Hello, friends! In an effort to spread a little more joy and be a little more active here, I'm gonna not just keep this blog as posts only made by me. I'll have a "this is my thunderjam" tag for things I love, and all that good stuff.

I'm working on more comics behind the scenes but there's nothing to show yet, so I didn't want this blog to completely fade into obscurity. Hope everyone is well! :)

Y'all, I am so excited for more of this series. As a writer, I feel like Casey cares SO much about Buffy as a person, which a lot of people astoundingly miss. A lot of writers and creators are hung up on how cool it is to be a slayer while underserving the women underneath that title. The end of Vol. 1 had me in tears, it was so touching.

Also, Thessaly is an adorable and interesting legacy protagonist, who operates in shades of gray thanks to her magical power and emotional development. Plus Spike is really growing on me, I'll admit. I'm sad that Joe Jaro won't be back on interiors for this but MAN, any more opportunity to see The Last Vampire Slayer in action makes me happy.

This is my big publisher writing debut for comics and I couldn't be more thrilled. This spring, you can pick this anthology up and read "Die and Dash" by myself and Federico Sabbatini- and find out more about what Pop is REALLY serving up to the teens of Riverdale! I can't wait to share more with y'all about this awesome book soon.
