"Don't worry; I’m not casting a spell on you." You did a long time ago, Dorian Storm. And now kiss this silly halfling already.
My sweet slow-burn boys. 💚🩵💚🩵💚🩵💚🩵

Panel 1: Laudna, out in the woods collecting firewood, stops to observe a spider spinning a web on a tree.
Panel 2: She leans in closer, watching it with enjoyment.
Laudna:
Hello, friend.
Panel 3: Before she can touch it, she is addressed by a familiar voice.
Delilah:
Be cautious, child.
Panel 4: A woman's shape appears in the spiderweb.
Delilah:
You are far too trusting of dangerous things. How many times have I had to warn you that all that ever comes of trust is betrayal?
Laudna:
You don't mean Imogen! Imogen would never betray me. She's the only person who hasn't betrayed me.
Delilah:
Yet.
Panel 5: Laudna swats away the spiderweb, to the indignation of the spider, which scurries away.
Laudna:
Shut up. You don't know what you're talking about. You don't know her as well as I do.
Delilah:
Oh, I think I know her exactly as well as you do. Which is to say, not very well, in perspective. I'm just looking out for your well-being, dearest.
Panel 6: Returning to the camp, she angrily tosses her collected sticks all at once onto the campfire, startling Imogen, who is trying to roast a fish.

Respite - Leaning In
Orym leans into Dorian’s hip (and by my math this is their actual heights in comparison), and Dorian puts his arm and cloak around him, humming a tune as he strokes his hair. I gave Orym rings under his eyes because you know he’s been going through it…
Close up under the cut
