Lian was born to homeless parents, who tried their best to provide for them despite the situation. When they were 4, her parents gave them to Zander, who has been raising her ever since. She has regular contact with her parents, who have since began renting a small apartment.

Tonin was given to an adoption center when he was a newborn, as neither of his parents wanted him. He was always a quiet and reclusive child, especially when he learned that most of his "siblings" in the center were only there because their parents died.

He was adopted by Zander when he was nine, though he never fully opened up to his family. He collects stuffed animals, mostly because he can't stand being alone.

Other: has several undiagnosed disorders, but won't tell his dad. His favorite stuffie is a five foot dragon he won at a fair.

When Amari was six her parents got into a fatal accident, which left her orphaned with no family left to take care of her.

She was quickly tossed to the first adoption center that would take her, and she was quickly forgotten by everyone except Zander. He was the one who saved her and brought her to a hospital, and ended up adopting her a year later.

Other: she was born with untreated Stahl's ears, her natural hair color is blonde, and she is the last resort baby sitter.
