I agonized over who to choose for the next actress to display on this blog. It took a whole lot of thinking, bouncing back and forth. I felt like I had been doing a lot of newer actors and actresses, and it was time to shine the light on someone who had been around for awhile.
I finally decided on Nicole Kidman.
The first thing I ever saw her in was The Others, which is probably the earliest memory of a ghost story I watched outside of Ghost Ship. I remember having the movie on DVD in a really bulky DVD case. It was one of my mom's favorite movies, so it had to stay in immaculate condition.
She was in a musical called Moulin Rouge, which was my ex-husband's favorite musical of all time.
Some other honorable mentions for her are Just Go With It, alongside Adam Sandler; The Golden Compass.
My favorite of hers though is a tie. She was absolutely wonderful in The Stepford Wives, and what kinda witchy gal would I be if Practical Magic wasn't one of my favorites?
Thank you, Nicole Kidman, for all of these wonderful performances.

Time to put a spotlight on one actor that once i was introduced to him, I fell in love. This, my friends, is Dylan O'Brien.
I was first introduced to him in the MTV show Teen Wolf, where he played the lovable best friend Stiles, who was also a great comic relief. To me, I think his best roles are the comic relief and funny ones.
But, this man does know how to play a serious role as well. He recently starred in M. Night Shyamalan's new movie on HBO Max called Caddo Lake. I did just do a spotlight on that movie on my movie review blog. I enjoyed it very much, I love a good movie that makes you think.
Another great film he starred in was Love and Monsters. It was refreshing to see him take on lead roles outside of television. He has an ever growing list of movies that are destined to make him a movie star, and a well known name throughout the world, in my opinion.
Thank you, my teenage heartthrob, Dylan O'Brien.

Have y'all ever played 'Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon'? Well, if not, here's how it goes. You pick a seemingly random actor, and you have to somehow tie them to Kevin Bacon. Not as easy as it sounds, but it really does all lead back to him.
So, let's play a round.
Cobie Smulders, my sweet, sweet angel. I love her to death, but let's tie her to Kevin Bacon: Cobie Smulders plays a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent in The Avengers - The Avengers go on to have Avengers: Infinity War, featuring the crew of Guardians of the Galaxy. Guardians of the Galaxy has a holiday special, featuring.... Kevin Bacon.
Anyways, that was fun. Cobie Smulders will forever have a special place in my heart as she is one of the leads in my all time favorite television show How I Met Your Mother. She plays Robin, which is the main love interest for two of the other character leads.
The show wouldn't be the same without Cobie Smulders absolutely nailing that role, and for that, I appreciate her.

Okay, so after a much needed break from everything that is life, I have returned once again to bless y'all's tumblr with another actor highlight. Thank you all for staying patient with me as I navigate my way.
Today's actor may have a familiar face, as he's been in the spotlight since he was just an itty bitty child. This, ladies and gentlemen, is Cole Sprouse. AKA my childhood crush that was similar in age to me.
Cole Sprouse made his debut in a television series named Grace Under Fire, and since then, he has become a well known name and face throughout many big name projects.
The first thing I ever saw Cole Sprouse in was Big Daddy, where he played as Julian alongside Adam Sandler. He was so small then, and he has grown to be a very handsome man.
Cole has been in many things, from The Suite Life of Zach and Cody where he played alongside his twin brother, Dylan Sprouse, as the two terrorizer kids who lived in a hotel, to Riverdale, playing as the moody and ever brooding Jughead.
Recently, he played in Zelda Williams' Lisa Frankenstein. That was a good movie, I must say, and I was super into the retro vibes it had. Though not my favorite Cole Sprouse flick, it definitely deserved an honorable mention here.
My favorite movie, though, as I am a sucker for those movies that just rip your heart out, is Five Feet Apart. I cried endlessly while watching this movie and if you haven't seen it, I do very much so recommend you find the time to make it apart of your movie collection.
That's it, though, for now. I will be posting more frequently, so stay tuned for more actor appreciation posts. My library wouldn't be the same without the very charitable offerings Cole has given unto Hollywood.

