"Since we can't break the rules, why don't we just bend them?"
Yeesh, I have so many mixed feelings about Ozpin sending Team RWBY to Mountain Glenn, especially given what we know of his methods and actions in hindsight. On one hand, he knows that the girls will probably sneak off to check out that area anyway, and what he does will ensure he can assign a proper huntsman to keep an eye on the four. On the other hand, he knows that the White Fang are most likely being backed by the enemy of mankind and queen of all Grimm, and one of her agents stole half of the Fall Maiden's power- and he's sending all of them in completely unaware of that. Bar the very vague 'Life outside the kingdoms is very hard' warning, he does nothing to prepare the girls for what they're going to get into, and it's VERY fortunate that Cinder was actually in Vale and not in Mountain Glenn like Torchwick was.
Also, appropos of nothing, this is the last interaction any member of Team RWBY has with Ozpin in the Beacon Arc. Make of that what you will.

Guys, it got so much freaking worse. KOSA is bad, but SCREEN is even worse, somehow.
"Sen. Mike Lee has introduced the SCREEN ACT, a bill that applies the "harmful to minors" standard used to ban LGBTQ+ books and resources in schools and libraries and apply it nationally to the internet.
Any site that has any amount of material "harmful to minors" would be forced to employ surveillance tech (biometric scans, ID uploads, background checks) to prevent minors from accessing "pornography."
You will not be surprised to learn that this is backed by the Heritage Foundation.
Unlike some of the state age-verification laws, many of which are being challenged in court, SC will be enforced by the FTC, which has the ability to levy fines, raid business and freeze bank accounts. Yes, meaning that even non-for-profits like Ao3 will suffer.
This is something for all US users to keep on their radar. Call your reps, call your senators, and spread the word to protect our archive!"
- When talking with Republicans play up the fact that this would force Elon to implement age verification systems on X (yes do call it X during the call). Elon's been threatening to primary Republicans who stand in his way so there's fear of him. Also play up concerns about "Liberals" doxxing people or Chinese hackers.
- When talking with Democrats, play up the connections to Project 2025 and suggest voters will not be happy to see Democrats siding with it.

"Dance Dance Infiltration" is one of my favorite RWBY episodes, and I think the reason that it is because it encapsulates everything there is about Beacon-era RWBY.
We've got heartfelt moments and soul-baring courtesy of the Jaune-Pyrrha and Jaune-Neptune talks...
Comic silliness from Jaune wearing a dress and JNPR's dance routine.
And of course, the violence and intrigue of Cinder ripping her way through Atlas soldiers, resulting in a encounter with Ruby Rose. (Also, Ruby not being able to fight very well because of her heels).
I'm sure I'm not the only one who enjoyed this episode either. When Volume 7 was first airing, there was a lot of clamor for an 'Atlas Ball'. However, by that point the series had moved on from high-school sit-commy antics. The kids at that point no longer blissfully unaware of the darker conspiracy happening in the background, but at the forefront of the fight against Evil.

I dunno about the rest of you, but until we get some official confirmation SOMEWHERE, I'm gonna assume Donkey Kong Bananza is just another sequel and not worry about timelines or canon or lore.

Cindy's meets Jimmy
(School science fair. Jimmy Neutron is working on something, and it goes 'crack!')
Jimmy: Oops!
(Libby grabs Cindy and pulls her off as the rest of the school evacuates, fast)
Cindy: Isn't this a bit extreme for a "Oops"?
Libby: After you've been here a while, you'll learn just how ominous one of Jimmy's 'oopses' can be. They tend to have a 'minimum safe distance.'

As shown in both "Jaundiced" and "Extracurricular" sparring matches at Beacon are one-on-one. However, the opening scene has Pyrrha schooling Team CRDL in a free-for-all. One wonders why Glynda let this happen. Did Cardin ask for his teammates to back him up, and Glynda figured he was so outmatched she okayed it, or did Pyrrha request it so she can give Cardin some extra-payback for what happened to Jaune?

I like how Torchwick quickly spotted Blake and Sun in the White Fang rally. Those masks probably made a good statement, but were trash at hiding identities.
