Advice and Insight on Virgo North Node
All of these notes are quotes from Astrology of the Soul by Jan Spiller.
Virgo North Nodes’ Achilles’ heel is victim consciousness.
They have “good karma” on the job and get along well with coworkers and employees.
This is not a victim lifetime.
Virgo North Node people have had so many victim lifetimes that they tend to give up too easily. They don’t do well with confrontation, competition, or any strong reactions against them.
Structure and order gives stability to their lives in ways that are nurturing and supportive.
All forms of escapism are counterproductive for them.
Virgo North Node people should keep their creative imagination flowing outward by serving others and producing tangible results, rather than inward with undirected self-examination.
Virgo North Node people are much more successful when they actively experiment to see what does and does not work on a practical level. They should not try to figure it all out in their heads.
They have had so many past-life experiences with spiritual “messages” that they enter this lifetime looking for premonitions and ignore what is happening on a tangible level.
These folks cling to the idea that when they encounter chaos, they can work it out and rise above it inwardly, and the situation will resolve itself outwardly. (protip: we’re wrong)
For Virgo North Node people, service is the antidote to suffering.
These folks are learning to ACT on their feelings of compassion.
They are learning that they need to act out of compassion and not out of duty.
In relationships, Virgo North Node people can gauge the right path by whether they lose or gain energy from an interaction.
They need to allow into their lives only those who are truly seeking productive solutions.
On an unconscious level they are looking to have their suffering recognized, and may put up with other people dumping problems on them because they are awaiting “their turn” to talk about their distress and cry.
Through deep introspection and self-examination, these people have become truly nonjudgemental of others.
Of course it’s always a good idea to send others Light (meaning love, understanding, etc), but what works for these folks is taking physical action to correct negative circumstances.
Because of their sensitive natures, they are operating with the underlying feeling of helplessness and constant vulnerability.
Confidence is a by-product of successful experience, and these folks haven’t had enough past-life experience in the world to know how truly effective they can be.
There is no way they can think their way beyond the anxiety; it is activity that gets them past an innate lack of confidence.
Virgo North Node people are extremely sensitive, and they tend to think that others are just as sensitive. When they look closely, they can see beyond the masks that other people present…They can do this because they are nonjudgmental…Because they have this ability, they assume that others can do the same. Thus, they feel very vulnerable out in the world. What they must recognize is that others cannot see into them
These folks must establish well-defined boundaries.
Their purpose in this lifetime is to serve others; when they become focused on the other person and what they can do to help, they feel confident because they are “on path.”
As long as they remember that their motive is to be helpful, they are filled with the confidence they need to interact joyfully. After all, if their primary motive is to be of service, they have nothing to lose.
The ability to perfect things in the physical realm is a gift they were born with.
(They have talents for) restoring things to order, analyzing, and successfully applying spiritual ethics in the material world.
These people are learning the lessons of clarity and discrimination in every area of their lives; what is real and what is fantasy; what is beneficial and what is destructive; who really needs their help and who just wants sympathy; when they are serving and when they are being victimized.
In this lifetime, Virgo North Node people are learning not to give up.
When a crisis occurs, they must fight their tendency to not interfere and instead increase their participation in a constructive way.
Virgo North Node people are learning to act with moderation in every aspect of their lives.
The clearer they are about what they want to create, the greater their chances for success.
Virgo North Node people are often attracted to people with qualities that they feel they lack: strength, assertiveness, decisiveness, and the like…By recognizing the quality in the other person they are attracted to, they can consciously put developing that quality within themselves at the center of the relationship.
These folks need an incredible amount of space.
One of their main goals is self-development.
My note: As you can see, a major theme of Virgo North Node is taking the Piscean South Node’s connection to the universe, compassion, and self-reflection, and tangibly using it to help other people on a day to day basis. We are not talking about solving world hunger, but about cooking for the hungry people in front of them.

