litrally so haunted by the adeen character in cr2 because the main scene with him is so harrowing (he gets so confused, obviously mind controlled from mighty nein's pov, that he hits his head on the prison wall to knock himself out) , the whole thing with essek altering his memory is so crazy and scary and then he's just handed over as a political prisoner to the empire and never seen again . like .......... 😐. and like what does caleb think of that? he has so much trauma from having his memory and thoughts altered too. like i know he doesnt trust essek after they find out he was lying to them all and putting them in danger but like i want to know how he reckons with that and idk if it was ever brought up on talks machina or not. also my 1 fear for mn animated is there being some sort of thing adeen did that somehow might 'justify' what essek does to him, like the implication of essek thinking he isnt very nice would ever justify it. 1 fear </3

during this conversation caduceus comes downstairs due to it being half 5 and therefor his time to start working on dinner and he arranges all his cooking things as per usual and beaus like omg evidence

watched ep27 bc of nein again and got onto ep28 and the description of the grove is so fantastic i love the detail given but also oh my god caduceus was alone in a fucking acid trip for 8 years . description includes: 3 layers of concentric fences that surround the graveyard, the inner one only 40ft from the temple that sits in the middle like this place is small, the forest outside is constantly creeping in and rusting the fences, and in the shadow of the canopy the flowers in the grove appear greyish and dim but when sunlight passes through they all shimmer bizarrely bright in this rainbow wave of colour before the light disappears again. theres a big broken window in the temple and the moss and vines and ferns are growing into the house through it. like no wonder he doesnt know what day it is

Nice to hear that someone else also wasn't invested in c3....I tried watching it a number of times but the setting and characters just didn't do it for me......

yea, i know people didnt enjoy it for all sorts of reasons theres like discourse posts about but personally the long single main plotline through it just absolutely did not work for me for that long actual play setting. it got introduced so early and went on for so long that by the time it was liek ep50 and they were fighting ludinus it felt like it shouldve been the end arc beginning but then it went on for 70 more episodes. the party split is where i rly struggled and eventually stopped bc it meant having to do the same period of time twice, just absolutely slowed down to a crawl after what should be a huge shift. the ley lines were cool but like.. idk it didnt give what it needed to give. molaesmyr/savalirwood stuff with vry Annihilation mutated animals couldnt even keep my interest for some reason and i love that setting (savalirwood). also didnt connect with any of the characters except for thinking fearne is funny (ashleys delivery is just rly good) some of them i found funny but , idk something about imogen didnt click with me (straight up could be bc shes dressed like a superhero for some reason lmao feels discordant to the character i thought she was), i liked laudna but then she was tied in with cr1 stuff im not interested in and lost interest, chetneys funny sometimes but again reference character, the exu characters same bc i didnt find that miniseries interesting either tbh. even w fearne i ended up not liking the vibe of the feywild particularly like i hadnt seen cr1 things of it i didnt realise it was kind of annoying sometimes aahaha. the rest of them i just actually didnt find interesting for whatever reason and they never seemed to rly gel or form wee friendships outside of their backstories like tmn did in the same time. general thing of disconnect with the landscape around them too which is sad personally to mee bc i enjoy it in stories and i think theres a nice connection to the land and different cultures in cr2 throughout the different pcs . oh wellllll my review 🙂‍↕️lol

Curious your thoughts on CR4 being in a new world/setting, I'm happy Matt will be a player but I don't want to leave Exandria just yet when I know there's more to explore :c

i will wait and seee tbh , because i really love the setting in cr2 of course but man i did not enjoy cr3 and got very tired of the self-referential things (also think i dont rly like the cr1 settings that much just personal taste its too classic fantasy for me) and plot/characters in general so im glad theyre doing a change bc it all seemed a bit exhausted by the end of cr3. i find brennan a little too quick sometimes with how he speeds thru things but usually he's been pretty good in cr things hes done. i havent watched him in d20 bc i dont like the editing for it at all or the settings they usually do so thats the only thing , but like i feel like brennan in a crit role slower paced story could be good and i will probably check it out . im glad tbh theyre taking a break from exandria (outside of live-shows) bc ik there was big shake-ups with cr3 but i just do not care about that plot im sorry and i think itll be good to step away from it bc from an outside perspective on it , it all seemed to be getting messy

number 1 arc i want in mn animated kept faithful in relevant plot points but especially tonally is iron shepherds arc like if we dont get the weird sad funeral and molly's death totally upping the stakes and rallying the group, keg and nila helping (best guest charactesr to meee) , the cold bleak mountain landscape, shadycreek run and spooky forest hermit witch rumour from ophelia and creepy savalirwood and then cad intro and eventually the relief of rescuing everyone then what is even the point . its so elite

self reminder i need to put some fixative on this big painting i did for college landscape art module with glue and printer toner and water all mixed up of these mountain islands and take it someone where to photograph, maybe hold it up in front of the black crags or some other volcanic plug/basalt column space here

you could see about putting them up for sale on kofi, if one of their options for getting the money to you is acceptable/functional? i've seen a lot of people do commissions and tattoo ticket sales through there

yes that is the plan , just need to get payment methods that work with kofi , thats the main thing ^_^

need to figure out technical payment things in order to do commissions but i wont lie im also so unsure what to charge for things. like no one has enough money at the moment right but then ive seen a lot of artists have higher prices for similar skill/detail things , like 70-100 for character art (250ish for ref sheet type of things) and that jsut sounds high to me but i have no idea now 😭 like unsure what to do for portraits. nevermind styles and materials and things. i would kind of like to do pet portraits and tattoo designs bc thats fun

still baffled by this interaction me and my mum had while out walking at the weekend. we moved aside to let these two american women pass (single person width bit of path in tha woods) and they did but 1 woman turned to us and vry americanly big smile said 'where you guys heading?' and i said (in a friendly manner) 'oh just back to [nearby town] after this' and she went Oh. turned and walked away . like girl waht did you expect 😭
