Formula 1
Firstly, what is Formula 1? It is the pinnacle of speed, skill and glamour. Contested by the most skilled drivers and world’s top manufactures creating the most technologically advanced cars in history. Formula 1 travels to the world’s greatest circuits from around the world, cars traveling at top speed of 370km/h, Formula 1 is about pushing the limits of speed, science and nerves.

If you’re not familiar with F1, it might seem like an individual sport, but it is actually a team sport. The whole system consists of 10 teams with 2 drivers each, that competes in every race or the so called “Grand Prix” that is held in different circuits per weekend. In every Friday and Saturday, a qualifying session is held or the process through which drivers compete to set the fastest lap time around a circuit during a specific time period, to ensure their position at the time of the race day.
Formula 1 is not just about the speed, it’s about teamwork and strategies. Since its birth in 1950, It has always been the pinnacle of Motorsport, having to develop the most hybrid engine. Not only being an expensive sport, but also one of the hardest.
How do you score points in F1? in every race held, a Grand Prix win is worth 25pts that is compiled after the end of each season. As of now, the driver with the most points for acquiring wins in every race is Max Verstappen that is under “Red Bull Racing Honda RBPT”, with a total of 400pts for this season.
