OOCC #4 - Reverse Psychology

Theorizing here. 

Maybe I’m overthinking it (1) but her being a therapist is working against her. There’s the obvious overconfidence of being knowledgable about mental health but I think there’s a bigger issue at play. 

In the previous episode she called (2) in she was quick to shoot down Stav’s use of the 5 Stages of Grief claiming it to be “not backed by research/science” or something along those lines. I’m betting this isn’t the first time someone has used that mental framework to describe her situation but because she took Psych for 2-6 years she has that fact ready to go so that she doesn’t have to acknowledge it. 

She is proud of what she does. I believe this pride makes her fond of sharing her knowledge and academic discoveries.(3) Nothing that would break patient confidentiality I hope but rather data and research (4). Books on psychology she might be fascinated about or a new study she might be currently implementing with clients. That sort of thing. Sharing psychoanalytic fascinations is actually giving this guy a huge advantage to manipulate her emotionally. I wouldn’t be surprised if her ex actually planted the idea in her head that their breakup will disrupt their friend group. Might be a reach but I’ve seen the lengths manipulative people will go to.

OOCC #02 - Just S.T.F.U

A lot of comments are getting upset with the “Trump haters are his biggest recruiters” comment. This is exactly what Atrioc is talking about. 

People don’t realize how much credit they giving Trump by claiming what he is doing is calculated (1). This isn’t a plot to organize the uneducated to do his bidding. This isn’t deliberate chaos in order to distract us and use the presidency for something sinister. Trump just wants to make money. There is no plan. There is no goal. There is no mission. We dealt with this back in 2016. NOBODY. KNOWS. WHAT. THEY’RE. DOING! It’s all just a bunch of people with money and conflicting agendas trying to make more money. The American people have all been asking for the same thing in different ways: Transparency. Where are our taxes going? Why does the job market seem so frustrating? Why is feeding my family so expensive? Why not just take that which I want? Who’s right or wrong doesn't matter because the only people losing is us. The people. We don’t get to inside trade. We don’t get to make diplomatic ties with foreign leaders. We aren’t above the law. 

It’s ok to say “we’re fucked” because we are. Stop saying Trump wants to buy Greenland to put nukes there.Who gives a shit if he is? He’s fucking up every step of the way. Let his actions speak.

The sad reality is we have allowed incompetence to run rampant in this country. Everyone from our nations leaders to our managers. Laura Loomer still being around should be more than enough proof that Trump has literally nothing under control and that the circle he surrounds himself with is equally incompetent. 

I live in the Deep South. Down here they make effigies of Trump. They have buildings dedicated to him and you can go up and down highways and see guys peddling MAGA merch next to the guys selling watermelon. You’re not getting through to these people by trying to scare them with plausible theories of world ending consequences. Being born in the Bible Belt or the Midwest can literally mean game over from birth. You simply have no opportunities. You’re worried that the average American cannot read on a sixth grade level? We have Americans who cannot read at all.

Trump is not smart enough to organize the uneducated. He simply doesn’t care. Every time you say RFK Jr or Trump or JD have an agenda you are giving them more credit than they are worth. That credit goes a long way in convincing people that these guys are knowledgable and in control. 

I genuinely don’t care. We finally got Kirby Air Ride 2 and I probably can’t even afford it. It’s all fucked. Please just shut the fuck up. Let the MAGA idiots and the trolls who like to prop them up just yap.

If you consider yourself not part of that crowd. If you consider yourself an educated American. If you consider yourself a rational human being. Stop feeding into this polarizing culture we have developed over the last 2 decades. I don’t care how progressive you are you will never be on the right side of history by arguing with your brain dead MAGA uncle. You’re not protecting anybody blocking rush hour traffic with these sorry excuses for protests. Just shut the fuck up. Those idiots won’t and it will be their downfall. They will run out of steam if no one fuels the fire. They're old and fleeting. They will burn out. So just shut the fuck up. (2)

OOCC #01 - Take Care Fox

And here we are. April 2nd, 2025. 

I want to first start out by saying thank you. The amount of resources this class has opened up to me is truly unbelievable. 

I want to be an HVAC technician and in order to do so I need to be self-sufficient. I will not be able to get my Universal EPA 608 certification sitting in classrooms or hauling  metal scrap in [REDACTED].

This has motivated me to make the decision I am making today.

I am a college graduate with a BA in Communications and Media Marketing. I am a certified lifeguard with over a decade of rescue and first aid experience. I am the only Black man in my family who can swim at a competitive level. I say all this not as a brag but to cement my position as a man who can get things done in spite of the hurdles we as Black people must face in society. 

In the past few weeks I have become dissatisfied with the quality of class.

There seems to be a clear aversion (1) to other knowledgeable people being in your teaching space. In your attempt to stop us from misinforming one another you restricted our ability to communicate among our peers which is not only a fundamental part of education, but is also a necessity on the worksite for workers and supervisors alike. 

