Hi, I'm desperately trying to find this taekook au so can you help me? The story goes like this: Taehyung is a gang leader and Jungkook is the son of the most powerful mafia. Jungkook is a kid and he gets lost and Taehyung finds him. Tae adopts Jungkook but after kook grows up, his father's mafia finds him and takes him back. By now, Kook is in love with Tae so he comes back again later and kidnaps Tae to marry him. Can you help me?

Ughhhh I got the idea of Shima Enaga familiar Jungkook and his witch Namjoon being wooed by the others in my head and now it won't leave me alone.

Shima Enaga Jungkook is incredibly soft and small as a familiar. A rare type and an indicator of how powerful Namjoon is. Namjoon owns a very popular magic shop.

Jungkook can often be found sleeping in the hood of Namjoon's hoodies or in pockets. He likes to nest in Namjoon's hair, little feet clinging to the strands as he watches everything. Namjoon puts up little rope ladders and netting around the store so Jungkook can climb his way up if he wants, ivy and branches happily reaching down to help the little bird if he finds himself stuck.

He can't fly well due to past injury. His right wing doesn't extend right anymore, the feathers look different than the rest of his body and if you look close enough you could see scars. He keeps the wing tucked in tight and uses the left for everything from keeping his balance to gesturing to things.

He likes to walk around the store. Little stick legs going full speed as he goes from one side to the other or doing little hops that makes everyone coo.

He peeps until people follow him if he knows they need help finding something, tugs on shoelaces when he wants to be picked up, and will carefully climb up shelved until he reaches what he wants. He even helps people check out sometimes, ignoring their surprise as he carefully shifts the coins around with his beak to count them before pushing them off behind the counter into a basket Namjoon leaves out for this exact reason.

He likes to be put in the window when it rains. One of the big windows up front has a little ledge full of trinkets and a woven basket stuffed with small, soft cuts of fabric. He sits there and watch the rain, occasionally chirping a greeting out to the people coming in.

Namjoon is an amazing witch, skilled and powerful enough to be of assistance for almost everything. Sometimes he loses customers though because of Jungkook, because he let his familiar get hurt. Even though familiars are notoriously protective and possessive, very likely to take injury instead of letting their witch risk it.

Namjoon 'should' have known better, aka should have been a better witch.

He doesn't argue with those people. Namjoon waited a long time to meet Jungkook and then he let the familiar get hurt. He's learning to live with that even though the guilt eats away at him sometimes. It wasn't his fault though and Jungkook will attack anyone who says otherwise.

The other 5 are customers. Quickly becoming enamored with the witch, their own magic curling out to brush against his every time they see him.

Jungkook isn't please when they flirt with Namjoon the first time, standing up from his spot in Namjoon's hair and working his way the front and peeping unhappily the whole time.. It doesn't help that they're all cooing over him while Namjoon looks done with everything. He pecks Taehyung when he can't help but reach out, little beak barely big enough to be a pinch.

They've never been side eyed by a bird before but Jungkook slowly warms up to them as time passes. Even letting them help him up or down from spots and eventually clinging to them like he does Namjoon. Sitting on Seokjin's shoulders, in the hood of Yoongi's jacket, in Taehyung's hair, the pockets of Hoseok's sweats and Jimin's hat.

If they plan on courting Namjoon than they also have to win over Jungkook, which wouldn't be an issue but Jungkook doesn't shift. Like ever. They've been visiting the shop for months and still have no idea what Jungkook looks like. Don't get them wrong, they adore the little bird but they want Namjoon to be a part of their cover, they want Jungkook to be a part of their coven.

Witches age differently than normal humans. Namjoon is older than some of them but far from actually being the oldest of their group. Jungkook is young, he hasn't even hit 50 years yet and now he'll live as long as Namjoon since they've bonded.

They could treat that as the main reason Namjoon is so protective of the familiar but there's more to it. A desperation to it that makes them protective of the two without knowing why and fretting over Jungkook almost as much as Namjoon.

It takes time but they get the story. They get told about a young Namjoon so happy to finally have a familiar and Jungkook so innocent and hopeful. Namjoon says they should have paid more attention. That he should have watched over Jungkook better, should have been better but he was young. Rare familiars are worth millions and Jungkook was very rare. They had already bonded but bonds could be broken and reformed. It was risky, more times than not the familiar dying from the stress but people were greedy and willing to risk it.

A group of people took Jungkook, they got close to Namjoon and once they thought they could get away with it they made their move. They tried to break the bond and it almost killed Jungkook. The whole thing ended better than it could have but it left Namjoon overly anxious and Jungkook with a lame wing.

The 5 take a moment to hope Namjoon was vengeful and everyone involved with hurting Jungkook was killed. Hurting a familiar is a huge and unforgivable crime, punishable by whatever the witch of said familiar deems fit.

It's easier to deal with the residual pain as a bird. The wound itself had healed but it left behind heavy scarring and lingering pain. The scaring on his human form was extensive and Jungkook got self conscious of it being so visible.

