how they met: they first saw each other when chan was picking the group. since they were the first two picks, they bonded fast, despite hans behavior. she was one of the few he was nice to.

LEE FELIX:

relationship: best friends! (closest friend) ship name: felunny (get it, felony), sunbok (sunblock im sorry) how they met: when they both first moved to Korea, they met in a Korean learners class. they chatted a little, but they when they met again in the JYP building, running into each other while rushing to practice, they formed a closer bond that strengthened when they joined skz.

KIM SEUNGMIN:

relationship: frenemies. ship name: seunny, minhee how they met: they both wanted to practice vocals, and forgot to rent the room. ended up having a singing competition to see who could hit the highest note (Seungmin won)

YANG JEONGIN:

how they met: when chan formed the group! poor them had such a hard time communicating, since he mainly spoke Korean while she was still learning it. although, they helped eachother learn the other language, creating a cute sibling dynamic

𝐂𝐇𝐎 𝐒𝐔𝐍𝐇𝐄𝐄 didn't have a normal family. She didn’t grow up going out to dinner, arcades, hanging out with friends. Most days were spent inside, cooking dinner or hiding in her room from her parents screaming fights. Not that that blocked out much of the noise anyway.

She was smart in school. All her teachers praised her. But none had the heart to point out the purple bruises on her skin when it came to swim class. Some students pointed them out and laughed. Others stayed quiet and stayed away from her. Sunhee tried to cover them up. Although, using her mother’s makeup concluded in a consequence, which led to more bruising.

When she turned 13, her parents got divorced. It was long, and grueling. Her mom won custody, but Sunhee would rather to move in with her Grandma back in Korea.

Two years later, she sent a letter to her Grandma. Sunhee never asked for much, but when she did, it was small. Never, ‘can I move to Seoul with you?’ And when her Grandma said yes, she left before even telling her mom. Not that her mom noticed.

When arriving in Korea, the thing that kept her sane, just like the past 15 years of her life, was music. She loved singing, writing, and dancing. Although, when she preformed for her school’s talent show, she was criticized for not having well enough Korean, and she didn’t preform as if she was in a girl k-pop group. She fit more of a male group’s criteria.

Upon turning 16, she was scouted in her schools choir by JYP Entertainment. She became a trainee 3 months later.
