Ya know that story about how a guy made rubber surgical gloves for a woman who later became his wife because her hands were getting badly damaged from having to constantly wash them/being exposed to the chemicals in an operating theater? Or about the Band-Aids a guy made because his wife was clumsy in the kitchen and didn't have anything easy to cover her wounds with? Or that story about a woman making a shirt with magnetic 'buttons' to help her husband who had been diagnosed with Parkinson's?

Anyways all in all, some amazing scientific inventions were done for love of another person.

So what do you think Robotnik would make for Stone? Maybe not something he would market to others cause he's not a fan of sharing his ideas, but something he'd make for Stone that maybe isn't along the standard lines of his work?

I like to think Robotnik designed and built Stone's bike. He added so many things, some of them have never been used. He made the helmet and the gloves and everything else, and he made them sturdy and practical. And he went with Stone's colors instead of his own.

But before that? Before that he gave Stone his watch. He added him to the not okay to kill list, the only other name besides his own. He wrote manuals for Stone to be able to operate his tech when he's not there, and he left Stone instructions to be able to build and program his own weapons and defenses, in case the Doctor ever couldn't.

I like to think Robotnik's love for Stone is written in code, programmed into every single thing he creates.