Namjoon's reluctance to fully let the others in and allow them to court he and Jungkook suddenly makes sense and they're even more determined to win the witch and his familiar over.

Eventually they get to meet Jungkook. Human Jungkook.

One day a young witch and their cat familiar visit the stop, neither one necessarily doing anything wrong but something is heavy in the air. The cat keeps watching Jungkook while the witch looks around. Jungkook sits on the edge of the counter overlooking everything, occasionally giving a little chirp in greeting when some of the younger ones walk by.

They should have done something, should have realized what was going to happen before it did but familiars aren't victims to their instincts. The cat should have acknowledged Jungkook as another familiar and moved on.. but it didn't.

The cat jumps up and just manages to swipe Jungkook with his paw. It's enough to pull him off the ledge. It's enough for a little blood to bead up on snow white feathers. It's enough that Jungkook tries to catch himself and everyone can clearly see one wing doesn't work right, doesn't help him slow down at all.

He hits the ground with a little thump and stays there.

No one even gets a chance to move before everything goes to hell.

The 5 manage to get everyone out quickly, snarling at the witch and the cat to never come back, and close the shop. Puddles soak into the floor and lightning still flashes up by the ceiling. Thunder rumbles a warning when they get close to Namjoon but settle back down into a soft hum. The shop is a mess, storms aren't meant to be contained in buildings after all, but that's not the pressing issue at hand.

Namjoon sits on floor, shaking and frantic as he stays hunched protectively over Jungkook. Big hands quivering but so careful as he brushes at the small beads of blood and carefully helps the familiar draw his wing back into its tucked position. He pulls Jungkook into his chest and curls up around him, breathing harshly and blinking back tears.

The next day someone else greets them at the store. He's incredibly pretty and quiet as he nervously tugs his oversized sweater over his hands. It takes them longer than they want to admit to realize who he is. And what a great example of magic at work because Jungkook is almost the exact opposite of his animal form.

They're smitten, especially after they get him to smile at them. Namjoon watches them like a hawk as they talk to him, more than ready to jump in and intervene if needed. Jungkook makes a small noise at him and noses at his neck briefly to get him to relax, Namjoon sinking into it and finally relaxing enough to enjoy all his favorite people together.

I would like to discuss Magic AU/mythical creature AU ft mermaid Jungkook. Soooo have some ramblings and ideas about mermaid Jungkook and some ot7 vibes ❤️

Bts has the unique issues of all being very rare, powerful, etc.

Seokjin is a dragon

Yoongi is phoenix

Hoseok is a kitsune

Namjoon is a vampire

Jimin is a witch

Taehyung is a werewolf

Jungkook is mermaid

Mermaids are rare and everything about them is otherworldly.

Most mermaids rarely venture too far from ocean depths due to how vulnerable they become. No one is even sure how many mermaids are out there due to the reclusive behavior.

Mermaid tears are pearls and worth a lot of money. Scales can be used in potions or crushed up in healing salves. Blood can add an extra layer of defense when added to curses.

Mermaids are pretty fucking terrifying but only in water. They're comparable to snakes with tails that are all muscle, powerful and quick.

They're not violent creatures but they're notorious for wrapping their tails around someone and drowning them, or using their tails for bone breaking hits when aggravated. Their scales are hard to cut or damage and once they get you in the water it's over.

On land they're pretty weak compared to the other creatures.

They can see well in the dark since they have to be able to see in deep and murky waters.

They've got small, sharp teeth. Nothing at all really when compared to some of the other mythical creatures but more than enough to take the scales off fish and get the meat between small bones or help defend themselves.

They tend to run cold, which is good while in deep waters but they can get cold easily on land.

Small amounts of water don't force a shift, it's based more on physical and emotional state. However sometimes water can make scales pop up where it hits skin. For example, standing out in the rain won't force a shift but scales will form on the legs. A full shift would only happen if it was desired or the mermaid was too exhausted to keep it from happening.

Switching back and forth takes time and energy.

Tails have to be let out occasionally or they dry out. Tails that aren't released or able to be in water every few days will becomes very painful. The scales crack and dry out, the muscles get stiff and tight, the skin under the scales will get infected and bleed. It can cause fever, weight loss, depression, infection, etc. Mermaids that don't take care of their tails properly run the risk of becoming emotionally or physically exhausted quicker and shifting unwillingly in an unsafe place or somewhere undesirable.

Mermaids are one of the magical species most often taken and sold as pets or worse.

~ Mermaid Jungkook ~

Jungkook is beautiful even before they get to see him shifted. Even before they knew what he was.

He keeps it pretty private, they didn't even know until everything he wanted them to know.

His tail is beautiful, strong and honestly bigger than they had imagined. It's a mix of watercolors in dark green and deep blues that make them think of old paintings of the the sea. There are brushings of gold dust here and there, some of the scales even completely golden.

