you never had to like... live up to undertale, just you being you, a fellow fan of undertale doing your own thing, was plenty enough. whatever you do next, be it writing or art or whatever, do what makes you happy and that joy in itself is what will make it great!

((Hi. this is probably not want you all want to hear, but ive been thinking on it for a while and i think its for the best. I'm cancelling shared souls unfortunately.

but i really must thank you all for your kindness and for sticking with me for while it lasted! it truly was good fun. but while i COULD try to keep pushing to continue, i think for the benefit of my mental health and stuff, i should stop here.

more long winded explanation stuff under the cut cause im wordy and wanted to explain myself more, thank u for the ride :-)

so like. my reasoning is that the same level of passion isnt there anymore, which is One thing, but also It constantly felt like i wrote myself into a corner because not only did i not plan enough, i got WAYYY too ambitious, while also feeling so pressured by my perfectionism and feeling like it HAD to be good enough to '''live up to''' undertale.

also i figure, even if i stop this ask blog, it doesnt lock me out of ever doing utdr stuff ever again or anything? and cancelling this gives me more room to breathe it feels like.

i'll leave the blog here as an archive i guess, at least for now, but my main is still under the username 'pupbeat' if u still wanna see anything from me.

i think this was a good experience though, for a first public story type thing, even unfinished. askblogs r hard though lol

the story is up to you to tell and you can tell it however you want, however you are able. if nothing else we got incredibly far and its been a great journey, and seeing a froggit saying Z is a gift i shall treasure.

you don't need to answer asks if you don't want to or don't feel up to it. they can be rather chaotic. sometimes they say some interesting fun things or sometimes they kinda go off the rails. you can even write your own asks in order to have what needs to be said done and keep progress going (its not cheap or strange, don't worry).

((yeah this is all very true and i rlly appreciate i taking the time to send this, its reassuring and kind of u!! it can be hard sometimes to remember i dont rlly ‘owe’ anyone anything on this blog, im making MY story thing and if ppl r into it along the way thats rlly cool too but it doesnt mean im obligated to do anything in a certain way or keep things consistent the whole time. espexially not if my mental health is struggling sometimes

((been thinking abt this blog from time to time. i truly truly dont want to go back on my word of finishing this blog no matter what, especially after reiterating it so many times, but also i do think probably, at least in my current state, the way i was doing things is unsustainable for me?

im thinkinf maybe when i do come back i shoukd like. make Something easier on myself. not incorporate asks so much and make it more comicy, perhaps. or not have full colored with background images every time, maybe switch to a simple monochrome for most of the time? idk!

and once again i shall say i TRULLLLY TRULY TRULY appreciate the support. every time i do a post like this i Always get a nice comment saying for me to take it easy and stuff and i rlly am grateful. u all r the best
