☀️ 💖 Part of writing a solar punk novel is researching how items are made, sourced, what certain ingredients do to our bodies, what “clean” really means in the beauty industry and so many other practices in our world. 🌸🌱This was all necessary for my world building process. Under capitalism— marketing convinces us what we should wear and buy but if we want a more sustainable future we need to invest in organic materials and fair practices 🙂‍↕️ I absolutely love @naturalamorusa ! I’ve been looking for a replacement for Vaseline’s cocoa butter lotion and this one makes you smell so yummy! My skin feels so nice and smooth 🥰 as someone with a chronic illness I’ve had no negative reactions and this is my 3rd order so I’m completely in love 😍😍😍. Can’t wait to order more from them! ☺️ #solarpunk #writing #organic #beauty #lotion #bodyamorusa #bodyamor #fantasywriting #scifiwriter

The Tea Dragon Society is one of my comfy, gentle fantasy graphic novels that I thoroughly enjoy. I love the pastel colors and the tone of the story. Highly Recommend! Follow me on my other social media outlets too :)

The writing process is really messy. There are days where there is a burst of inspiration and you need to draw out your characters so that you can actually visually see what they look like. Then there is the countless hours of researching information just for one small world building detail. There are other days where you need to just a walk and try to be inspired by nature or movements outside of your home. Not too secretive about sharing my map since it is most likely going to change again and I've changed the names of places and nations so many times. Excited to finally finish my first draft this month, hopefully this is a story that someone will enjoy reading.

Part 4: The Indigenous Imagery in Tears of the Kingdom. Have you noticed the textiles and colors in TOTK? These colors are highly connected to MesoAmerica.

Part 2 : The Indigenous Imagery in Tears of the Kingdom. There are 4 parts in total so far right now but as I continue to watch the game play (can't continue to play the game right now due to brain injury) I will keep adding to this series! :)

Hello!
My name is Cat and I am an aspiring author. I am extremely close to the first draft of my Solarpunk novel which is inspired by the allure and poetry of Breath of the Wild while being influenced by the both Eastern and Indigenous philosophy.
My goal is to inspire people to look into alternative lifestyles and ideas when it comes to ecology, economy, and technology. My story does have romance, diverse characters, begins in a world much different than Earth and explores faith and science. <3
Will be posting about things I love to enjoy like sustainability, organic wear, decentralized technology, recipes and storytelling.