So this person has really become a household name in the past year or two, and she really deserves it.
This person is extremely talented and always understands the assignment.
Let's hear a round of applause for Jenna Ortega!
She's been around for awhile now, but nothing really took off for her until she was casted as Wednesday Addams in the Netflix original series, Wednesday, which is the first thing I ever saw her in, and my favorite.
I've seen a few other things with her in it as well. There's this movie called The Fallout, about surviving a school shooting, and her performance in that is so powerful. The movie is a great representation of grief, and no matter how much time has passed, it can hit you at any moment.
Then there's the movie Yes Day, where she plays the daughter, and her parents have to say yes to everything for a whole day. She's really good at playing an angsty teenager. In fact, she perfectly represents the angsty teenager in all of us.
To my understanding, she also has a major role in the more recent Scream movies, but I have never seen a Scream movie, and I dunno if I want to start now.
Also, lately in the news, she has been confirmed to be starring in Beetlejuice 2! Now, that is one movie I am rather excited for I loved Beetlejuice as a kid, and I am so sure that I will love this long awaited sequel.

So, I'm back, once again, and I am starting off with a bang, lemme tell ya.
We all get celebrity crushes, someone who could play a very minor part and we would still watch it simply because that person is in it, or when we watch something not knowing they are in it and get pleasantly surprised to be blessed with their face.
Nobody can deny how absolutely captivating Jesse Williams is.
I first saw him in the HIT television series Grey's Anatomy, in fact that's currently the show I am binge watching for the second time and he just got introduced into the fold.
That also happens to be my favorite thing he's been in, granted I haven't seen much of his work.
You may recognize him from some movies, such as the new(ish) movie on Netflix, Your Place or Mine, where he plays the famous editor Theo Martin.
He's also been in Cabin in the Woods, Secret Headquarters, and recently appeared in the Hulu Original Series Only Murders in the Building.
We all know what drew us to him... LOOK AT THOSE EYES. I swear, those are the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen.
Thank you, Jesse Williams, for your stunning contribution to the cinematic and television world. We really appreciate you.

I know, I know.. It’s been awhile. But, hear me out- life.
Whilst I cannot promise a schedule with my posts, know that I will never abandon my duties as blog mistress.
That being said, lets go ahead and take a dive into today’s guest of honor: Viola Davis.
It took me awhile to figure out who I wanted to post on this blog next. Every name I passed just didn’t scream out at me enough because it just wasn’t their time. But Viola Davis has been a constant source of entertainment for me, so when I thought of her while scrolling, I just knew I had to do an update on her.
The first thing I ever saw Viola in was Disturbia. I will admit to having forgotten about that movie, and her appearance in it. I do remember watching it when I was around 8 or 9 years old though. I have always preferred more intense movies as opposed to the kids movies I was supposed to have been watching at that age. Now it seems like I need to rewatch it to refresh my memory.
Her most memorable role for me, however, was her starring role on How To Get Away With Murder. I was absolutely fascinated with this show, as I also wanted to become a lawyer or detective, since I really love puzzles. The show never really had a dull moment, and it excited me. She was brilliant in this.
My favorite, however, will be a movie that will always remain a favorite of mine ever since I saw it. I recommend it to others all the time, and I just can’t get enough of it.. The Help. The Help is a movie that will always move me to tears, no matter how many times I may have seen it. Whenever I need a good cry, this movie is definitely a contender on what I will be watching.
Without Viola, I feel the roles she played in these things would have been an injustice if played by anyone else. So, thank you, Viola, for making my heart melt when it needs to be melted.

