Jabari seemed a bit taken aback from Karik's gesture, casting a quick glance down at Karik's hand that enveloped his hoof. "Mmm..." He's slowly getting the hint but he feels like now isn't the right time to get close with the detective. "As much as I'd love to reconnect, I'd prefer if we stay as just colleagues for the time being since we just spoke again after a very long time and I'd rather not go into this too quickly, Detective." He responded with a firm and yet polite tone, soon pocketing his hoof after feeling Karik letting go of his hoof.

Jabari then started to look over the notes, "These will explain everything you have found out, correct?" He asked with a serious tone. "Hmm..." He hummed softly while reading.

Karik came closer to the chief taking hold of the other's hand.

"Oh, by all means I'll tell you everything. But...can we also reconnect? I missed you a lot. You were on my mind a lot throughout this whole thing. Like here are my notes those explain things pretty much in all the detail you need. But, while we look them over we can also talk maybe? I admit I maybe missed you...more than most..."

Karik sometimes wished Bogo would call him Karik instead of Detective all the time. Surely, they were more than just colleagues at this point right? Karik always called him Bogo then again that was his second name not his first. But, Detective was a title like Chief.

Karik dropped the notes down with his other free hand. Before then letting go of Bogo's hand since the moment passed.

We're gonna enter 2025 with two crews from two great movies that will come for the 2nd time this year. The Bad Guys and Zootopia. And this time with even more fellas from both crews

Jabari didn't know how he usually feels about Jr's response. "The Ashen Lords?" He questioned with genuine intrigue, standing up tall while crossing his arms. "Look, I'm trying to find more information about you and the others but the museum archives are kind of a big archive so it's been difficult getting some information."

"Sure I survived an encounter with the Ashen Lords as you mentioned but that alone shouldn't make me a mammal who's of interest." Jabari pointed out. "...should it?"

A glint of red flashes through the eye slits of the golden mask- Jr stops in their tracks for a second. Annoying that they've gotten caught, usually they're more stealthy- but they're getting used to the city. So they walk up to him, tilting their head to a side.

"Mnn, not really. Father's curious about you. So am I. You survived an encounter with the Ashen Lords."

There’s a MONSTER buried within me. It wants to be let out. It wants to bring the people down to their knees. It wants to set the world on fire. I try to quell the beast trapped inside of me. But you know what? Sometime my anger gets the best of me– AND I CAN’T HOLD THE MONSTER BACK.

Change of plans, I’m not taking my gaming laptop because I haven’t used it in over a year or more and it’s a hassle trying to update my laptop and then I’d have to transfer icons from my external hard drive which has my icons and stuff to my laptop which is a hassle so I’d most likely just play video games on my Steam Deck and hang out with my cousin.

I can write some here and there on either my iPhone or my iPad but other than that, I’ll be going without icons and graphics which is fine. I just won’t be able to trim the way I usually do.

I’ll be away from my computer tomorrow until the 26th or 27th but I’ll be taking my gaming laptop with me and I may or may not write, I’m not sure if I will write when I’m out of state.

I do have a lot of threads/asks on separate posts from the actual ask in my drafts section and a lot of asks in my inbox so I’m slowly getting to them one by one.
