Oz Cards

Trading cards for some characters from the Oz book series by L. Frank Baum, inspired by the illustrations of John R. Neill.

The process to create these was extensive and took me a while. I drew the characters in ProCreate for the iPad Pro, then vectorized them with Adobe Capture and added their color in Adobe Draw, then brought them into Adobe Illustrator so that I could integrate them with the cards themselves which were created in Adobe Illustrator.

Adrien Portrait - En Mentem

A portrait of Adrien for my project “En Mentem” (the format of that project is up in the air at the moment, not sure whether to make it a novel, a graphic novel or a video game). This is a re-done version of a painting I did back in December of 2015.

The first portrait shown is an alternate, ��from nothing” version of the piece with certain flag colors in strips across her face (which has nothing to do with the character necessarily).

ii Daily Doodle: Baby Doll from one of my favorite movies, Sucker Punch.

I was up waaaaay too late last night (2am) working on this piece.

This was done via iPad on Adobe Sketch, not traditionally, cause I like to cheat the system (I'm lazy) and use digital media instead of real watercolor and colored pencil. XD However, I will say that Adobe Sketch has THE BEST watercolor simulation I have EVER used. I thought Paper by 53 had a decent watercolor simulation but it is nothing compared to the brilliance of Adobe Sketch.

Edit: After a lot of time away from this piece, I fixed it up a lot in ProCreate.
