This post isn't saying you shouldnt talk about what made you angry or never address it (which would bottle it up)-> it's saying in that exact moment when you are angry you should practice control instead of lashing out physically or yelling. The first thing my dad would do when he was angry used to be putting his fist through a wall or breaking something/anything near him that he could throw. He had no control. It has taken him almost 30 years to gain some kind of control over his anger so that his immediate reaction isn't to break something or shout. once when i was like 17 i told someone not to call me queer since where i used to live it is still used as a violent slur, and i also just generally don't like my sexuality being associated with the word "weird". She could call others that, just not me.
