A day late for WIP Wednesday but I have this sweet drawing to go with it! I lucked out and got a spot on @charlikesalmon commission list earlier this spring and I'm still crying over it days later.

This is for a future fic but if you noticed, I'm very impatient in showing off. Also isn't this beautiful??? This is out of another fic in the Oakridge Farn AU so it's not part of my long fic.

Thank you again @charlikesalmon for this lovely work. It perfectly shows off a teen Shane and Rayna in the early days of their "friendship" 👀

“Thank you for tonight.” Rayna squeezed the swing chain as she looked away. “Sorry, I pulled you away from work. Are you gonna be in trouble?”

“Don’t worry about it,” Shane said as he took a seat on the swing next to her. “I get a break anyway. Just took it earlier than I expected.”

“I feel so dumb,” she sighed. “The only person I knew back there was Ada, and I knew I should have stayed with her but—” She stopped herself. “I don’t know what I was thinking, believing that guy.” She kicked her boot into the sand under them. “Maybe it was my fault.”

“Hey, don’t say that.” Shane grabbed the swing chain and pulled her towards him. “It’s not your fault. You have nothing to be ashamed of.”

She faced him and, for the first time, saw the color of his eyes. Even with the playground lights, she could tell they were a soothing green. They looked back at her with such intensity that she felt her cheeks become hot. 

“Thank you again for saving me,” she managed to get out.

“You’re welcome. If you ever need anything, you can call me.” He softly smiled. “Consider me your personal bodyguard.”

She bit her lip. “Thanks, but I already have Dre.”

He slid his hand down the chain until it rested on top of hers. “Now you have me too,” he quietly said with flushed cheeks.

Hello! I’m sure you’ve answered this question before but I couldn’t find it so sorry if I’m buggin you. What brushes do you like using in your digital art? I absolutely adore your art and art style btw <3

hi!! i answered this a while ago on instagram but i'll try to go more indepth here! clip studio paint is what i use so all of these are csp brushes :)

my goat is the default design pencil with no anti-aliasing, i literally use this for everything - it's just really versatile and dense with the right amount of texture so it's been my main sketch/rendering brush for YEARS lol

i also occasionally use the raz brush for sketching, mainly for clothing lines and sometimes hands?? the fill is really nice too

i have a bunch of brushes for colouring but these are my favourite rn!! the charcoal brushes pack comes with a lot of good texture brushes, i recommend trying them all out but i listed the main ones i use below. the pack is free on gumroad you can find it here!

if there's any specific brushes in my art you're looking for that wasn't listed here, feel free to ask :D hope this helps!!
