hi, back again

so recently i was on my period and redownloaded instagram b/c one of my friends can only be contacted on there.

there i was, scrolling through reels, innocent of what i would see next.

for reference, i was probably super high on period hormones, so a lot of things in my head weren't making sense overall.

anyways, i like a lot of bookstagram style posts so ya know, the algorithm caters to me.

and then, it happens.

this reel of this dude posing with a book or something whatever.

The reel isn't important. I have the habit of checking the hashtags and description just to see what book it is and if i should add it to my tbr.

I scan through it so fast i barely process a certain hashtag that only clicks in about 3 seconds into the next reel after which i scroll back to pretty boy and reread the hashtag until it makes some sense.

the hashtag was #menwhoread. my deprive mind read that as men whore ad and apparently was okay with that while slightly weirded out. only after 6 seconds, i realized it was "men who read". I feel like the universe is trying to tell me something.

So I just did some math, and y’all got me fucked up.
