i know some people aren't fans of the post-eyepocalypse bits and the different world building for the tmaverse, but i am getting a sick joy out of learning intimate details about the tma characters without them knowing. Seeing melanie be soft an vulnerable with someone, learning a bit more about georgie's side of the story since she wasn't at the magnus institute for most of anything, getting to learn details about them that they never would have shared if they knew a tape recorder was there. i'm living my awful eye-carious pleasure, high on the knowledge that they would hate me for listening in. i can't get enough.

do you think after the panopticon blew up and there were spots that never healed from the eyepocalypse that georgie became more like s5 jon? that she took it all on herself and blamed herself for the choice to pass it on since it didn't truly get rid of the fears and now she has spread it to others? do you think she looks to melanie as a reason to keep moving forward? do you think she hopes jon and martin are dead so they don't have to know that they died for "nothing"? do you think she was secretly hopeful that the archivist was jon and then sharply turned into concern because he shouldn't be alive?

I think a core georgie trait we're seeing crystalize is that she is The Regretter. she feels like she handled her university situation with alex the wrong way, she thinks she made the wrong call in cutting off jon, she thinks she was greedy in trying to save too many people from the apocalypse, and now she's clearly repressing how much she regrets passing on the apocalypse. no fear about the future but constant consternation about the past.
