also im (slowly) working on adding some older works to my brand new shop (!!) so there will be a like. Official Launch Post eventually. yay yippee
#the problem is i have historically used very small canvases. so not a lot is actually high quality enough (resolution wise) to#make into prints#stickers maybe .. or small prints .. we'll see

the agonies
frustrating to be an artist who is, yknow, Fine, but who wants to maybe do art as a career or side hustle in the future. i do well in small fandoms because there's not a lot of art, but that wont make a lot of money because the (sorry to say it like this but . Ugh. Money) "consumer base" is too small; anything i draw for something more popular or "marketable" gets buried under work by people more talented than i am. what thee fuck is the pointttt. i need to spend like 5 more years in a monastery doing nothing but making my art better but i cant because i need to have a job like. Right Now!!!!! also The Repetitive Strain Injuries!!!!!! AGHHHHH
#like i dont think im 'bad' this isnt compliment fishing ive put in a lot of practice and i think it shows#but like. i dont match up to people who have: spent longer practicing/put in more effort and study time/have more inherent talent/etc#its just a hobby to me! i cant do it for work even if i wanted to#ugh im just in job search hell i keep getting doors slammed in my fucking face and this is just another one on the pile#im tired and frustrated and needed to vent. will delete later prob. thanks for reading ily.
