this week..

went downtown for saint patrick's day

went to trader joe's and grocery shopped

all of my homework done by sunday

went to therapy

at least 80 oz of water a day

played pirate yakuza in hawaii

this semester has been really hard with two asynchronous classes and two online zoom classes. i need to be in person too...ugh. i'm really trying.

studying at a nice cafe today :)

getting ready for classes to begin tomorrow! i'm so excited...gonna kick ass :")

this semester was really difficult emotionally, but i'm super proud of myself. after years of wanting to go back to school, here i am! i've managed to maintain a 4.0 GPA while working full time and it being my first semester back in school since i was 18. i'm really proud of myself...here's to the rest of my academic career!

hello i would like everyone to know that sometimes you can sob your eyes out and have an existential crisis one moment and then suddenly you're booking your driver's test and applying for jobs and crocheting a blanket and maybe life isn't so bad anymore!! maybe you can feel awful and fix your life anyway!! maybe you're allowed to be a wreck and still be good enough!! i am a full on adult and have avoided getting my license for years but now i'm finally doing it because i've grown around the fear!!!! the world didn't crash and burn when i was fifteen!! i did this for myself and i'm going to be okay!!

rewarding myself for studying so much this weekend with some yakuza 0 tomorrow after work/before class. i've been doing well.

the best thing you can do for your education is be kind to yourself

I hate ANY toxic/mean motivation so much. "You dont want to study because youre tired? Study tired." No? You a) wont learn anything (much probably) b)will give yourself a headache and you'll be dissapointed in yourself.

Especially: if you're sick, YOU DONT NEED TO LEARN. YOURE SICK, GET A TEA AND SLEEP. It can wait.

just because your best friend is long distance doesnt mean you can't study together! we have a shared notion calendar and a pretty great setup with discord and shared music.

also, have yall checked out the trader joe's candles for this fall? the honeycrisp apple one is so nice and helps me get into a studying mood.

don't forget to eat good meals and hydrate a lot when you study.