I was so excited when you assigned our groups by row. I had the assistance of four seasoned older gentlemen (2). However within a few days my group was a shadow of its former self. Keith and Prince refused to share their knowledge with the group going forward after you shut them down several times regardless if they were right or not. You isolated Noah from the rest of the group as he was struggling even though Brian, Chief, Keith (3) and I were all helping him get his bearings and feel more confident in both electrical and flooring. That’s what teammates are supposed to be there for. Last I checked, he is still on Circuit #1 and his receptacles are still upside down in their boxes. 

However, as you have probably surmised, my personal gripe with you stems from yesterday’s completely unacceptable meltdown at the very mention of Peavy giving me a note about where to place port caps when they’re off. Access ports are chapter 5 of the HVAC book. You told us you wanted us to be done and familiarized with everything that book had to offer at this point. Instead you grilled me about it in front of my peers because you didn’t like that I shared it as a safety tip. I apologize. I was unaware that port caps and cleaning up after yourself were such important information that only professors or administrative staff should be privy to it. 

So where does that leave us? 

My semester ended April 1, 2025. I will not be returning to class. I do not care about my grade.

I have completed my workbook in full but it is more valuable to me as a reference and a study guide than it is as a grade. I will not return to submit it. I completed the continuity tests between station S1 to station S11 with accompanying documentation. I have completed a circuit with a single pole switch. I have completed a circuit with a GFCI, a 4 way switch and 3 way switches. I was a major contributor to the flooring process in the tool shed. I also maintained a record of my group’s safety meetings. As for the hands-on HVAC experience and soldering practice? [REDACTED], where I live, is utilizing a split-system Trane XB 1000. The unit manufacture date is 2000 and it has R-22 flowing through it. Both the rating plate and pressure tests I have performed on the system confirm this. Along with the lengths of copper I saved up to buy specifically so I could practice my own soldering and brazing; (4) I have all the hands-on opportunities I need right here. 

[REDACTED] prices Peavy’s program at nearly 3 thousand dollars (5) for Core, Type I and Type 2 certification. That’s per semester without finaid or grants which I do not qualify for. The universal certification test I plan on taking costs about $85. This is not to disrespect Peavy or any of the blue collar programs offered by [REDACTED] but rather to show that I have done the research I need to make this decision. 

I will be an HVAC technician.

This class has given me the confidence to go out, hustle, study and become truly skilled. However, whether or not I can walk the walk will depend on me. Which means this class is no longer necessary. Is it a bit foolish to stop when the finish line is only a few weeks away? Absolutely. However regardless if I finish, withdraw, P/F or drop dead I still owe [REDACTED] money and my account is on hold until I pay. 

Your class is 16 hours a week that I cannot get back.

Unlike a job, where I am compensated for my time with currency, college compensates me with a GPA. I rather spend my time looking for work, taking care of my mother and grandmother, exercising, studying and assimilating into life living in [REDACTED]. I hope to have my firearm, hunting and fishing licenses before my 28th birthday. 

I want to thank Miss T for always keeping me in check so I didn’t fall into a cycle of complacency in class.

I want to thank Prince, Chief, Brian, Keith, Bert, Robert, Dante and of course you for helping me (6) understand basic carpentry.

I want to thank you personally for being a (7) professor who is passionate about his work.

Update 4/14/2025

Going forward this blog is going to be used for a prompt-type I'm calling Out of Context Comments (OOCC). This is where I will be archiving long winded comments or responses to comments I make on platforms like YouTube and Reddit.

About a year ago I decided I wanted to break away from being terminally online.

My problem was that I found myself being the guy in the comment section who is way too invested in having his opinion heard, sounding intelligent or playing Devil's advocate.

So to get started I began deleting comments.

First I would delete them after posting before the person had a chance to respond. Recently I have been typing out my responses and deleting them without even posting. The last few times I have done this I thought to myself "what a waste". So instead I want to put them here. So I can always have somewhere to look back and be like "damn I would have cooked bro" or "yikes, glad I didn't post that". However the main reason is time. I can spend up to half an hour crafting a monster paragraph over something insignificant. My record is two hours explaining to some glue eating troglodyte why Daedric Princes cannot be equated to demons from the Bible. Even if I am embarrassed about the time spent I still enjoy the process and so I do not want it to go to waste.

Most of this content will consist of political or cultural debates and Elder Scrolls debate surrounding lore, fan theories and OCs. However I do have some other things I get passionate about. I will always use pseudonyms or simply blackout any sensitive information that may be present such as names.

While I do encourage people to try and find the video or post I was about to comment on I will never promote online harassment or doxxing.

Welcomes feel contrived and overused so I’m just going to explain what this is.

baddest grammar is my attempt at getting out of my comfort zone. It’s a writing blog and my hopes are that these posts will help me become more open, more honest and more social. 

I invite all forms of feedback. At its most sincere. At its most critical. Even the troll shit. I want all the smoke. I want to get better in so many ways and I’m ready to admit that I need help doing it.
