you know what's a good transmasc atla headcanon that doesn't get enough love? aang. the air nomads are chill so him being able to transition pre-canon makes sense and the only time he seems insecure in his gentler masculinity is when the ember island players imply he's a girl. like in general he's not bothered by being seen as sweet and fun-loving and not hyper-masculine so it comes off like his problem is just being misgendered. he's totally confident being a soft boy but he IS a boy, you know?

(also he's very literally a boy who used to be a girl bc kyoshi yangchen etc. so just conceptually the avatar's kinda trans)

I am not saying that zuko is sokkas substitute for kya. or they look in any way similar! The whole concept here is that something was happening at the moment, be it how they were laying in bed, how the hair pooled over the pillow, or how sokka was able to hold onto it. It just brought sokka back. It triggered a memory, and suddenly he relived a brief memory. Making him suddenly miss his mother again. hope you enjoy!

So while rewatching Avatar: The Last Airbender recently, I noticed a trend

A number of spirits we see have an animal form, specifically animals we recognize as "normal" for us. For example:

- Wan Shi Tong is an owl and his knowledge seekers are foxes

- Tui and La are koi fish

- Hei Bai is a panda

-The guardian of the mother of faces is a wolf (The Search)

Heck there's even the talking Baboon spirit and the monkey missing its face that we see in the Spirit World at the end of Season 1.

Basically every time we've seen a "normal" animal, they've been a spirit.

My point? I argue that Bosco is a spirit bear that's chilling and living the good life in the mortal world just because he can.