Here we are again, featuring another actor on my blog. Noah Centineo isn’t new to the acting scene, but he has only recently gotten the recognition he deserves. I remember being a teenager, when this new Disney show came out that my sister was absolutely obsessed with..
I’m sure you’ve guessed it by now, since this piece is on Noah Centineo.. But Austin and Ally. Noah played the by Dallas who ran the cell phone accessory cart at the mall. This was the very first thing I ever saw Noah in.. And if I were Ally, I would have kept chasing Dallas than settling for Austin, let’s be real here.
Now, he hasn’t only had small roles, remember? Like I said, he’s been in the spotlight a lot recently. So let’s touch base on To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before.. Where he played the MAIN squeeze, as he rightfully deserves to be. I couldn’t imagine Peter being played by anyone else in those movies. He is perfect in everything he’s been in.
He does have a new show out on Netflix called The Recruit, and I will be binge watching it tonight, as I didn’t know about it until earlier today. I can’t wait to see him on my big screen again.
I don’t know if y’all are big into youtube channels or shows, but Noah did do a guest appearance on Good Mythical Morning recently, where he did a lot of hugging. You should really go check it out. You can really see his personality shine through when he isn’t given a script to act on.
Noah is perfection and I cannot wait to see what the future holds for him.

I am currently under the weather and don’t know how creative I can be with this post, but I feel like I have to update as much as I can. There are so many actors and actresses out there that deserve recognition, whether they are still in the acting scene, deceased, or still booming in Hollywood.
I saw a preview for the show That 90′s Show, the That 70′s Show Reboot, and it got me thinking, I haven’t done a single person from that show, even though almost all of them are big names these days. So, for this post, I chose to do Mila Kunis, who played Jackie in That 70′s Show!
That 70′s Show was the first thing I ever saw her in, ever. I used to come home from school, and back in those days I had an antennae TV and could only get like 3 channels, but lucky for me, That 70′s Show was on one of those channels. I used to come home and get settled in and watch That 70′s Show, Family Guy (also has Mila Kunis in it), and many other shows.
My favorite thing with Mila Kunis in it though has to be The Angriest Man in Brooklyn. She perfectly compliments Robin Williams’ character in this movie, and everybody did so well in that movie, it had me in tears.
The first movie I ever saw her in I think though was Black Swan alongside Natalie Portman. I was about twelve years old when I watched that I did not understand a thing. I should probably rewatch it, and who knows, maybe it will become my favorite afterall.
Good night, everyone.

And we’re back, with more Actor Appreciation, of course.
Look at that face. Ya recognize it? You should. He went from being a teen heart throb, to any middle aged person’s dream guy. Brad Pitt has an attractive and yet quirky look to him, and it makes him easily recognizable in anything he is in.
So, welcome to Actor Appreciation: Brad Pitt edition.
Now, I am just a blogger and you are very welcome to disagree with who I post and what I say about them. These posts are all just a statement of my opinion, and sometimes it could be the boost the actor needs on a down day. (I do tweet these out once I’m done posting them. Who knows if they see them).
The very first thing I remember seeing Brad Pitt in was his ONE time appearance on the show Tales From the Crypt. You really gotta dive into his history to even know about that, or really only big fans of him would know. Tales From the Crypt, if you can’t tell, was a horror series that used to air on television. I’ve always been a big horror person, even at a young age (not that I’m old or anything.), so Tales From the Crypt was a favorite growing up.
My favorite thing Brad Pitt has been in though is Once Upon A Time in Hollywood. I truly don’t know why, but the way he plays an aloof stunt double just really showed another side of him and it was so unlike what he’s done before that it just really stuck with me.
Honorable mentions: The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (Such a sad movie, made me cry), Inglorious Basterds (I never really liked movies like this, and I was like 12 when I saw it. Probably should have waited til I was older to even understand it.), Troy (Huge fan of this one, and I never thought I would be until my ex boyfriend made me watch it.)
So this concludes this installment of Actor Appreciation. Do y’all agree?