Most scales are on his tail but sometimes they form on his pulse points when he's in unfamiliar waters or anxious. The best though is when they get him to blush when he's got his tail out, pink and peach scales blooming on his cheeks before disappearing right after as he darts under the water.

Seokjin is very clear that all of the pearls from Jungkook's tears are his. He's actually pretty vicious about making sure he gets them all, smoke curling out of his mouth and sharp teeth peaking out if he thinks someone is trying to take one. Tears are important to mermaids, almost like a part of themselves. Jungkook cries a lot but that doesn't make the tears any less special and knowing Seokjin has them all tucked away is a huge comfort.

Hoseok tucks Jungkook under his arm when he starts showing signs of getting chilled. He loves to nuzzle the mermaid until he's warm and his muscles have relaxed again. If they're somewhere with room than Hoseok will let his tails out and keep Jungkook wrapped up in them. He hates getting his fur wet but sometimes Jungkook gets out of the water and Hoseok can't say no to him, using his tails to help dry off the scales until it's warm skin again.

Taehyung is the one most likely to get into the water with Jungkook, human or shifted, to get out any extra energy. Werewolves and mermaids are both heavy influenced by the moon so some nights Taehyung will go back and forth between running the forest and avoiding Jungkook's splashes when he gets close enough. They always end up exhausted and curled up somewhere together by the time the sun rises.

Jimin learns to spell any water to salt water. While Jungkook can swim in fresh water or very briefly splash around in some chemical treated waters, salt water is best. Jungkook loves to get Jimin in the water with him, strong tail holding both of them up while Jimin clings to Jungkook as he darts around. He also charms one of Jungkook's earrings to let them know if it's been too long since he's shifted.

Namjoon indulges Jungkook when he gets the urge to swim at night, none of them comfortable with their youngest going out alone. He gets used to the careful poking that wakes him up and big eyes pleading with him for just a few minutes please hyung? He likes the way the water looks in the dark and how quiet Jungkook can be when he wants, soundless through the water. It's their time and as soon as Jungkook is done he'll settle in Namjoon's lap still soaking wet and practically purr in affection.

Yoongi likes to help with his scales, making sure they're all healthy and strong. He soothes any broken ones or painful spots from where Jungkook wasn't able to shift for awhile. In return, Jungkook loves to comb through Yoongi's feather, carefully preening them and just running his hands through them. He's warm in a way that's different than Hoseok, more of a soothing warmth than an active heat but Jungkook loves to curl up with him too.

Mermaids have lots of accomodations they need to be healthy and flourish. The others never give him any reason to feel guilty but he knows that sometimes it causes a lot of inconvenience. It becomes nonegotiable though after they found him curled up in a too small shower crying and tail a painful mess where laid limply across the floor. It was a combination of Jungkook keep quiet too long on what he needs and most people not being knowledgeable on what mermaids need to thrive. It's not a mistake they make again.

He always makes sure to cry his prettiest tears for Seokjin, happy tears always shine the brightest and he drops them right in Seokjin's lap. If he sheds one of his gold scales and it's in good shape he gives it to him as well. They're all kept in a small box and still smell like salt when Seokjin carefully goes through them to make sure they're all there.

Every lost scale, that's not gold because those are Seokjin's, goes to Jimin. Mermaid scales are rare and powerful when in the hands of the right witch, a great base for potions or ground up to be mixed into healing salve. Mermaid blood is also incredibly rare but Jimin doesn't like to keep that on hand, occasionally though Jungkook can save some and give it to him though. Jimin would never ask for any of it but he's always grateful and makes to let Jungkook know where everything went and what it was used for.

Namjoon is endless with his questions and Jungkook likes to sit down and answer everything he can. Every magical creature has blood that tastes slightly different, can provide different things when a vampire drinks it but mermaid blood is one of the sweeter ones. Jungkook is always happy to bare his neck or wrist when Namjoon gets a little too pale.

Jungkook doesn't have any siren blood in him but he's more than happy to help Hoseok lure in people for his tricks. Mermaids aren't usually associated with malicious behavior or elaborate tricks but Hoseok's tails burn a little hotter everytime he gets Jungkook to join in and that alone is worth it. Hoseok nips at him with big, sharp fangs and Jungkook playfuly returns it with the small, sharp teeth of a mermaid. He lets the fox soothe over the mark with his tongue in warm swipes, the faintest taste of blood passed between them when they kiss.

Taehyung is a great hunter when shifted and loves a good chase but Jungkook likes to spoil him by tossing fish to him when he can. Taehyung howls happily each time, shape teeth cracking through meat and bone easily. Werewolves are big on scent and mermaids aren't necessarily as in tune to itbut Jungkook has a good nose and is more than happy to indulge the wolf in cozy scent marking sessions that smell like earth and sea.

