I have a confession to make

I played this season’s questline in mute and delulu their voice in my head. But today i turned the voice on out of curiosity and i didn’t expect Ravion to sound so young (it suits him tho!), but maybe it’s my fault for imagining him with Knock Out’s voice in the first place 💀💀💀

He was giving K.O energy since the moment he appeared on screen and i was not wronggg, they’re both slackers and the most chill guy on the villain side.

Sinbad in warm clothes (his trip to whiteridge), huge coat with fur and everything, the Mystical house happily sponsor this fit.

Sinbad in my what if AU where that one time he tried to sail and ended up dying at sea, got recruited by Hodgkin and became part of the Dead tide fleet, they succeeded taking over Rustport and free to roam the ocean. Despite all of that, he still cares abour his mothers and their well-being tho, they get to live comfortably but at a huge price.

This idea were brewing in my head wayyy back when season 2 came, inspired by pirates of the Caribbean 🤟

Awful ending i know, i love it, but not as much as what we’re having right now, he’s more free than ever.

Or this could be just a costume for halloween lol.

The FIRST Divine War.

My guess: ~ended at least more than 2000 years ago.

Battle against the Hypogeans and the Great Will, lead by Gods and Celestials, mortals also play into this. It ended with all of the hypos being sealed by Dura, but some slipped through her grasp.

The Immortal War.

My guess: started at 1700, ended at 1300 years ago.

The gods pointed their weapon at eachother, dragging in mortals as their pawns. But not all gods though.

Yes it’s bullshit to drag uninvolved people into some personal beef with someone your size and status, so the mortals had enough and waged war agaist the gods with the help of Dura’s #1 fan, Merlin, who seems to got a taste of using magic firsthand.

Age of Arcana (~started 1650 years ago)

Dun dun dun, it seems like a god died of mysterious circumstances.

Fallen gods no longer have their holds onto their power, it dissipated and return to the world, unbounded by any force, free to use.

Arcane* became something known, something that mortals could understand and practice without permission, the concept of magic was born alongside magisters and mages, those who could harness and bend powers of nature.

(Forgive my self indulgent ass but- arcane exisited long ago, there are some individuals who earned the god’s or magical being’s favor and could use magic, Rose is one of those. There are plenty arcanists back in the day but many are hypogean worshippers, that alone brought bad reputation to arcanists).

OC involvement

Rose was born in the middle stage of 1stDW.

She blew up the ritual, yes, but not before it succeeded. A portal to hypogean realm manifested, and the one emerged from it was none other than the Scar face bird bat wing hybrid guy with snake scales on his body.

Everyone but them died at that point, she wasn’t affected by the huge blast and so does he, and he was like omg you did that? You must be stronk, stronk little mortal *head pat headpat* and left.

Rose had no one to hold onto and can’t make it back to the village on her own so she had to tag along (he’s the least dangerous people she met so far ok). At some point in their short little hourney, she kept begging him to save her village despite having enough strength to do so on her own, he yeeted her so hard that she crashed into the forest near the village out of annoyance. She survived, the village didn’t.

The red dragons tried to fend off the adversaries but couldn’t save the village, they waited for Rose’s return to bid farewell, gave her blessings and returned to the stars. They’re so done with Esperia lol.

There, she heard Dura for the first time, the goddess offered help with an exchange…

Rose became Dura’s vessel because she’s the most durable human so far. Dura, Dura-ble, get it-

Dura can use illusion magic to separate two identities, no one knew the two of them shared the same body. Dura could only possess Rose when needed, sounds like there are a lot of free time but Rose had to carry out missions when she’s the one who’s taking the wheel.

Both of them worked really hard to end the war.

Dura sealed all (but one) hypos on the surface of Esperia and bid Rose peace + farewell, granted her the gift of immortality, but Rose didn’t consider it as done.

She carved a portal down to hypo realm and caused havoc with no intention of heading back (Rose had no reason to live anymore, if she’s about to suicide, better turn it into a mission), the hypos fought hard to push her out, Dura once again took over for the final time and closed the portal shut.

The 1stDW officially ended there.

As Rose was on her journey to find a reason to keep living (doing side quest), another war broke out. Frustrated, she says fuck to those who caused it with no hesitation and led the war.

She met that hypogean guy again, they fought for a bit, friendly sparring, Rose lost (lol), found out that he was the one who killed the first god who fell in that war (the war started before that one god was killed, he didn’t initiated the war) and learned how to use their power. Rose convinced him to join the mortal’s side, teach people how to use magic, but he’s not allowed to kill those who’s not on the mortal’s hitlist, he agreed 👍

The immortal war ended there.

Scar face (i’m gonna call him that, Neo doesn’t sound like it belonged in Esperia) was originally a celestial, got corrupted by Great Will’s dark goo.

Like many Hypogeans he too have a great desire as his driving force. He’s hungry for power just because “who would resist a chance to improve yourself?” His goal is to devour the Great Will, yes he’s a reference to all-devouring serpent.

He could turn into a gigantic flaming blue snake (yes, another arsonist in my OC list), his flames shares the same sentient with it’s master and they can not get snuffed out unless he want them to.

Merlin have fought against him and lost. He have no interest in Merlin’s power and let her go.

The victory of the Immortal war can’t be achieved without him. Merlin was able to convince him to join the mortal’s side was thanks to his desire to get ahold of the god’s power. When he finally mastered them all, he disrespected the fallen gods by saying they are so uncreative with their power.

Not scar face is originally a hypogean, he was yeeted up there on Celestial realm, they successfully purified him (imagine this as a first step as erasing hypogeans by purification) and adopted him for tactical reasons but they treated him well anyway.

He does have a desire though, it’s lowkey but he wish to bring peace to Esperia through absolute control.

His true strength is communicating and strategizing, he could clock people in a debate or a fight. Very innovative when it comes to arcane stuff aka magic before it was even known abot yet, thanks to him, magic became creative and complicated as hell.

One brain and one brawn, i can’t think of any position that’s more fitting than their current ones.

I dunno when are they gonna celebrate their wedding but maybe they did it millennials ago.

Skipping to Merlin’s time at Serene Lyceum. Though not having any interest in Merlin’s power (it’s exclusive, it’s Dura’s skill of boxxing and cleaning stuff that can’t be cleaned god damn it, he wouldn’t want that), he can’t stand seeing someone with such huge raw power wasting it all on basic attacks either, he would love to see people growing and learning too, god damn it, that’s why he took this role in the first place, so he made Merlin studied like crazy and that’s how she graduated early.
