Off, but I was talking to my bestie and we decided that Hyapercy only ever got together because Hyacinthus got sent to court Percy in a similar way that Helen of Sparta was having all those suitors coming to bother her.

The reason shit didn't end with war is because Poseidon was a present enough father that people knew he wouldn't take too kindly to bridnapping.

Guess what 😭😭

I took a Concerta and a caffeinated drink last evening to do my homework and I was planning on reading for an hour to both let the thing start working and just spend it however I wanted. I then fell asleep 30 minutes later. Like tf you mean I was supposed to be full of energy 😭😭

Anyway, thankfully the homework I wanted to do wasn't too important and I can just do it now since I woke up early anyway.

There's a Chinese superstition that says Drsgons are afraid of Centipedes.

Imagine Lloyd getting shivers when he's alone with Kai, or even just near him. He has no idea why, but he does.

Sadness

Bug Kai and dragon oni Lloyd bonding would actually go so hard.

And I can think of three-ish scenarios

Scenario A

Lloyd who has been having identity issues since the oni season (do not ask me to recall what number I don't remember) even though his whole family isnt fully human and they could help him he still rejected that part of himself. Well Lloyd finds out Kai is also no longer human. And kai is pretty casual about it hes come to terms with it and still is kinda angst helps Lloyd out

Now scenario B

Reverse the roles Kai is grappling with the fact that he's no longer human and Lloyd finds him mid mental breakdown and helps him. Kai says some angsty stuff like "why do you still love me (PLATONIC) even though I'm a monster?"

Then Lloyd says something like "cause you're my brother, and it would be kinda hypocritical of me to hate you just because you aren't entirely human."

Then they hug it out

Alternatively again Scenario 3 best angst

Both Kai and Lloyd still haven't come to terms with the fact that they're not human. Except Lloyd is used to it and ignores it while Kai is very new to it.

Lloyd finds out about kai to which Kai then freaks out that Lloyd knows, and Lloyd realises that he sees the same fear he has in Kai and that's when he realises that although he's still hiding and actively hating this part of himself that he's not alone and maybe Kai and Lloyd can help eachother come to terms with it.

I was just writing a scene about a king and now a father. He had to get married only to produce a heir and he doesn't love the woman he married and she doesn't like him either. (Plus they're also both having an affair, with the other both knowing) Anyway, the baby is born and the king doesn't want his child because he didn't want the marriage and wanted to be married to another woman but wasn't allowed because she's a knight. But then she forced the king to hold her baby and he said this: "This is ridiculous. I'm a king, not a nanny." Y'know those sorts of lines right? And I was going to write something bla bla bla but then I thought of such a good reply:

She frowned. "You are a king <em>and</em> a father." She said sternly. "Plus a nanny would do a much better job of holding a newborn than you."

I'm so proud of this(these?) line lmao.

Now you’re Tim and Jason. For almost a decade, you’ve had to deal with this perfect golden child doing everything you’ve ever done but better. He’s a natural born acrobat; Bruce can’t stop bragging about how skilled he is at such a young age. He’s a natural charmer, never struggling to connect with the heroic world in the same way they did. He’s happy. You’ve never had the privilege.

And then you hear that your perfect sibling “cheated” somewhere along the grape vine. That perfect facade seemingly comes crumbling down. You run with it.

Suddenly, every opportunity you get, you bring it up to take Dick down a peg. It’s payback for every time you’ve felt lessened. There’s a primal hurt beyond hurt in the back of Dick’s eyes, but you do your best to shake off the guilt because it’s finally his turn.

Now you’re Dick again, and every time you think you’ve started to recover from flinching at every touch and second-guessing every person who ever approaches you, your two older brothers torment you again.

Can we make it a little more fucked up and heartbreaking?

Dick is barely 18.

He’s barely 18 and he thinks his girlfriend wants to sleep with him for the first time.

He’s barely 18 and he’s just lost his virginity with his first serious girlfriend.

He’s barely 18 and he finds out it was all a lie, all a ruse.

He’s barely 18 and now all his friends are calling him a cheater. None of them are taking a moment to even listen to him. He gets told that he’s an idiot for not recognizing that an imposter wasn’t his girlfriend.

He’s barely 18 and now his older brothers have heard about it and won’t stop bringing it up, won’t stop rubbing it in his face. He has no idea why they even care, it’s not like they’ve bothered with the Titans before, it’s not like they’ve ever shown any interest in Dick’s life at all.

He can’t live in Titans Tower because all of his friends have turned on him. He can’t live in the manor because Tim and Jason harass him every chance they get. He can’t live with Damian in the penthouse because he’s on a long term mission in space and won’t be back for another couple months.

He’s barely 18 and he’s relocated to Blüdhaven, of all places. He has a crappy apartment and a crappy job, but at least it’s away from everyone else. But still, every time he has to go to the batcave, every time he has to interact with anyone in the hero community, he’s reminded of what happened. He can’t escape it.

He barely eats. He barely sleeps. He barely speaks.

He goes out at night beating up would-be muggers and other common goons. He makes enemies in Blüdhaven as Nightwing. But Dick Grayson stays firmly under the radar. Dick Grayson hardly leaves his apartment.

When Damian and the others from his mission get back, Damian hears Tim and Jason snickering about something related to Dick. They insinuate that Damian is going to be disappointed in him.

“Highly unlikely,” he tells them, not bothering to stick around to find out what they’re talking about. He’d rather hear about it from Dick.

Except he can’t find Dick anywhere. And none of his littlest brother’s friends will give him any answers as to where he might be.

He hates to use it, but he eventually checks the data he knows Bruce keeps on them from the trackers in their arms he thinks they don’t know about. And when he finds his baby brother has been spending majority of his time in Blüdhaven, he’s shocked.

He grows concerned when he enters the apartment only to find Dick heaving over the toilet. He tries to ask what’s wrong, tries to help, reminded of the days when Dick was his Robin and he was Dick’s Batman, but Dick just keeps shaking his head and pushing him away.

When he finally manages to get Dick to tell him what’s wrong, Damian feels like the entire world just tilted.

He feels like a failure. Like he failed the most important job he had. He feels like he should have been there to stop it, instead of being in space.

Because what’s the point of being a hero if he couldn’t save his baby brother – the boy who’s practically his son – from something like this.

“You did nothing wrong,” he tells Dick, holding him tight.

“Yes I did,” Dick insists, his voice small, cracking.

“No, you did not.”

“Then why does everyone keep saying I did?”

Damian’s heart shatters into smaller and smaller pieces with each sob Dick lets out.

“Because they are all morons,” he tells Dick. “You. Did nothing. Wrong.”

Dick is breaking down in Damian’s arms, muttering, “It was supposed to be special.” He presses himself closer to Damian, as if he could disappear inside his arms if he tried hard enough.

“I know,” Damian tells him with a sigh. “I know.”

Tonight, Damian will make sure Dick is alright. Tomorrow, he’ll bring him home with him so he doesn’t have to live in the cesspit that is Blüdhaven.

And then the day after-

The day after, he’s going to make everyone who hurt his baby brother regret they were ever even born.