Yoongi has periods of times where he sleeps for days. The modern phoenix doesn't burn to ash anymore, most just need a period of time where they can basically hibernate and recover without going through the whole process of rebirth. Jungkook likes to sleep with him, his own instincts getting sleepy in the dark, cool room Yoongi uses for those days. The sea has deep, dark, cool places where less energy used is best and Jungkook doesn't need to sleep for days the same way Yoongi does but it's nice. Yoongi loves to wake up with someone, happy trills as he nudges Jungkook awake next to him, occasionally the phoenix letting his wings out to cover them up like their own world.

Persephone Jungkook is a severely underrated AU and I greatly desire to see more of it.

He fits it so well. He's a fantastic mix of cheerful and bright like spring, and quiet and dark like the underworld. There's so many ways you could do it too.

This idea will roll with **OT7 **because that's my favorite.

So say we have rulers of the underworld OT6 (Seokjin, Yoongi, Namjoon, Hoseok, Jimin, Taehyung) doing their thing, all of the sudden Jungkook comes tumbling into the underworld unexpectedly.

And okay... OT6 is not 100% sure what to do with the adorable thing now wondering around the underworld. He seems content, if not a little confused, and explores with curious eyes.

This should have been over pretty quick honestly, they don't need a stranger wondering around and it's clear he's not mortal or on a quest. The problem arises when they're told to give him back by some of the other gods. Told. Given an order. And that's not how that works, they don't roll over for anyone especially not with issues that involve their domain. They are gods as well and will be treated as such.

The argument with the other gods also comes with the knowledge that the pretty thing running around the underworld isn't a random nymph or some favored hero, it's a god. The spring god.

So in a mix of spite and curiosity, they tell the other gods to fuck off and with that the spring god is staying in the underworld for now.

Once Jungkook starts talking to them, they're goners. People have trouble truly understanding the underworld and death. As the god of spring, however, very few understand as well as Jungkook does the need for death in order for life to flourish. The need for rotten autumn leaves to nurish the soil for new life and the meat of a dead animal providing food for a young kit or cub in the early spring. Everything has a time, a season, a life. Death is a part of that cycle.

Jungkook's endlessly beautiful and gentle. He has them understanding all the wars fought and the sacrifices made for the affection of one person because they'd take on every god or goddess for him if needed.

The lines of Jungkook's palms are faint gold and all the night flowers and cypress trees lean towards him when he walks by. He likes to brush against them is greeting and they bloom in happiness, a trail of white following him in night blooming jasmine, casa blanca lilies, and brugmansia.

Grape vines curling through his ears like threaded earrings, in and out several times before ending in a soft budding leaf. There's the lightest dusting of pollen on his cheeks and shoulders, soft gold that occasionally smear in gold lines like brush strokes. Dark ink curls and loops in olive branches, spring blooms, and wheat that should look harsh but are instead a stunning contrast to warm tones of his skin. Pomegranates stain his lips red and the shadows make his lashes cast long, pretty lines on his cheeks.

OT6 is timeless and powerful.

Taehyung has veins that pulse black at random across his skin like flashes of dark roots before they disappear again. He speak like a siren when he wants something and the smell of heavy salt water clings to him when he's angry. He is the darkest and coldest parts of the sea.

Yoongi exhales smoke and lightning when he's furious, wears silver jewelry, and has eyes slitted like a cat. He moves like something wild and deadly, soundless in his movements and quick to strike. He is feral and instinctive in his affection and his anger.

Seokjin moves like rolling thunder, heavy and encompassing in all he does. Everything about him dark and vast, the screaming souls quiet when he walks by and the shadows roll at his feet like wolves greeting their master. The oldest parts of the underworld call him child and bloom moonflowers in devotion.

Namjoon wears grey like woven smoke, stark white jewelry that gleams like bone, and ash dusting his skin. He passes judgement like swinging a blade and there's a feather stained in ink woven in his hair. His eyes are timeless and there's an echo of past prophets in his voice.

Hoseok smiles too wide, displaying too many teeth, something a little sadistic and cruel in his eyes at times. He burns, radiates heat and energy, a small supernova in a black hole. He swallows stars and the fire burns in his blood until he bleeds black. The air cradles him in devotion and he moves wherever he wants in a wicked breeze.

Jimin is like sin, with desire and violence in most of his actions. The hem of his clothing are stained with stars and blood. His nails are sharp blades and he's gentle when brushing them against cheeks before he slits throats. He's passion and wrath, love so strong it hurts and wrath that rains hell down anyone who wrongs him.

They're all absolutely smitten and so soft for Jungkook.

And like Persephone stepped into her role as goddess of spring and the underworld, Jungkook does as well.

The underworld takes to him with ease. The gold on his body burns molten now instead of the light color it once was and the ink on his skin gets darker. Ivy, hemlock, and thorns trees welcome him now just like the night flowers and cypress trees. He's a voice of gentle justice at their sides but has a vicious temper when angered.

They hold him close in affection and he smells of spring blooms dropped on hot pavement.

I like to consider my stuff sort of like detailed summaries that I hope someone will come along and write an actual fic for because I'm really not the best at that. So I'm thrilled people like them and I'm always up to toss around ideas or ramble about prompts :)

How about magic AU with hybrids as familiars? They have the potential to have a partial shift (tail, ears, etc) and a full shift (animal form).

