My last Punch Out oc, Colt MacCarthy!

He never grew out of his cowboy phase. He also runs a farm! :]

Struggling to really write anything without going wild, I have too much lore for him yet struggle to put into words lol ;_;

I'll only write for the ones that isn't just "they know each other/are friends" cuz my ass can't think of anything for some of these.

Mattie Clyde

Glass Joe

Mattie is honestly impressed with how much Joe is able to keep going despite it all. He admires him to a good degree. He almost sees a glimpse of himself in there, a self that didn't give up when he was younger.

Bald Bull

Where do I even start? Bald Bull hates Mattie's guts well because the guy is like a fly to him. Annoying and no matter what it always comes back. Mattie's an interviewer, it was bound to happen. Mattie on the other hand fears the Bald Bull. Yes, he does want an interview, he knows he's not going to get Bull on his talk show, with the Bald Bull. He was very persistent at first, but the fear has gotten to him slightly.

Super Macho Man

With Mattie's insistence on giving attention to boxers, and Macho's love for it, it was inevitable that these two would become friends. Then those feelings developed into something more. Neither has said anything to the other: Mattie thinks he's out of Macho's league and also is a coward, and Macho just thinks Mattie isn't interested in him. (Someone needs to shove them in a room and tell them to talk it out lmao)

Carmen

Gossip buddies!! They love to just get together and talk about the wildest thing they saw/happened since they last met up. Also Carmen is an ear for Mattie to yap to, and ask for advice (love advice specifically hehe)

Referee

Mattie loves being a slight menace to the referee. While not in the way that some of the boxers do, but a more subtle way. The Ref is more annoyed by him than anything else. They do have a running joke of making bets on which boxer will win when matches happen, Mattie won't admit how many times he lost.

Jest

Glass Joe

Jest is very intrigued by Joe's resilience yet fragility. He also probably broke the man's hand the first time they shook hands. Joe on the other hand, does enjoy Jest's company, but is kind of terrified of him. He's a robot! Literal metal, and easily took him out when they had their match. He's got to be careful around Jest just incase, he doesn't want to break something outside of the ring.

King Hippo

Jest at first was very avoidant of King Hippo. Not from intimidation of his appearance, but because his a king. Royalty. Jest isn't too good with, and fond of, royalty. It reminded him of the one thing he was once made for and failed at. At some point Jest had tried to finally talk to Hippo, make a joke and all. He expected not much, a sigh or maybe a frown, or even a comment. Laughter was the bottom on his list. He had actually entertained someone, royalty non the less. He then tended to gravitate to Hippo and before long they formed a friendship.

Aran Ryan

Jest at first really tolerated Aran, even with the cheating. Then came the pranks. Aran was quick with figure out how gullible Jest is. Even with all the knowledge Jest has he's very easy to persuade and trick. Which has led to Jest being the scape goat for failed pranks, and victim to them. Jest really hasn't been able to trust Aran for a while now, he's done with listening to him even if Aran sees this as harmless play.

Soda Popinski

With Jest being a robot, there needed to be someone who could do in-depth check ups on him. Why not send him to those scientist that are involved with Popinski? They could probably work with him, even fork over a few dollars just incase. Well, the scientist agreed and soon Jest was in a lab about to be poked and prodded. This was about one of the only time he became very hostile and freaked out, he hates being looked inside especially random people. Which led to some inconvenient wrestling with Popinski and being held until the check up was over. Which led to Jest hanging out with Popinski. Which led to a friendship, and then a crush developed. Love still confuses Jest and he's scared to act on it. Popinski sees Jest a good company and has a slight feelings to but has a more relaxed outlook on it.

Mr. Sandman

Jest is content with his placement in the World Circuit mainly of fear of fighting Sandman. He hasn't even tried. Even if he is a robot, metal and steel. He can't help but feel terrified. Sandman holds a confidence and intimidation that Jest just can't shake off. He also can't get the idea that Sandman will hit him once in the head and he's head will spring out like a jack in a box.

The Referee

The Ref doesn't get paid enough for this. Before the WVBA decided to send Jest off for a bit, they had put the responsibility of Jest's maintenance onto the Ref. Was he qualified to do this? Nope. It was annoyed at first, especially with how defiant Jest was with the check up. Then Jest started to ask questions, the ref was one of the first people he met. Jest started to see the Ref as a familiar figure. Someone to rely on. The Ref isn't too sure about any of it, really doesn't get paid enough for this, but he does see Jest in a slight familiar since.

Colt MacCarthy

(I haven't made a post about this oc at all. Honestly he's the most uncreative out of the three, but I love him too dearly.)

Bear Hugger

Fishin' buddies :] besides that they share recipes with each other and cook.

Don Flamenco & Carmen

(Ok so this one's a long story that I gotta make short) So, Colt and Don had gotten close during the TD when Don and Carmen had broken up. At the time Colt had started to develop feelings for Don. Then Don and Carmen got back together. Colt, not wanting to ruin the two's relationship, started to pull away. He continued to hang out with them from a distance, almost clueless as to why they were so insistent on wanting to be near him. Don and Carmen had to spell it out for him he was that unaware and distant. But in the end they ended up in a relationship.

Aran Ryan

Colt tries his best to be honest in the ring, so when he went up against Aran he was thrown in a loop. He'd never met someone so willing to cheat, and really only for the thrill of it. It did bother him, but that didn't stop him from forming a rivalry with Aran. Some bickering, tussling, and in the end they shake on it and leave.

Super Macho Man

Colt has been unable to win against Macho and its safe to bet that he'll be there for a while. Which had led to these two becoming unlikely friends, and obvious rivals. They bicker verbal a lot, all bark no bite. Yet in the end they can set aside their rivalry for moments of just hanging out, usually some form of beach activity. (Colt has definitely somehow buried Macho in the sand to where only his head was sticking out)

Finally getting around to posting about another Punch Out oc! Meet Mattie Clyde! He's the announcer/MC and commentator for the WVBA. He also does interviews and has a talkshow. Seriously, if it involves yapping he's probably done it

Guh, finally I have decided to post about one (yes I have multiple ._.) of my Punch Out Ocs!

Meet J-35-T or Jest!

He's a silly guy and a robot :] More stuff about him under the cut!

Jest was originally built to entertain royalty, but as it turned out he was awful with this. He tended to make puns or word play jokes, which didn't end well. He was offline and then moved from place to place, used a statue or attraction. Then he got into the hands of the WVBA. Originally he was going to be used as another form of entertainment, until something happened. He turned out to be alive, or at least was given life. Instead of being used for a statue they let him box with the name 'Curtain Call'.

Curtain Call is very slow with his wind up, but packs a strong punch. He tends to keep it simple, but will change it up after a while. His slow speed also leads him to depend more on blocking rather than dodging. He also can't seem to take punches to the face well, getting easily stunned from them.

Outside of the ring, Jest tends to be a very cheerful guy! Although he could be very naive with a lot of things. He also doesn't fully understand everything with humans, mainly phrasing('You're telling me a shrimp fried this rice?' kind of deal). He also sometimes forgets that humans aren't like him (Getting sick, and also recovery from injuries). Overall he's just a robot wanting to learn more about the world he's new to!
