sculpture

in this task we had to do multiple photographs in a circle to give it A 360 effect, so all the images are joined together and makes it look like one big photographs, but it is many multiple pictures. So after I took the images I put them onto my computer and printed them out, Then cut the images out and stuck them together with double sided tape. This is how I made the photographs
To take the images I went to a church in Nottingham because I thought it would look very interesting because then you can see a 360 view of the buildings that where around me. To take these images I set my camera on sports mode so it took multiple picture one after the other to get the 360 effect I wanted to show. I am very pleased with my images and the whole outcome. Because it looks like a 360.

This was my first attempt on doing the 360 images, it didn't Come out very successful because I had three images that looked the same so it doesn't give the 360 effect that I needed, because I didn't take as many images to show the whole effect. Also before this photoshoot I went out before on a cloudy day and took the same images, but when I looked back at the images they weren't that clear and it didn't really like the out come of the images. so I decided to go back out and do another photoshoot. So I went back to the same place to get the 360 images as you can see in the image above but it didn't turn out just right. So I decided to go out for the third time to a different place and I looked at my camera settings to get the clear images, so i was very pleased with the whole outcome of my images.

3D shapes

These are my step by step on how I made my 3D shapes.

These are my final 3D shapes that I made from my portrait images. To start of making this I went onto photoshop and opened a template onto photoshop and then opened an image I wanted so I choose two portraits that I took. Then I adjusted the width of the image to 3, then pressed on ctrl t and adjusted the size of the image pressing down on shift so it doesn't stretch out the image. Then I selected the all the image copied the image. Then I pasted the image onto the template and adjusted the size by using the shift and then adjusted the opacity of the image, Then went onto the polygonal lasso tool to select around the shape I have used. Then coped the image again, then deleted the layer and then pasted the image back onto the template and then the image is on the shape.
Then I printed the image onto A3 paper, Then cut the image out very carefully. Then stuck all the side down to make the shape. I think the two 3D shapes I did came out very successful and I also liked the images I choose to do. Because it links with the whole project because at the end I want to use portraits for my final sculpture. I also liked how both of the shapes are different sizes so it gives a different aspect to the whole final image. So after I was finished making the 3D shape I went and took a photograph of my two 3D shapes in the studio.

Paper Vision

This is the image I was inspired by, This images is by Manuel will.

These are step by step on the process of making the tree.

This photo vision is inspired by Manuel will photograph of a tree. My research was very helpful because it helped me understand what the photographer was inspired in to take the image. So i got an idea to make the tree out of card and cut out different lines to get the look of branches on the trees, to make the 3D model more realist. To make this image I got a two pieces of card. I got a black piece to make it stand out more and then a green piece of card to get the braces of the tree. To do this we cut out different lines to give it texture.
The problems we had was trying to figure how to get the texture of the tree, but then trying not to make it complicated because we wanted it have texture like the tree has in the photography. so we started to think about many different ideas we could do to get the texture of the tree, to make its look more realistic. So then we overcome the problem and figured out what we was going to do to get the different texture of the tree, we decided to cut a triangle onto green card and then cut many different lines and added texture put pushing the card up in many different directions to get the look of 3D and textured.
we worked really well as a team, because we discussed many different ideas together, so then we can figure out the ideas we had to put the sculpture together. I feel like we communicated very well and we helped each other out to get the sculpture exactly how we visioned we was going to do.
I think the final image came out very successful because the composition of the image came out very well because it look like its in the same position as Manuel image. but to get the perfect composition and lighting to make it look more like the photograph. I went on to photoshop and cropped the image so it looked more like the image we was inspired by. I also changed the temperature of the image so the blue of the background standee out more like the photographs. I Also adjusted the brightness and contrast to get the right lighting in the image.
To improve this image we could of added the cloud that was in the image and also tied to make it even more 3D and get the different types of textures we could see in the image. we could of developed our techniques further by adding more textures so different materials to make the photo vision more realistic.