There's a lot of stereotyping in the familiar hybrid industry even though people don't like to admit it

The worst, surprisingly, is black cat hybrids. They're the least adopted because they're considered an old trend. Modern witches prefer to have modern and unique familiars, they don't want something their grandparents had.

So the shelter Yoongi volunteers at sees a lot of those types. Abandoned or found in horrible conditions. It doesn't get easier. Witches don't necessarily need a familiar but familiars need witches. Unclaimed familiars are prone to getting sick and eventually dying, their magic not having something to latch onto or flourish under. Most familiars will shift to their full animal form and get stuck like that until they get claimed or eventually die.

He's got a soft spot for the newest black cat hybrid though. Jungkook's the sweetest thing Yoongi's ever had the pleasure of taking care of. And he's pretty in either form. He's got a wonderful temperament and is shy but friendly.

He was a drop off. The old women who had raised him from a kitten died and the family didn't have any interest in keeping him. The children and grandchildren already had familiars of their own. No one needed Jungkook.

He lights up each time a family walks by, ears perked up and tail curling up in greeting but they always walk past him. He tries everything, he shifts into his cat form and tries to look cute, into his partial shift and tries to look powerful. He hardly gets a second glance once they see his black ears and tail.

Yoongi makes it a part of his routine to sit with the hybrid, sometimes he's completely shifted and sometimes it's the usual partial shift. The hybrid loves to sprawl out over Yoongi's lap, a thunderous purr leaving him when Yoongi pets his ears. The poor thing is touch starved and he's not social compared to some of the hybrids, but he does love to spend time with a few special people. He likes to tell Yoongi about the old women he lived with. How she specialized in healing and he provided comfort for everyone from children who came in with skinned knees to adults recovering from surgeries. The women worked out of her home and he played in the garden chasing bugs and nibbling on the flowers. He could pick out herbs and bring them to her when she couldn't get around so well, actually became very good at preforming healing spells himself as she got weaker.

Yoongi knows the others are getting suspicious, he's started packing more for lunch, giving Jungkook part of his as a treat, something different from the boring shelter food. It's like cafeteria food, and Yoongi doesn't like to eat it at all let alone 3 times every day.

The problem comes after a few months after Jungkook gets dropped off. Yoongi comes to sit with him for their usual lunch but Jungkook doesn't greet him like usual. He's a black circle in his little cat bed, barely lifting up his head before dropping it back down and going still. He tries to coax the cat out but he doesn't have luck. He eventually just picks him up, a brief protest in the form of an unhappy meow and a body that's limp like a noodle, to hold him in his lap. He settles back down and Yoongi spends the rest of his lunch break with fear running through him. The familiar specialist gives him a look of pity when he hopefully asks if maybe Jungkook is just normal sick instead of the sickness that takes unclaimed familiars.

And Yoongi isn't sure how to bring it up even though he desperately wants to bring the hybrid home. They don't have a familiar, haven't needed one or even discussed it. They're powerful on their own, but he knows they'd love Jungkook. He's terrified each day he comes in that he'll find Jungkook's little room empty or be pulled aside to be informed of the familiar passing on.

The little cat is dying, they all know it. Dying from being unclaimed and from a broken heart. He doesn't even get up to greet anyone anymore. His food and water reminds untouched and he struggles to get up when they coax him, body stiff and sore.

He finally tells the others when Jungkook doesn't get up at all anymore, quiet and fading away. He sits down and tells them everything about the familiar, how sweet he was and how beautiful he was in both forms. He tells them about the old lady Jungkook lived with and how he ended up in the shelter. He knows they've never discussed a familiar and getting a familiar as a coven is much different than getting one as a solitary witch, but he can't just sit and wait for Jungkook to die.

They're horrified, of course, Yoongi keeps a lot of the details from the shelter to himself, knowing it can be distressing and upsetting. Everyone knows about familiars and how they need a witch but most people don't really understand, they don't know how quickly it happens or have to watch it happen.

Hearing Yoongi talk about it, his experience and how upset he is, it's an easy decision to meet Jungkook. They all hope that they'll feel a connection and be able to save the little familiar.

Jungkook hasn't moved by the time Yoongi comes in the next day, 5 curious men trailing behind him taking everything in. They immediately coo at Jungkook and Yoongi knows it's not just for his benefit, Jungkook is a beautiful shade of black with blue undertones that make his color look especially inky. He's got a fluffy tail and soft ears, one has a notch taken from it that adds to the charm. He's got gold eyes when they're open, and a soft meow, no noise leaves him now though and his eyes are closed.

He's pretty but it's more than that. His magic curls up and around their own in soft tones like distant piano music. It's weak but pleasant, curiously poking at the coven bond before feeling out their individual bonds.

He knows they're all pleasantly surprised with how easy their magic is reacting to the familiar. They had been hopeful but he also knew they were trying not to get anyone's hopes up too much.