On today’s episode of Actor Appreciation, we feature.. Zoe Saldana!
I am running on fumes, fighting sleep, so I don’t know how detailed this post will be, but I picked her out to do today while I was at work. No particular reason why other than wanting to do someone that was unrelated to my last post. I try not to do actors all in the same movie or show in a row.
The first thing I saw Zoe in was Avatar. I loved that movie when it came out and it does still rank highly on the ever growing list of movies I have seen (I have a movie review blog, too, you should check it out). It, however, is not my favorite movie I have seen her in.
I have to mention her HIT role in the MCU’s Guardians of the Galaxy. Literally no one could play Gamora as well as she does, and I dare they even try because I will throw hands. I have been a huge super hero nerd since the day I was born, and I think she does really well, if ya can’t tell.
My favorite movie she is in, however, is The Adam Project. That movie really tugs at my heart strings as a single mom, and the adventures they go through in this movie to protect the child and save the future, all while trying to make sure the kid understands he needs to be kind to his mom is just outstanding work.
Okay, I should probably sleep. Goodnight everyone.

I mean.. It’s time right? This man deserves the best, and whilst I know my blog isn’t the best, he still deserves a space here. I could create a whole blog dedicated to this man and it wouldn’t be enough. Brendan Fraser, my childhood, my first adult crush, my first action hero.
My first favorite.
This man has been through hell, and still comes to the top in everything. And hey, Brendan.. Me, too. I have been there. Me, too.
Okay let’s talk the movies before this post becomes too emotional.
The first thing I ever saw him in was George of the Jungle, because I was a kid and that’s a family movie. I absolutely loved him. Love at first sight, as they say. He is going to stay at the top for always and eternity.
The Mummy series are not the same without him. He is my only star. I love you, Brendan.
My favorite one, though? Journey to the Center of the Earth. That movie absolutely threw me. It’s got adventure, emotional heart string pulling, and great family bonding.
I am so glad he is back into acting, and I would absolutely murder anyone who wrongs him. He deserves the world, and I am willing to give it to him.
Oh, I also can’t forget his small but very impacting role on Scrubs. Scrubs is one of my comfort shows, and his role gave the show the first “serious moment in a comedy” that showed comedies can tackle hard subjects.
Signing off. With love.

So, I am constantly juggling who to post next. Sometimes I do a bunch of research on someone just to not do them at all. But today, while I sat here pondering, I got distracted with the good ol’ book of faces, and stumbled upon a Beetlejuice post, and I had my answer.
Winona Ryder, guys. Why did it take me so long? I cannot answer that question. What I can answer, is how amazing she is as a human being, and actress.
Now I’m not here to talk about her personal life, but her film life. Obviously, the first thing I ever saw her in was Beetlejuice, one of my favorite movies growing up. I’ve always been strange and unusual, and I related so much to Winona Ryder’s character in it.
Recently, she has been starring and dominating in the Netflix series Stranger Things, and if you haven’t seen that, I’m gonna need you to up your game. I am a die hard fan. When I tell you I ordered a custom Christmas ornament from Etsy and it came with a Stranger Things sticker, and I was almost more excited for the sticker than the ornament, I mean it.
I cannot live without the creepy movies Winona has helped bring into my life, and I almost forgot! Her voice in Frankenweenie made the whole movie, don’t you agree?
All right, that’s enough gushing. Until next time!

