And what is appropriate to post on main? You're telling someone they can't vent on their own personal blog? People need outlets for their problems, I'd think y'all would know this but apparently not. Some people can't get therapy, I can't because of financial issues and having neurotypical parents. Some people need to use their tumblrs, twitters, etc to vent their thoughts.

would you walk into your classroom at school and announce at the front of it that you just thought about abusing children? that’s what it’s like to use a public blog full of countless followers, most of which don’t know you personally, as that kind of outlet. it was untagged. it was public. people don’t want to fucking see that. if you’re that desperate for an outlet, get a sideblog (of which they have several), go in a vent channel on a discord server, get a journal, even just do the bare minimum and use tags. thats really all there is to it and we’re all baffled that we have to constantly keep explaining such a simple concept

Being a mutual/friend of Cherry's, I saw when he was writing the poem about antisemitism. I believe (he can correct me if I'm wrong), this was for a school project and he went to people to make sure he wrote it accurately and appropriately. You can't just take things out of context and use it against him. And during the abuse anon stuff, honestly?? Honest to god whoever it was had no right to push Cherry. He explained himself properly. I'd maybe do research on intrusive thoughts if I were you.

i’m not going to address the antisemitism part of this ask because im not qualified to but the large large majority of the people involved in this suffer from OCD/other mental illnesses and intrusive thoughts so our statements are coming from a place of previous experience and understanding, we don’t need to do research on it because everyone who wrote that part of the warning has personally experienced this kind of thing before. things like that aren’t appropriate to post on main, period.

though Cherry being a beastars fan is notable, and the content in beastars should be acknowledged, it being a pretty popular media right now would may throw off others of taking the document seriously, we appreciate the concern and we agree on your point anyway

Jolyne/Cherry @/catboyedgeworth has been doing some things that have been bothering us, and to an extent, other people as well, and should be pointed out before anything else could happen. After being confronted about some of the stuff mentioned in the document, he showed a defensive attitude and an obvious refuse to change.