Jimin has carefully picked up the cat and was holding him in his arms, cooing at him and the others taking turns talking to and petting Jungkook.

There's a little purr that manages to be heard and it's the most life Yoongi has seen from the familiar in days. It's like a weight taken off his chest and he feels almost lightheaded with relief.

They don't take him home that day. And it's hard to watch Jungkook wilt as they leave, the small life that had perked up in him slowly disappearing again, sitting in a little loaf by the door like he's going to wait for them to come back. They don't want to get his hopes up if they can't adopt him for some reason, if the familiar isn't able to come home with them.

There's no problem thankfully and they take him home the next day, house already packed with familiar care items. They carefully put Jungkook in a little cat carrier, it's got space for him to stretch out if he wants and is padded with the softest blankets they could find. He's a little more perky this morning, magic curling around to greet them happily again. It will take awhile for him to recover completely but the bond should start forming soon and he's start to feel better quickly after that.

It takes a few days before he starts getting more energy, magic taking on a healthy glow. They hadn't realized how much of a difference having a familiar would make for them as a coven. It feels like taking a breath of clean air for the first time in years.

Jungkook's very happy once he starts to feel better, he likes to wander around the house and explore. Sometime he has to cry to get their attention because he gets stuck somewhere or gets hit with a wave of exhaustion and wants them to come get him. He especially loves the big windows that look out over the garden and into the woods. He presses little front paws against the window and watches everything with big eyes, ear twitching and tail flicking.

A few weeks after they bring Jungkook home, they wake up to him sitting in front of the window in his partial shift form. He's all gold in the morning light, black fur looking like it was edged in blue along his ears and tail. He's a little shy once he notices them, ears laying back slightly and tail dropping down instead of the happy curl it had been. He's full of happiness and sweet purrs when they fumble over introducing themselves to him, person to person instead of person to familiar. Jungkook is all smiles at their awkwardness and Yoongi rolls his eyes and reminds them Jungkook was still himself as a cat, they don't need to introduce themselves.

Jungkook easily has them all wrapped around his finger and he doesn't have any idea.

He seems to be one of the familiars that likes to be full shift and he does spend most of the day on 4 paws but that slowly changes as they settle into their routine. He spends more and more time in his partial shift until it's a majority of the time.

They have a small shop where they sell Seokjin's baked goods full of good intentions and teas mixed with magic flowers, Namjoon's potions for everything from healing to hair color and carefully polished crystals, Hoseok's plants in bright planters and dried herbs in pretty bags, Taehyung's paintings spelled to move and enchanted journals, and Jimin's illusions in jars as nightlights for children and charmed jewelry.

Jungkook likes to be in the shop with them while they're open. He still shifts to a cat when customers stop by or friends visit. They've gotten a few comments on the black cat that now frequents the shop, a few expressing surprise at such a unique and modern coven settling on such an old type of familiar.

Jungkook always droops, tail dropping and slinking away like he's embarrassed.

They correct the ones who are simply curious and the ones who say it with cruelty, who look at Jungkook like they'd rather see him on the street, are not allowed back.

Their regulars come to absolutely adore the familiar though, he rapidly gains a loyal following amoung their customers and they even bring him little gifts when they come by.

He gets a toy mouse that will never get lost

A box of healthy treats that will keep refilling

A cat bed that adjusts to the temperature so it's always perfect

Most of the regulars eventually get the honor of meeting Jungkook in partial shift too. He gets just as much love as when he's in full shift and the old women who visit love to pinch his cheeks. The coven gets the absolute pleasure of being able to call Jungkook their familiar and Jungkook is spoiled rotten.

One day a regular brings in their grandchild, a small thing with a little black kitten carefully held in her arms. Jungkook is shifted and across the room in seconds, purring and chirping at the kitten and rubbing against the little girl's legs in affection.

The regular tells them that the little girl thought Jungkook was the prettiest familiar she'd ever seen and she wanted a black cat too. The first shelter they'd gone to had the little kitten and they had bonded instantly.

All the magic in the shop purrs in happiness.

Let's imagine a world where humans and magical creatures live together except magical creatures are super paranoid around humans because they're so squishy? Like ohmygosh they're so easy to break wtf how have they survived this long they just watched one cut their finger on a piece of paper

Magical creatures and humans interact and get along but there's tension between them. So when OT6 (Namjoon, Seokjin, Yoongi, Hoseok, Jimin, Taehyung) get a human roommate for whatever reason fits the idea in your head they have no idea what to do. And they aren't necessarily against humans but none of them have any experience with one. They're worried of hurting it and wary of it causing trouble.

The human is adorable though, with big eyes and a gentle demeanor. He had indicated no preference for human or magical when he was filling out his forms, which explains how he ended up with them.

Magical creatures are usually close, an understanding for each other and a desire for packs/covens/groups or whatever you want to call them that humans don't always understand. So OT6 shares a room.

