          HE WISHED HE COULD’VE responded differently, because both their heated anger couldn’t be contained within a controlled argument. but sungwoon had always had a temper, one he had attempted to CALM the best he could ( and working out helped, a lot ), but despite the amount of affection and genuine l o v e he had for changmin, the man always seemed to be able to push all of sungwoon’s buttons. he just cared for the other male, so much so that when he was shut out it FRUSTRATED him to no end. «you’re just gonna keep pushing me away like that, huh ?» he crossed his arms in front of his chest, eyeing the other intently. «forever ? because you see, i don’t care if you can handle it yourself. the point is, you don’t have to.»

he didn’t have to break the eye contact to know that sungwoon’s frustration was coming forward ( voice and body language said it all ) and for a little while all they did was stare at each other. changmin listened to the other male talk and let the silence take over instead of saying anything for the next minutes. the words stuck with him like they had found a way inside his body and didn’t want to leave until something happened – but no matter how RIGHT it sounded, changmin r e f u s e d to acknowledge it. “it’s not like i mean to push you away; it just happens, okay ? call it a defense mechanism or whatever,” he replied after gathering his thoughts. “i’m fucking scared to let anyone in. i just don’t want to get hurt again.”

The art gallery is crowded, but for once Sora feels alone. She’s focusing on the painting intently, trying to FEEL something. It was easy for Sora to get angry or sad, feel strange euphoric bouts of  happiness, but she didn’t understand the importance of paintings and photography, surely these were just pictures, figments of imagination and memories, they lacked relevance in her eyes. “I still don’t understand the meaning behind this painting, can’t we go eat something now?”

normally she was out for three reasons: dog walking, food, and hanging out. today, for once, it was neither of those three. iseul had mentioned a fifty-percent off deal throughout the whole bookstore, and that plus his employee discount meant a steal she couldn’t quite resist. true, eunbyul was still a long ways away from being able to afford veterinary school, but she was going to be applying soon, and she desperately needed to brush up on her basics. taking a year off after graduation had made her not lazy exactly, but simply unwilling to touch any books for the past couple months or so. this sale was just the push she needed to get back on track! 

she hadn’t even been halfway there to the bookstore when a click! suddenly stopped her in her tracks. what the heck was that? she turned left and right, trying to find the source of the sound, while a part of her nagged that she’d heard that noise while out and about before.

there were times when bursts of inspiration came to him from out of the blue and it could be everything from a project to a short photo series, but this day had given him nothing to do or work on. changmin had been up for hours trying to find new ideas only to be failed by his creativity; he’d tried everything from writing down random words to go through his previous pictures and still nothing. going for a walk had been the only option left and it usually helped because anything around him could become interesting, which was why he now stood on the street snapping pictures here and there. he flipped through them on the camera and stopped on a particular shot of a female walking down the street, studying her and the whole picture itself. although a lot of people often ended up in the shots and changmin didn’t bat an eye on most of them, something was different about her – the image felt complete with her in it, like she was made for the camera.