Conjunct - these energies blend // “two become one”
Trine - friendly energies // talents
Sextile - intertwined but individual // using this energy brings opportunities
Quintile - spiritual connection // very subtly linked and probably unknown
Semi sextile - attracting each other // you need to be open to transformation
Square - energies once fought and have now built a wall // make amends
Semi square - very subtle tension // calmness and meditation will help
Opposition - opposites either attract or repel // the aim is to balance them
Inconjunct - avoidance or over-use // need to be used equally in balance
Sequiquadrate - not in control of their integration // you must reign the energies

i’ve just discovered quincunxes and i’m so excited to delve in
I don’t consider quincunx/inconjunct to be a minor aspect. It’s essentially the “true opposition” because even though the technical opposition is discordant and denotes an imbalanced “tug of war,” it’s between sister signs, which have a lot in common. Inconjunct signs don’t. There’s no middle ground and it’s a very difficult aspect to deal with because of that; it’s constant tension with no natural resolution. Quincunxes usually manifest very strongly, in my experience/observation. They aren’t one of the five Ptolemaic aspects but they’re still major in my mind, so I use a wider orb for them, and I encourage other people to pay them more mind. If quincunxes were minor I don’t think yods would be as crucial and impactful as they are, you know?

Electional astrology: social media charts pt 2
I was asked to do this post so I decided to dive deeper into the topic. Now, I’m not an expert on electional astrology and these are just my intuitive thoughts on what I think might be the best for a social media account (and I think it might apply the best for something like instagram because it’s a very visual and quality-oriented platform). Also keep in mind that this is more advanced astrology so it’s okay to feel a bit overwhelmed, I’ll try to explain everything as well as I can.
Also, we’re talking astrology for social media accounts, this isn’t anything serious and just something you can test and play with if you want. Lastly, what I that think is worth mentioning when it comes to electional astrology OVERALL: as much as making your decisions based on transits may be very useful, don’t get too paranoid on choosing the right date for whatever you want to do. Obviously if you can wait to launch something, then sure, wait, but if it’s an emergency situation then please don’t postpone it just because Mercury’s in retrograde or Mars is making a square or whatever.
Okay so let’s get into it. 1. Rising sign: in my last post I mentioned the importance of choosing the right rising sign. You’re basically creating a new entity that is your social media account so I’d definitely pay ettention to that - you need a good first impression and someting that would draw people to whatever you’re presenting. I think you can never go wrong with a Leo rising, you’re going to shine no matter what. Gemini rising seems like a good idea as well, since it’s all about communication. Also Libra, if you want to present yourself nicely; or Pisces cause it’s the idealized one. I wouldn’t recomment having ascendant in Aries or Scorpio cause these can be too polarizing and off-putting for some.
2. Moon: I’d honestly recommend going for signs mentioned above. Just anything that’s upbeat: air or fire Moons are great. If you can, use the time of waxing Moon (so between New Moon and Full Moon). Make sure Moon is making trines or sextiles (no tense aspects to the Moon!), it should be fairly easy thanks to the fact that it moves fast.
3. Planets in the houses:
in the 1st: Sun, Venus, Mercury or Jupiter would be favourable;
in the 2nd if you want to make a living out of it;
in the 3rd for good communication;
in the 5th for creativity;
