Zoey wasn't a pro with babies and never claimed to be, but when Aurora was a baby, she had the worst tantrums. Aurora made Zoey cry as she felt helpless more times than she would like to admit so helping this stranger was like something she had to do. As the male agreed, the brunette picked up the crying baby and cradled the baby in her arms. At first, she wouldn't stop crying and it even got worse as she didn't know Zoey but then Zoey put her palm against the baby's head, caressing it gently as she moved from side to side to calm her down. Slowly, the little girl was calming down and getting sleepy, Zoey could see her exhaustion. "Shh...It will be okay little girl," She said smiling softly at the baby as she remembered Aurora being that little.

───his blue eyes watched her for a moment before drifting back to Ari, who was still mumbling something to herself, holding another toy in both hands now. His best guess was either she wanted to nap, or she needed her pacifier, but the doctor had said she needed to get off it even if it was a bit of a rough process. he was out of ideas, so when the other woman approached and offered to help, he had no reason to turn her down. Ari stopped crying for a moment to look at the woman, leaning slightly forward as she did, and then she looked back at Aiden before getting back to her tantrum. “sure…” he gestured towards the infant, “go ahead…” he added after a beat. she wasn’t the easiest to deal with when she was in this mood, and he kinda didn’t know how she would react to a stranger near her.

Zoey felt so embarrassed, she didn't want to cause any harm, especially on her first week in a new town. "Uh, I don't think so?" She said as she looked down but then saw a burn on her hand, "Oh I guess I did burn myself, It'll be okay, what about you? Any burns?" She figured that she couldn't feel the burn yet, but she didn't really care either.

Racing to grab his coffee was never something Brad had enjoyed doing. He liked to enjoy his morning at a slower pace, easing into the day before all hell broke loose. But this morning the cards he was dealt didn't exactly go in his favor; or rather his dog's favor. After having to deal with a dog with an upset stomach, Brad was almost late to work. Just as he was about the open the door, he was greeted by a spillage like no other by a young and beautiful woman on the other end. "Ah fuck," he said under his breath, before looking around to make sure no one else was splashed. "Nah it's cool, you okay? No burns?" He asked, wiping away some of the extra beverage from his coat, and swatting it from his hands.

The male seemed like he was trying his best and yet, he was completely lost. She could see the desperate look in his eyes as he truly tried to calm the little girl. "Oh yes, I understand," She said as she approached carefully to the men and the baby in the stroller, "I think I have an idea, may I?" She asked kindly as she wouldn't just pick up a random child without real permission.

───for all the good qualities Ari had, in general, she sure could throw a tantrum over nothing. and despite the abundance of patience that he had, somehow, he still had a hard time figuring out what the fit was about when it happened —and most often it was the stupidest thing, literally, or his all-time favorite which was that she didn’t know why she was upset. he ran a hand over his face, as she threw the toy on the bench and started crying, again, mumbling something he couldn’t make sense of —just for his luck of his— when he noticed someone approaching. he looked at the woman, Ari now having crossed her arms and still mumbling. “thank you, but I don’t think that’s it,” he shook his head; he had tried already and she didn’t want to eat, she claimed. “my best guess is she wants the pacifier, but she is supposed to be getting off it…” he added after a moment as he tried to soothe the crying infant once more.

The other woman seemed like she could use some company; frankly, Zoey needed to find friends in this new town. As the other brunette gave her the okay, the cheeky brunette sat down in front of her maybe new friend. "Zoey Hansley and the pleasure is all mine!" She said as she shook Imogen's hand. So do tell me about yourself! I want to know everything." She giggled as she put one of her palms under her chin.

Imogen was sat in front of a shitty glass of wine … actually it was her second glass of shitty wine but the point still stood, she likely cut a pretty pathetic figure. Running her finger around the base in a rhythmic fashion she was lost in her own thoughts until she noticed someone stopping near her table. Looking up with surprise, but after a couple of seconds giving a shrug of her shoulders, a small smile. “Sure - why not. Please feel free to take a seat.” Gesturing opposite her before holding out her hand politely. “Imogen Rhitt, pleasure.” English accent ringing loud and clear. @zoeyhansley

The only person Zoey knew in town was Wes Kennedy, an old friend and a very idiotic one for sure, "Missed me??" She asked as she entered Wes's apartment. The two were always close friends even while she was married and she adored him even if he was a total playboy, "I am so happy to see you, friend!" She said winking.

Zoey was new in town, which meant she knew nothing about finding her way around town. While New York was a huge place and she always found herself there, she felt like here she was getting lost every two seconds and that's how she found herself in the garden drinking a huge beer glass. As she was looking around at all the people sitting in groups, having the time of their lives she noticed someone who looked decent enough and alone just like herself, "Fancy some company?" She asked looking at the beautiful woman.

Zoey was sitting on a bench before the huge playground while Aurora was already making friends and playing with them. Zoey was settling in a new town, much different from New York or Los Angeles. It wasn't an easy decision to get up and start over again while being a single mom but she did it, she was here. As she was looking around, she suddenly heard a baby crying loudly. She kept looking and saw a man probably trying to calm his child but with no luck. Seemed like a new dad or an uncle for sure. She decided to be helpful and approached the male, "I think she's hungry, maybe try feeding her? Usually, that's why they cry," She said offering a kind smile.

Zoey was in a literal morning rush, she woke up late, dropped Aurora at school, and decided to get a cup of hot coffee before heading to a meeting with a new potential client. Zoey was already standing with a coffee cup in her hand when she got a call from the client who said he wasn't going to make it to the meeting and would like to reschedule the brunette let out a sigh as she was in such a rush when suddenly, she dropped her cup of coffee while bumping into someone on her way out. "Shit," She let out as she felt a sudden embarrassed feeling rushing through her body as she looked up to find a very handsome man standing completely soaked, "I am so sorry!"
