I love that I made my blog yesterday and I already got about three asks like this. 

I ship SebaCiel since 2011, aka when I started following Kuroshitsuji. I was 12 years old at the time, perhaps I didn't grasp all the negative implications of the pairing, but I was aware of Ciel's age.                               Despite me being basically a child as young as him, I never felt threatened by SebaCiel or its shippers, let alone traumatized. In fact, the very same thing antis consider "problematic" about the pairing is what made me like it even more, since I felt a stronger connection to the characters involved.                  Kuroshitsuji brought me back to my geeky interests, and with SebaCiel I discovered aspects of anime culture that I didn't even know existed back then- like the yaoi genre. My love for the pairing wasn't dictated by a male/male kink or worse, but rather it was born out of fascination with the dynamics of the two. I liked how they worked  together. There was chemistry, and I overlooked the darker twists of their relationship, because after all they are fictional characters moving in a fictional universe.                                                                                 I would never support a SebaCiel-like relationship in real life, just like I do not support pedophilia or abuse of any kind. Hell, I don't even want it to become canon in Kuroshitsuji (not that it has any chances anyways). It would ruin not only the story but also the relationship I so much love between them. It can be uncomfortable for some, and that's why I never tried to push it down other people's throats. I'm perfectly understanding when it comes to boundaries. There's nothing wrong with wanting to avoid a couple, especially if it deals with delicate themes like SebaCiel, but there's nothing wrong with liking it either.  On the other hand, it's not okay to harass people because of this and to equate who you ship with who you are. It's like saying that just because my favorite character murders people I would love to join him in a killing spree. Or since I like a series that involves illegal themes, then I already broke the law multiple times and can't wait to do it again. That's not how it works. 

So yes, I am aware that SebaCiel is pedophilia. It doesn't bother me because they do not exist. I ship it regardless.Pedophilia for me is nothing short of disgusting and wrong.                           These two facts can coexist.                                                                                  I can squeal during their slash fanservice and still care about Ciel, not wanting him to be abused anymore, and what's more important: love and protect real children from predators, rather than from silly giggles while I read a comic.