It's huge with a massive bed full of comfort items. Magic books with bent corners marking a spot about half way through, sparkling jewelry with beautiful stones, a variety of oils for fur and wing care on the shelves, heavy light blocking curtains, and other items here and there to hint that the room belongs to someone magical.

Jungkook's room is small but he seems please with it and excited to decorate. So they're not sure what to do when they wake up in the middle of the night, their magic whispering that the human is at their bedroom door.

They aren't familiar with humans enough to realize how chilled their home was. They didn't know how cold it was for Jungkook until the poor thing was miserable and shaking at their door. Taehyung is the the one who finally makes a move to do something and guides the shivering human to their bed.

Humans know that nests/dens/hoards/etc are special but Jungkook climbs in easily. They expected him to hold himself away from them, to be anxious of being in their domain and at their mercy. He just curls up right into them though, cold skin pressed into theirs and hands grabbing onto whatever he could like he was scared they were going to leave. He doesn't flinch when they get close to his throat or bare skin and even presses into the attention.

He's so soft.

Most magical creatures are similar to humans in several ways but things like body temp, texture, etc are different. It's like holding something incredibly fragile and important, holding something human was a joy they hadn't realized they were deprived of. It's an immediate and possessive affection that blooms in their belly for the human curled up with them.

Most humans get nervous around them, always flinch back or try to avoid touch. Jungkook never flinches back from them, never has a skip in his heart beat or the scent of fear on him when he's around them, even when they're moody. He clings to them and climbs them, he lets them at his throat with ease and doesn't blink when they ask for something they know doesn't make sense to him but is important to them. Like when he rubs his cheek against theirs with a clumsy motion because he knows that's how they scent. It's adorable.

The confusion and fear of hurting on accident is still strong on both sides though. It takes a lot of patience and talking to figure each other out.

Jungkook gets use to the scenting and the spells. To the shifting and the blood. To the quirks and oddities. He even offers his wrist and neck when they get hungry or need blood, even though they almost shit a brick the first time it happened.

In return, they absorb everything they can about humans, specifically their human. The way he smells when he's sad, how he clings when he gets nervous, his blood type, favorite foods, that he loves naps, how much attention he can take before he gets overwhelmed, what temperature he starts to get cold or hot, etc.

And it's a lot of work, humans are very hard to take care of. But a happy human is so sweet and their human is the sweetest, they want to keep him happy all the time.

He looks healthy, taken care of, and it makes them puff their chests out at the proof of how well they can provide and care for their human. He's claimed and it's obvious to any creature that sees him but the humans can't see as easily.

They don't see the pin prick silver scars, basically invisible to their eyes, that mark him as someone very important to an elder vampire.

They don't see the two rings of scars as claims carefully bitten into his skin from an adoring werewolf and a sleepy hellhound.

They don't know about the runes traced on his skin that say protection and home and luck formed from the hand of a brilliant witch.

They can't tell the beautiful jewelry he wears is gifted from a possessive dragon.

They don't know the gold sprinkled on his skin isn't makeup and is actually dust from a playful fae.

Human can't see how he wears their claim, burns with their magic and affection. Humans don't know how old they really are, can't grasp how they could do anything they wanted and very very few would be able to do anything against them. Magical creatures understand though. They know that the world will burn if any harm comes to the human.

Everyone gets a thread on their finger when they get their dynamic, a throw back to the red string of fate idea but with the colors of their own personal dynamic. It indicates what dynamic someone is and everyone gets a thin line of black, silver or copper around their pinky.

One by one, Seokjin, Namjoon, Yoongi, Hoseok, Jimin, and Taehyung get their marks. Black and silver start to become their main colors in photo shoots, the stylist playing off the dynamics to appeal to their fans.

Jungkook stays bare for longer, people constantly speculating on what color will ink on his skin.

They start getting bands for each other. Seokjin and Taehyung with 5 silver bands on their arms, beautiful and almost chrome in color.

Namjoon, Yoongi, Hoseok, and Jimin all possessing 5 black bands, heavy and so dark they absorb the light.

Their bond won't recognize Jungkook since he isn't presented, and it causes tension occasionally. Especially when particularly vicious fans or interviewers ask how it feels to be the only one unclaimed. How it feels to be so clearly not a part of something so important?

Jungkook gets in the habit of rubbing the spot where his mark will come in, the skin raw and sore until they get him cornered long enough to get his finger wrapped.

It shouldn't be a surprise when Jungkook comes in one morning, rubbing at his eyes and mumbling about how it was too early, gleaming copper on his finger.

It shouldn't have been but it is.

It takes them awhile to process it because they hadn't really thought of Jungkook being a submissive. They're all ashamed to admit it but he always seems big in the way dominants are, easy going like a switch...

Everything is normal on stage, during shows and everything else. They cling to each other and smile like they're having the time of their lives and as soon as they're alone they're on opposite sides of the room.

It starts to get to the point where it's annoying, they start to get resentful and think that Jungkook is acting like a brat and causing problems.

He withdrawals further each time they all skip asking him to go out for dinner or join them for movie night. It's easier for everyone that way.