in the 6th to build a consistency (because no one wants to be one of those accounts that posts every once in a month lol) - Saturn in the 6th might be good, Uranus or Neptune in not very advisable;
in the 7th to have nice relations with others;
in the 9th for growth and reaching people worldwide;
on the MC/in the 10th for success and “looking good” (Jupiter/Sun/Venus would be amazing on the MC, especially if one of those would be the chart ruler. Saturn could be good for slow and steady success if you’re willing to put much work into it);
in the 11th if you want to be seen and build a community. 11th house is the house of groups and internet so it’s a no brainer.
I would advise against having too much emphasis on the water houses (4th, 8th, 12th). Avoid having Saturn in the 1st at all costs. Same with Chiron. Or having them in the extroverted houses (1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th, 11th) cause they can block your communication and make you self-concious (resulting in, for example, constatly deleting your posts and not being satisfied with the account, especially if it’s supposed to be visually pleasing). Also pay attention to the house north node falls in, aka where you’re headed.
4. Aspects: obviously pay attention to this as well. Don’t be like me and sign up on instagram when there’s a million squares in the sky and nothing else lol. A nice trine between Moon and Venus is always very welcome. Or between Mercury and Moon (*wink wink*). Mercury in flowing aspects. Sun-Jupiter connections would be great. Squares and oppositions aren’t bad, they bring the need to release the energy, squares in particular give us a push (we don’t want laziness ha), just don’t have too much of them. Any flowing aspects to Jupiter or Saturn would be very much welcome as well.
5. Retrogrades: yeah I would wait these out. Especially from Mercury, Venus, Mars and Jupiter. Generational planets are in retrograde for the majority of the time so I wouldn’t pay that much attention to them.
6. Quick examples of topics associated with each sign, depending on what your social media is about. You can look at the house each sign rules to, for example, have Sun or Moon fall into the one that represents your interests (want a blog on astrology? Have Sun in the 9th or in Sag etc).
Aries: sports, fitness, games, movies, creativity, leadership type of things, just anything that’s lively.
Taurus: fashion, music, ASMR, food, gardening, arts in general.
Gemini: communication, memes, writing, crafts, really anything cause Geminis can do anything ;)
Cancer: writing, poetry, history, vintage stuff, painting, home decor.
Leo: all forms of arts (music/theater/dance etc), hobbies & creativity, sports.
Virgo: this is the Marie Kondo energy, fitness and nutrition, writing, journalism, crafts, gardening, pets.
Libra: art, fashion, styling, hair & makeup, music, interior design, photography.
Scorpio: the occult, anything witchy, body modifications, criminology, taboo topics, art.
Sagittarius: journalism, writing, books, astrology, spirituality, travel, teaching, comedy, entertainment, sports.
Capricorn: anything authoritative, business-type stuff, politics, law, teaching, socials for managers/PR.
Aquarius: all sorts of creativity, writing, tech stuff, media, social issues, science, sci-fi.
Pisces: all forms of arts, humanitarianism, spirituality, anything water-related (water sports etc).
7. Lastly, there’s no set rules really. You just have to look at the chart and kind of get the feel of it. You don’t have to be very particular with your chart either, I’m 100% sure you won’t be able to check all marks from this lil guide. And remember that you’re still you and you won’t suddenly change your own personality, interests and how you interact with people just because your social media chart looks a certain way.
Have fun with it and good luck!