I apparently started off coming back to blogging with my last post, so let’s see if I can keep the force going. Harrison Ford, ladies and gentlemen. The one and only Han Solo that I will ever accept as my lord and savior.
Harrison Ford has been in plenty of big hits, but as y’all know by now, we are only going to be talking about a few of them, because if I had to talk about all of them, my already super long posts will just become outrageous.
Now, I’m gonna be real with you guys. I kinda suck at watching older movies, so the first movie I ever watched with Harrison Ford in it was Ender’s Game. Which, don’t get me wrong, is a good movie. But.. I should have started elsewhere.
I have since seen all of the Star Wars movies, so don’t worry. I am working on changing the errors of my ways. I absolutely love Star Wars, so there is a New Hope for me yet. I really couldn’t picture Han Solo being played by anyone else in those movies. If I ever got the chance to tell Harrison Ford I love him.. All he will say is, “I know.” and I will just die on the spot to be honest.
The most recent movies I have watched him in is the Indiana Jones franchise. I know it took me a hot minute to watch them but I really binged them all one after the other. I have never been one for action movies but I was convinced to watch them by my ex boyfriend, and whilst I regret the relationship, I definitely do not regret Indiana Jones. I mean who would?
Thank you, Harrison Ford, for everything you do for the film industry. It wouldn’t be the same without you. I love you.

Oh guys, ya girl is back to blogging. I’m sorry for not being around lately, y’know, life and shit.
So let’s get this started back up with a bang, ya feel me? Anna freaking Kendrick. I think I’m in love with her, but then again, who isn’t? She is beautiful, quirky, and overall a great personality. But we aren’t here to talk about that.
The first movie I ever saw her in was, of course, Twilight. Don’t judge me. I had read the books, and I just needed to see it, okay? 5th grade me couldn’t resist.. But much like Anna Kendrick, I forgot she was in it. So hey, Anna, we got something in common.
Now if you weren’t an emo vampire kid (my nickname the bullies gave me in school. How original.), there were plenty of other things she was in. Into the Woods, What to Expect When You’re Expecting, Mr. Right....
My favorite one that she’s been in though? Pitch Perfect. She absolutely slayed in those movies, and I was addicted. The acting and sassiness in that movie alone could take anyone out.
Wasn’t she in that one show.. My Best Friend is a Sex Doll? Or was that entire show just a fever dream I had. Wild.
Either way, Anna Kendrick is an absolute blessing, and the light of my life. I hope y’all can agree.

So I don’t think I even have to say this guy’s name for you guys to recognize him. This is Matthew Gray Gubler. I have to say his name anyways for this post to even make sense, so there ya go.
Published author, artist, and actor, this man has invaded my dreams for over a decade. I have sent him thirst tweets, literally. Granted, they haven’t been answered because you know.. I’m not famous. But I have been in love with this man almost my whole life.
He is Dr. Spencer Reid on Criminal Minds. One of the best crime shows that exist. I can’t for the life of me think of anything else he’s been in but I just be drooling over him in that show.
I dunno if its the nerdy look, the tall and lanky look, the chiseled jaw look, or all of the above that makes him so damn attractive to me but hey. It is what it is.
This concludes this actor appreciation post. Sorry for the thirst rant.

You will never be able to convince me that Miley Cyrus is a bad person. When I look at her, I see myself. A woman who was pressured to become something more than what she wanted to be. Now that she became an adult, she was set free. Free to be whoever the hell she wanted to be.
Now I know Miley hasn’t been in much, acting wise. She had her breakthrough role playing Miley Stewart/Hannah Montana in the Disney series, and that is where I fell in love with her. I was a kid just hoping I was at my grandmother’s house at the same time it was on since my family couldn’t afford cable.I really wanted to be her, I wanted that life.
Then she starred in a movie called LOL, with Demi Moore. Not gonna lie, I never watched it. But that wasn’t my fault. My mom caught me watching it and said it was way too inappropriate for me to see as a kid. So, I guess it is my fault that I haven’t seen it yet now that I am an adult with kids.
Now my favorite movie she was in is Nicholas Sparks’ Last Song. I am all for saving the turtles, and playing the piano and singing. Not that I can do those last two, but I still try. I loved seeing her fall in love, because it was like she really was falling in love, since her and Liam got together. It was magical I found myself wishing I was her again. Living on the beach, falling in love, being musical.
No matter what I watch, I find myself wanting to be her. Which is crazy, because my mom used to tell me I looked like her all the time. She even posted 2 pictures of us side by side asking who was who. It was crazy.
I love you Miley.
