“and this one is from falling off my bike when i was seven.” you pointed to the patch of skin on your brow bone, that was faintly a different shade. jason’s eyes followed to it, a smile crossing his face.

“atleast you didn’t try eating a stapler.” the blonde boy spoke. you looked back at him amused.

“is that where that’s from?” your eyes glanced to the scar above his lip.

jason shrugged, “i suppose it didn’t taste very good.”

you laughed and slapped his forearm playfully, “well no shit, sherlock. how old were you?”

“two.”

the both of you were laughing together on the wooden bench outlooking the lake. some would find the spot intimate, or perhaps even a bit romantic. not yet, you thought.

and still not yet when jason carefully caressed the scarred part of your brow with his hand.

i love jason and you should too.

you secluded yourself into the corner of the library. N.E.W.T.S were coming up and you needed no distractions.

you gently unfolded your silver rimmed metal glasses and placed them on the bridge of your nose. the words on the books easily identifiable now.

you gotten through only a few pages when you heard an audible gasp from in front of you. slowly, you lifted your head up to see sebastian sallow of all people.

his eyebrow scrunched in curiosity and his hazel eyes widened while looking at your face, “you wear glasses?” he asked. he took the seat in front of you, gazing at your face.

“yes?” you had to admit, it was kind of uncomfortable to be the focus of his attention. usually it was plastered to some magic he read in a book, or some girl he passed by in the hall. his eyes never left your face, almost as if he’d never seen glasses before in his life

he suddenly raised his arm and snatched the glasses right off your face. you yelped at the action, your eyes trying to refocus on your surroundings. his smug smile was the first thing you noticed when your eyes finally relaxed.

then your eyes trailed up to his nose, then his eyes — covered by your glasses.

“do i look smarter?” he mouth never faded from that devious smirk of his. you huffed, he didn’t look smarter… he looked cuter.

“no. dorkier, but not smarter.” you took your glasses and placed them back on your face. sebastian chuckled and rested his head into his arm, staring at you once again.

“so do i look smarter?” you quipped, mocking his question. sebastian just stared at you.

untill he finally said, “you look cuter.” not only did he leave you speechless and flushed, he said the words you were too afraid to say.

-now it’s like snow on the beach, weird but it was beautiful

a/n: this is my first little blurb/imagine, plz be proud of me

“you couldn’t of picked somewhere warmer?” you groaned and pulled your hogwarts robe closer to your body.

it was the last day before winter break and sebastian had wanted to talk to you. so you followed him down to the boathouse. it wasn’t an unusual place to talk, the rippling waves in the lake made for a pretty relaxing atmosphere.

but not when the weather showed signs of snowfall and frigid conditions.

“oh please,” he laughed as he walked along the wooden planks “don’t be dramatic.”

you scoffed and tried to kick him, but he chuckled and hopped away from you. you pouted, then rolled your eyes unable to erase the smile painted on your face. there was usually always a smile on your face when you were with sebastian.

“thanks for the compliment sallow.” you grumbled.

he clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth and turned back to face you with a soft smirk. “its what i do best.”

you suddenly didn’t feel so cold anymore.

“yeah yeah.” you bumped his shoulder with your own. the air whistled through the boathouse onto the lake. the frost coated the trees nearby, and the slight smell of pine captivated your senses.

sebastian cleared his throat and ran his fingers through his hair, “anyway, you’ll never believe what i heard.” you focused your attention to boy next to you, seeing a rosey tint on his nose — most likely from the weather. he let out a breath before saying: “leander prewett wants to court you.”

if water was in your mouth, you would’ve spit it out. you couldn’t help but laugh, “don’t pull my leg, sallow. that is the most ridiculous thing i’ve ever heard you say — and you say some pretty stupid stuff.” you regained your breath and wiped the tears from your eyesight (from laughing so hard).

“i wish i jest.” he sighed, leaning against the metal railing. “believe me, i couldn’t believe my ears.” sebastian rubbed his neck.

you shook your head and mirrored his position on the railing, “he knows i despise him, correct?”

“correct.”

“he knows that it’ll never happen, correct?”

“well…” sebastian shrugged, “can’t blame a man for romanticizing hatred.” you elbowed his stomach in response. he groaned and hunched over, followed by laugher shared by the two of you.

it were times like these were you were glad to have someone like sebastian next to you. even if you did wished for something more than friendship…

M/C: Yes.