They get so good at avoiding each other that they don't notice when things take a turn for the worse. When their youngest stops eating and sleeping, when the stylists work longer to cover up the bruises under his eyes and try to fit him with clothes that make it look like he hasn't lost weight. He sleeps whenever they have time, curled up in chairs and sometimes even on the floor.

Until one morning, he doesn't get up. They had taken to simply yelling through the door at him to get up, not making the connection that he was getting up easier because he wasn't sleeping, but after several minutes the door was still closed and the room silent.

They find him curled up under a big pile of blankets even though it's summer, and silent, not even his normal soft snoring. For a terrifying moment they think he's dead. The slow rise and fall of his chest and the barest movements of his lashes easing those fears just barely.

He's freezing when they touch him, cheeks and nose cold when they cup his face and his fingers pale and chilled when they grab his hand. The bruises under his eyes look especially dark and his face isn't as full as it usually is. His head lolls back when he carefully tug him up so they can slide in around him, completely limp and pliant as they arange him.

They're scared and they call management in a frantic rush of words and someone is sent over.

It's quiet while they wait, just little comforts whispered to Jungkook that he isn't awake to hear. Their youngest is pale and still in their arms and they couldn't remember the last time they'd held him or even touched him.

They get a stern talking to after Jungkook gets checked out. Management having sent over someone private and skilled to check on him, the doctor comes out of the bedroom with a closed off look and a strict lecture. The only reason it wasn't harsher was due to how shaken the group was.

They got a crash course on a crashing submissive and a harsh talking to that they'll never forget.

The doctor leaves Jungkook with them, promising they'll be back to check up on him and they don't need to say what will happen if there's no change made.

He doesn't do much other than blink slowly at the wall in front of him from where he's on his side, eyes unfocused before he closes them again but this time it seems more like sleep than a drop.

He gets better like recovering from a sickness. He sleeps a lot and tires easily, doesn't have much of an appetite, etc.

They start figuring out what works best for them, how to ease them into this after so much unintentional hurt and confusion on both sides.

Hoseok puts a hand on his throat and just the lightest pressure. A reminder that he could squeeze harder if he wanted. The pulse under his fingers slowing down until it's soft again and he can press a kiss against Jungkook's cheek before letting go. Sometime he gets the younger caged in against the wall, pressing close and heavy until Jungkook is relaxed enough he almost slides down to the floor

Seokjin making snacks to feed him by hand. The slow and steady pace keeping Jungkook aware but relaxed enough to let Seokjin worry about things. The older enjoys finding new foods to try, gets a warm pulse of satisfaction and more when Jungkook blinks at him with hazy eyes and clumsy bite where he ends up sucking more on Seokjin's fingers than actually eating.

Namjoon takes naps with him, spooning in a way where Jungkook is more pressed down with Namjoon on top of him than anything else. The heavy and warm weight coaxing him to sleep and the anxieties of the day don't seem so bad with Namjoon covering him completely. It's an addicting feeling for Namjoon, Jungkook pinned under him safe and his. The way he's breathing, the way his muscles go lax, the shiver that rolls up his back when Namjoon puts more weight on him.

Yoongi having him sit or kneel quietly while he works in his studio. Shushing any noises and wiggling with a stern look until Jungkook's head is quiet and he's only thinking about being good. Eventually he ends up resting his head on Yoongi's thigh and pressing up into the hand that starts petting him. He just feels better hidden under the desk and closed in on all sides except the one where Yoongi's legs go. It's safe and dark and the best part is when Yoongi is done with what he's doing and coaxes Jungkook out into his lap.

Jimin likes to practice his makeup on him, has him lay still and be good in a way similar to Yoongi. Jimin uses soft brushes against his skin and confident hands moving his head where it needs to be. Little praises here and there about how pretty he looks, like their own doll, making everything fuzzy around the edges when he opens his eyes. Jimin straddles the thin line between too much and no enough. He likes to say things about keeping him just for them, all pretty and available, how he'd be so happy like that. He always hushes the little noises Jungkook makes when it starts getting to be too much and backs off, he soothes it with kisses and how they could never do anything to make him unhappy.

Taehyung puts him in their clothes and makes him ask for what he wants. Sometimes reading or going through social media while Jungkook forces himself to verbally ask for what he wants or needs, then pulling him close and giving it to him. Usually praise or comfort, touch or pets, somewhere he can feel small and safe in a world that feels too big. By the end of it Jungkook is usually a little needy, sometimes nonverbal and tugs at shirts and hands for attention. He puts his face in their shoulders when they gently tease him and chews on his fingernails. It's a great way to get Seokjin to allow snacks, bringing back cut fruit and other little treats for Jungkook to nibble on.

It takes a while, a lot of negotiation and discussion, before it all finally click but when it does it's beautiful.

Almost as beautiful as the day Jungkook walks out on stage with a 6 thread width copper bond mark around his neck and how breathtaking it shines in the lights.
