I don't think I've ever actively decided to abandon a fandom...? I just lose interest overtime or have something appear that takes over the space in my head. Sorry for the boring answer!

Character foils? Character foils. ...Is that a trope though...? Well. It's a literary device... But I enjoy the whole opposites, but not really? Like, at the first glance those two characters seem to be standing for two completely different thing, but once you pay attention you realize they are mirrors to each other, more simillar to each other than they would ever admit!