🌨💞: moon-pluto? moon-pluto.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
“it is so invigorating to embrace what other people ignore...”
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
• their emotions can come through in uncontrollable tidal waves. anything pluto touches, forces it to surrender. in this case, the individual must learn to surrender to the chaos & unpredictability of their emotions, to shake their need for control & become grounded through the action of surrendering. trying to control the wave is a sure way of getting lost at sea. people from the outside should never try to control a moon-pluto person’s feelings ever. don’t even try to put their feelings in a box. they need someone who’s gonna ride out the storm with them. but most times, they end up doing it alone because those storms just weren’t built for the faint-hearted. also because people from the outside just don’t realize how deeply those storms can affect a moon-pluto person. they think of it as a light rain shower, but they don’t understand that it can be mentally exhausting, physically taxing, and soul-shattering. it is one hell of a trip, that’s for sure.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
• these individuals have a strong inner need to self-destruct. they thrive on the control of their own metaphorical death & rebirth. these individuals tend to face many inner transformations that not many people from the outside can understand or even see clearly. however, this isn’t so bad, as their ability to bring themselves out of difficult phases in their life makes them a force to be reckoned with (hence why they tend to carry a very powerful & intimidating aura that can be felt from others). yet on the other side of this, moon-pluto people tend to have a fascination towards pain, risks, and danger. it is their own personal catalyst towards transformation. this fascination can lead them to stay in periods of struggle, pain, anger, & deep sadness for a long time, looking for something that they will only find when they finally learn to bring themselves to the light, out of that darkness.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
• these individuals need support from people who are going to accept all parts of them. not just the happy, fun, vivacious, lively side of them. they need someone that’s going to accept those dark, intricate, & puzzling parts of them that sometimes don’t make sense. they need the depth. they need the realness. anything superficial makes them feel uninspired, alone, & incredibly bored.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
• moon-pluto people also have a way of quite literally peering into other people’s lives (indirectly or directly). they are able to completely find out what other people aren’t saying, what they are hiding, & what lies below their appearance. sometimes, it happens so naturally that they don’t even realize they are doing it until after the fact. they are human lie-detector tests. their intuition is quite unmatched. if they want to find out something, they will. you know when you enter a car & you forget to put your seatbelt on so it keeps making that annoying beep until you do? that’s their instincts. an annoying beep that will continue to go off until they finally listen to whatever it is telling them. (i feel like this quality would make them great therapists & psychiatrists, they just know how to peer into the soul & bring hidden things to the surface).
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
• moon-pluto people tend to feel like the rug is constantly being pulled from underneath their feet. that there is very little stability in life, especially when it comes to their emotions. with this, they also tend to have deep thoughts that everyone is out to get them, hurt them, or attack them in some way. they always feel prepared for danger to strike, even when it is actually safe. they just carry this unnerving edge towards danger. they are always on constant alert.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
• i’ve read that people with this placement tend to suffer from eating disorders or disorganized eating styles, in which they will go from extremes (pluto) of eating everything in sight to eating nothing at all. it is like their own form of personal control.

So I found out that I have my 6th/12th house and Virgo/Pisces intercepted in my chart.... AHHHH
This may explain why
- I have trouble keeping jobs, because I get bored easily of the mundane (working just to work/survive)/find something wrong about the workplace that makes me leave
- Something about Virgos piss me off LOOL they’re the only signs that get on my nerves & MY FAM IS FULL OF VIRGO PLACEMENTS; Virgo placements are the ones who make me feel stupid and downplay my intelligence, like they’re trying to micromanage me; it’s that type of interaction where you’re about to do something and then you hear them say “Do this” and you’re like “....I’m about to....” ?!?!? I just deal with Virgo placements (family); I can’t be friends with them because they don’t understand how I move
- I’m more so fascinated by Pisces placements than bothered by them; I think it’s because I’m a sidereal Pisces rising; I’m attracted to their artistry and imagination, maybe because I was denied of it growing up (ie. not supported in professional creative endeavors)
- Lots of other thoughts, but I just looked into this last night and these are my immediate observations!

When the north and south node are intercepted, the early life is challenging because familiar traits and talents that were supposed to be present in this life are seemingly absent or difficult to call up on and utilize (intercepted south node). This leads to a sense of lostness and ambivalence in discovering themselves more so than others, and a reluctance to developing the traits needed in order to grow by means of journeying for what they desire in this life; self-discovery to them sounds like a frightening mission to accomplish (intercepted north node).

Sun square Ascendant
People born with Sun square Ascendant do not always “come across” to others as they intend to. Especially in their youth, these people can easily offend others with what people might call an “attitude”. Sometimes, the impression is one of being overbearing, arrogant, or pushy. If this is the case, it’s due to a defense mechanism perhaps stemming from childhood. For some reason or other, what these people want to express is often interpreted the wrong way. Awareness of this discrepancy is important, otherwise the defense mechanism can worsen over time, and natives of this aspect can meet with problems at work (especially with authority) and in personal relationships. Softening the manner and the attitude does wonders to smooth over relationships of all kinds.
