The only Girl

What do you do when you feel different? When you feel like you don’t belong to this world which is full of ordinary people? What do you do when you feel extra ordinary?

I think. But I think not the way the world does. I want. But I don’t want what the world wants. I look and observe. I care and cherish. I enjoy and remember.

I sometimes wish I was not who I am. I sometimes find it difficult to fit into the conventional standards of the world. I am a normal girl yet it seems like I am the only girl.

No Red Roses

It was Valentine’s Day for some but for many it was just another regular day. Some received flowers, chocolates even kisses but many were just lying in their unmade beds, eating alone or even crying. I am not in favor neither do I disagree with this concept of celebrating your unconditional love on this red heart day. The truth is I can’t help to settle on one thing. If valentine’s day is about telling your partner how much you love him or her then shouldn’t you be doing this on daily basis? Do you really need a big red velvet cake or a week long vacation in Bahamas? A few expensive Lindt chocolates, a diamond ring, is this how you are going to show your love? And the most important thing is, why on a specific day? Don’t you think you should be expressing your love every day, every minute, every second?

Yes! do it! make him or her feel special every day. Turn off the alarm before she wakes up. Wake her up with a sweet kiss on her cheek. Make breakfast for him, do the eggs the way he likes. Drop her to the workplace and say that you love her and you will miss her the whole day. Text him if he is doing fine with his boss. Ask him if he had lunch or not. Get back home, wait for each other. Do something special for each other everyday. Bring something new to wear, to eat or to drink. Watch a movie together. Discuss you whole day. Tell him or her how much were they missed. In my opinion, this is love. This is everyday love. This is love with no red roses.

A New Beginning

Everyday is unique. Every minute, every second of your life is unique. No matter how alike your days feel, your boring little repetitive routine, If you look closely, millions of changes  can be observed. Your hair, your nails, your skin grows everyday. The color of the sky changes every second. You ride to work with different people everyday. Your food tastes different. Your mood is different. You are a different person everyday!!

So, don’t get stuck in a loop. Try to find new things, challenging tasks, give a shot to annoying and boring people around you - they might turn out to be your best friend. Try that berry flavored yogurt. Tie your hair in a new style today.  Tomorrow is a new day, this is a New Beginning.