Photoshoot 1
These are my contact sheets for my first photoshoot

Main images
These are my main images I choose out of my first photoshoot. In this photoshoot I am focusing on looking at my artists that does 3D sculptures and looking at the Lisa Kokin, because when I was looking at her work I was really interested in how she composition her work. Because I wanted to focus on portrait photography to show your own personalties In one photograph. So what I was thinking when doing this photoshoot I was focusing on different composition when taking these images.
So I started to take images of my friend, in the first image I was thinking about what composition I should do, so I decide to a side view of her and to show her emotion and her appearance. When I was taking this image I set my camera to ISO 100, aperture f.9.0 to give it an sharp effect to the image. Then I went onto photoshop and edited this image, I changed the brightness and contrast, I set the brightness to -2 because the image was a tiny bit too bright and then the contrast to 5 to give t a sharp and bright image. I am very pleased with the outcome because of the composition of the image links with the artists I am looking at Lisa Kokin.
in my second image I was trying to show the different composition of the images, when I was taking these images I was thinking about the hair and trying to show a different exceptive to the image. I was also thinking about the facial features, I was trying to get a shocked look. So I was trying to show different exceptive to every image I used. This also links with my artists I am main focusing on to use for my 3D sculpture. Then I set my camera to ISO 100 and aperture f/8.5 to give it a sharp effect and shows detail. Then I went onto photoshop and adjusted the brightness and contrast, the brightness I put it to 4 and then contrast to 6 to give it more detail and sharpness to the image. I am also very pleased with the composition of the image and the outcome.
in my third image I was looking at a different composition of the image to show a different view and shows a different story behind the whole image, because of her facial expressions and the way she has her hair. I also really like how her hair is the main statement and her expression and I also really like the composition of the whole image. I also set my camera to iOS 100 and aperture f/9.0 to show to sharpness of the facial expressions and hair. I also went onto photoshop and adjusted the brightness and contrast, I changed the contrast to 3 and the brightness to 6 to show the detail of the image. I am very pleased with this image. because It shows emotion in the hair and this brings the eye to the hair and the main focus of the meaning of the image.
in my last image I tried to focus less off the hair and more of the facial features and give more of a story behind the whole image when you first look at it. So I decided to put her hair in a bun is its all out of her face and shows more of her facial features. But I still like how her curls are showing a tiny bit. When taking the image I set my camera to ISO 100 and aperture f/6.0 to give it a sharp effect of the image. Then I went onto photoshop and changed the brightness and contrast and I adjusted the brightness to 5 and the contrast to 3. To make the image sharp.

Artist Research
Szymon Roginski
This is the first photographer i will be looking at. Because i think its very interesting how it is laid out and it catches my eye when i first looked at. This artists is a polish photographer, in this sculpture the artists teamed up with Kasai Korzeniecka to create an unusual collection of photo sculptures for fashion designer Ania Kuczynsk’s 2009 spring/summer line. In these pieces it showcases the designers clothes by setting it in a natural landscape. Then the photographer Szymon Roginski re-imaged as three-dimensional sculptures. Then the artists printed the images out and transformed into variety of shapes and assembled back together to display the image to make a 3D sculpture. Then she re-photographed the sculpture for the final image .
Justin Khamara
Khamara's practice to date has sought to disrupt photography's smooth, two-dimensional surfaces by building sculptures and collages entirely out of photographs. A flat image, usually figurative, is transformed either by slicing directly into the photographic skin and pulling features into three dimensional form, or by taking multiple shots of a single subject which are then collaged. Often evoking biological processes of replication while also engaging with notions of self-representaiton in an era of instant, endlessly generative (re)productions technologies, her work is best understood as a deeply psychological response to contemporary notions of being (in the existentialist sense). Solo exhibitions include: Reconstructure (2013) & Now I am a radiant people (2011), Arc One Gallery; Erysichthon’s Ball, Centre for Contemporary Photography (2010); Group exhibitions include: Northern Lights, Bundoora Homestead Art Centre (2013); Contemporary Australia: Women, Gallery of Modern Art, Brisbane (2012); Double Vision, McClelland Gallery and Sculpture Park, Langwarrin (2011); Between 2006-2007, Khamara was a committee member at Westspace. Her writing has been published in Artlink Magazine as well as online journals including Melbourne's Un Magazine and New Zealand based Naturalselection. In 2008, she was the recipient of an Australia Council for the Arts New Work grant for emerging artists.

Lisa Kokin
I really interested in the sculpture because I really like the look of the images on top of each other and how the images look more old and vintage and this catches my eye and shows that these where taken in the olden times. Lisa Kokin’s used photographs as objects to create new ways of considering the photographic image and the results are layered, whimsical, artful, and unique. Her work has been exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions in the United States and abroad. A recipient of a California Arts Council Individual Artist’s Fellowship and a Eureka Fellowship from the Fleishhacker Foundation, Ms. Kokin’s work is in numerous public and private collections. She is represented by Seager Gray Gallery in Mill Valley, CA, Tayloe Piggott Gallery in Jackson, WY, Gail Severn Gallery in Sun Valley, ID and Craighead Green Gallery in Dallas, TX

introduction project 3 - photography sculptures
In this introduction i will be doing contextual research about this unit and what we will be doing. So in this project we will be looking at 3D sculptures. i will be researching different artists and how they make there photography 3D sculptures. i will be taking different photos linking with the sculpture i will be making. I think this project is very interesting. The photographs i will be looking at is Justin Khamara, Szymon Roginski and Lisa Kokin. These are the artists that i am interested in and what i think will link to the photographs i think of taking. I am thinking about doing fashion photography and portrait photography. so i did my first photo shoot of portraits to get an idea of what images i want to use. Then i started to practice on doing different 3D shapes so i know what i am doing when i do my final 3D shape. Then I started to figure out what I wanted to do for my final piece and how I am going to do my work to link with Lisa kokin. So I did praise doing the 3D nets and different composition to get my idea for my final piece. For my final piece i did boxes with a college aspect to it, also did my evaluation about my ideas and inspiration for this project and also doing my final proposal about my photo shoots and what am i going to do for my final sculpture.
