I found this old art I did for my fic, and I decided I actually kinda like it. I am posting chapters at a snail's pace, but hey, snails are bugs, and we like bugs here, right?

Now serious, she said it was clear to her that none of that stuff about Mary’s clothes mattered, at least if her clothes weren’t the point. What mattered most about the image was that Mary was holding her diploma and smiling. “But,” she wondered, “do I say, Mary has a huge smile on her face as she shows her diploma or Mary has an exuberant smile or showing her teeth in a smile and her eyes are crinkled at the edges?”

It’s simple. Mary has a huge smile on her face is the best one. It’s the don’t-second-guess-yourself option."

Okay, so @lavenderlemniscate yes, I did use Krita to make the gif, it's File>Render animation, click video option and choose a format.

@edwinpaynefan I am having trouble tagging you, sorry, but uh, here, it's this tool!

If you want to resize a specific portion of something, use one of the select options on the right, the ones with dotted lines. And if you want something to not change proportions while you resize it, hold shift while doing it. Hope that helps!

I've been trying to draw them on-model for so long, once I managed that, I forgot that I could draw them however I wanted to.

Ok, since people are posting their own fankids, here's my Knuxouge ones I made a few years back, Bixbite and Egg.

Bixbite aspires to be a reverse Indiana Jones; he steals exhibits from museums, and returns every artefact to its rightful place (which often ends up being a different museum in a different country). His parents mostly approve, even if they don't always agree on what his methods should be. Bixbite as a kid, felt guilty that he wasn't born an Echidna, because he had a strong obligation to keep their culture and traditions remembered, as he spent most of his childhood with his dad on Angel Island.

His name is what the rarest, red type of emerald is called, and was, of course, chosen by Rouge.

Egg is a mischievous little gremlin, often tagging along on her brother's self-appointed missions. Bixbite is doing his best to spare her from the pressure that he felt growing up, and trying to hide how jealous of her he is. Knuckles is worried that she will be too carefree in her duties once she grows up. Rouge is of the opposite mind.

Egg's name was meant to be a placeholder before her hatching, but after a series of misadventures involving the egg, the name stuck around. The first time Eggman showed up on Angel Island and found Bixbite and Egg guarding the Master Emerald, much confusion ensued.
