Announcing Cross-fandom Comment Bingo Fest!

Welcome to the first edition of this cross-fandom Comment Bingo Fest! As members of fandom, we know that creatives such as ficwriters and fanartists are hard at work in the winter season. Many communities are involved in Christmas or other holiday fests for the end of the year!

As 2024 comes to an end, we want to emphasize the importance of fandom spirit and support for the influx of creative works we receive across platforms (including AO3, Tumblr, Twitter, Bluesky, etc.).

For the month of December (and beyond, if you so choose), feel free to use our Bingo card to shower your favorite creators–whether they are artists, writers, podficcers, or editors–with love and support.

START “Smart. I approve. But in all seriousness, this is attracting a lot of natural energies,” Charlus said while tucking himself against Dorea. “So long as Harry keeps the runes tattoos undamaged and doesn’t skip through a field of magic or soul-snatching creatures at the same time, I’m confident his insides will stay…. Well, inside.”

“I wouldn’t be surprised if a dementor tried to hump your leg. Finally, a companion for Harry to—” Dorea stopped short and laughed at the scathing glare Harry shot her. “Does my nephew know about this,” Dorea asked, changing the topic.

“Alphard found the artist.”

Harry took off his pants and put on the black slacks, letting Charlus tie the ankle bands and making sure all the opals were properly fixed into the leather. “He wasn’t happy about it, but he figured if I was going to do something like this, it should be someone up to Black-Standard.”

“If you’re sure,” Euphemia said, tying off the leather wrist bands and handing Harry a pair of cuff earrings to put on.

“What’s done is done,” Harry said, fixing the flower crown on his head and grabbing the two in his bag Bartemius had handed to him at the ministry.

Peeking into the box, Harry could now see they were made of dark pink heather, well-made and fresh in their blooming season. Brushing a pinky along the flowers, Harry smiled. For hundreds of years, the Crouches oversaw the magic vortexes on the crossroads along the Northern stretch of Offa’s Dyke near where they lived in Selattyn, Shropshire. People there rarely had dark hearts, and Harry liked to think that underneath Bartemius’ ministry bluster was a pure Selattyn country boy.
