In my understanding, a route is a chosen path of commitment to a certain RO.

In the story, the MC must choose only one RO [or choose the solo route], which essentially resolves the core issue of the love triangle.

After making that choice, the dynamic will still be active. It means the RO who wasn't chosen will continue to show that their attraction hasn't diminished, and their actions will express that they still hope the MC might choose them.

However, the MC will not have options such as "I like RO1… but I can't stop thinking about RO2," nor will they be able to reciprocate while already committed to another, as I would hate to write the MC as a cheater.

What I've described means it would not only be incorrect to label this dynamic as a "love triangle" [since MC won't be actively torn between those two ROs], but it would also give readers certain ideas that simply won't be explored after the route is locked.

This will lead to disappointment from an expectation I unintentionally set, and I'd rather avoid that, which is why this dynamic is called "Established Rivals" [plus, it fits those two ROs much better].

In book 3, if you're in a relationship with N and you kissed Bobby, N becomes "suddenly serious" after you explain about the kiss. For example:

"How did I end up with someone as amazing as you?" I ask with a smile of my own, sidling a step closer.

A sudden seriousness catches his expression I didn't expect as his gaze traces over my face. "I think I should be asking you that question instead."

Was this N realising they're in love with MC? Or something else?

N gets a bit...antsy when people call them amazing or perfect, etc.

There are parts of themself they know they need to work on, and they don't want anyone (especially the MC) seeing them as what they're not.

But yeah...totally because they are also realising just how deep they are falling for the MC, hehe! :D

Hello, Mishka!

First of all, I’d like to thank you for your work on Wayhaven Chronicles. I really enjoy the story and the characters, but I had a question about a part of Natalie’s past in Book 3.

In the scene where she talks about going on Admiral Hough’s ship, the way she responds leaves some parts open to interpretation. It made me wonder whether there was any implication that she had to do something beyond simply boarding the ship to secure her passage. This part left me uncertain about what really happened, and since this is a sensitive topic for me, I wanted to clarify.

Could you confirm whether the intention of the scene was just to show that she boarded normally, or if there was another layer to it?

No, it's simply Nat just paid for passage and boarded the ship. Nothing more than that. The admiral's betrayal came later when selling the passengers' blood out to the vampires.

Victoria Beaumont (she/her) *not for transmasc or male MCs

Quiet on her feet, you'd never see her coming till she was next to you, signature grin on those painted red lips of hers. You swear those pale green eyes of hers glow in the dark, reminiscent of her animal form, a leopard,'s.

Victoria is 23, with long blonde hair and pale green eyes. You can find her wearing a lot of leopard print funnily enough, and she seems to prefer clothing reminiscent of the 2000s.

Blaine Lastor (she/her; he/him)

Blaine is not a trusting person, not in a world where shapeshifters are hunted down. She/ He has been cautious from the start, watching her/ his words around you, standing in corners and quietly observing.

Blaine is 23, and M!Blaine has a buzz cut while F!Blaine has braids. No matter what gender Blaine is however, she/ he has warm brown eyes. Blaine doesn't really care about clothing, mostly picking whatever is comfortable and available. She/ He wears a lot of compression shirts, though.

Elexis Xu (徐雅莉) (he/they)

Quiet and introverted, you can find Elexis in corners of rooms, watching people quietly and dreaming up his next art piece. He seems friendly enough, taking a curiosity to you, and you've even made him laugh. Still, it feels like he isn't as open as he seems.

Elexis is 22, and has long white hair and brown eyes. His white hair changes from season to season, like his coat as an arctic fox, with new black hair growing from underneath. He likes to wear loose and comfortable clothing, though his favourites are sweaters and baggy pants.

Seraph Windsor (she/her; they/them; he/him)

Seraphina/ Seraph/ Seraphin is the definition of an enigma. Popping next to you mid-gala and leaving you with more questions than answers, their smile and deposition is one of the most memorable things about them. Victoria however, warns you to stay away from them, but the real question is, can you?

Seraph is 24 and has curly brown hair and amber eyes. F!Seraph keeps her hair long, preferring to keep it in a half-up, half-down updo; while both Agender!Seraph and M!Seraph leaves it as it is (left down and short, respectively). Seraph is often wearing some sort of expensive clothing, whether it is a branded one, or made personally by fashion designers themselves, and it reflects their unique tastes.

Brooks Sinclair (he/him)

Shapeshifters and PSTC Officers do not mix... though Brooks seem to be one of the exceptions. You have no choice but to work with him, if only to stay free, and he seems just as reluctant to work with you. Still, can you really trust such a high-ranking Officer?

Brooks is 21 and has tousled brown hair and blue eyes, ones that remind you of the sea. He seems to dress casually out of uniform, and you have to say, his style isn't all that bad.

Based on what you have planned what do you think your favorite stop is going to be?

California or Vegas but more so California. I just love endings lol. It's not that I want to see Infamous over but it would be nice to step back and see it as a fully realized piece of work. Since this is my first IF I've never experienced that before.

Chapter 5's stop is a really interesting one story-wise! Chapter 5, to me, is a chapter that expands the scope of the story. I'm excited for Florida because I live here lmao

Cursed Covenant: Demonic Pursuit Information

As Cursed Covenant is approaching release (05.08.25), I've put together a small information post. So if you've missed any news or previous chapters, please take a look! :>

Before anything else: this is an adult game. Cursed Covenant is made for adults and deals with mature, explicit themes. It features detailed, animated sex scenes with sfx, which are not optional. These scenes are narrative-driven and play a crucial role in the story and character arcs. If sexual content isn't for you, this game likely won't be either.

Key Information:

There is one main love interest, whose gender you choose at the start: Exon, the male Magi, or Imazz, the female Magi.

Character creation for the MC includes choices for pronouns, skin tone, voice, body, and name(later on).

While there is one primary romance, the story includes intimate scenes with other characters. These are directly tied to the plot and themes, and are best discovered as you play. (I don't want to spoil anything)
