Arguably the best seasons are both spring and autumn.

Don't get me wrong, I love the summer for its hot days. What can be better than going for a swim, enjoying mocktails with friends or just lying about. Same with cozying up under the blankets with a hot beverage. Binging some television and decorating your free time indoors. Or going out to enjoy the snow (if it does).

But nothing beats the first fresh breeze after weeks of frying in the sun. Or reversely, the first sunshine, the first birds singing their tunes after the long and dark months. This sense of relief that washes over me like a steady and calm wave. That is the best feeling in the world to me.

(I am melting, get me out of this summer heat. My room is a cookpot and outside is a frying pan.)
