🕯️
send me 🕯️to hear my character's inner thoughts about your character.
"One of the most peculiar creatures native to Runeterra itself, Xerath may well be the strongest being on this rock."
"His intelligence, magical experience and knowledge of beings greater than the common rabble render him quite entertaining."
"I can always appreciate someone who hates the confines of their fetters. Perhaps one day, with enough work, he'll shine bright enough to resemble one of my lesser dwarf stars."

↪ 𝑹𝑬𝑰𝑵𝑪𝑨𝑹𝑵𝑨𝑻𝑰𝑶𝑵 ; ᵀᴼ ᴮᴱ ᴿᴱᴮᴼᴿᴺ . ( a collection of lyric starters from ᵐᵉˡᵃᶰᶤᵉ ᵐᵃʳᵗᶤᶰᵉᶻ'ˢ 2023 album , 𝔭𝔬𝔯𝔱𝔞𝔩𝔰 . adjust phrasing as necessary . )
my body is dead , but i'm still alive .
your words mean nothing , so take them back .
you're always on my mind , i can't help it .
my mind wants to control me .
i fear i won't live to see the day tomorrow .
there is no other choice .
i hate who i was before .
lay all your burdens to rest .
you're no good at acting , it's obvious what you're after .
i know how to make you go crazy .
you are the light , i've been searching for forever .
i never once was treated right .
you make me feel like i'm on drugs .
i'm feeling too scared to sleep .
i'll wreck you if you chase me .
i'm done , i'm done .
why do you always act so serious ?
i don't give a fuck , 'cos i'm so strong .
you're messing with my cycle , that's dangerous .
be the manic pixie dream girl you fucking ought to be .
i won't lick your wounds today .
don't treat me that way .
i won't be ashamed for loving you .
i never knew what it meant , to be content with you .
if you bite my hand again , i will never feed you .
it took me way too long to put this to bed .
every time you tell a lie , i'm praying that you choke .
i won't be mistreated .
it's all a game now , but once i'm in the world it's lost .
i know what's coming .
all of the planning , yet i still feel unprepared .

"Valentines..."
The star dragon groaned. Could eyes roll more, they would roll out of his skull, and continue to roll out of sight, never to return.
"As if anything with a pulse is incapable of showing affection at any other day. Simply childish. Is there a more useless 'holiday' in this world?"

Before I lose this again, I wanted to post an image of the outfit I've imagined for Aurelion Sol's humanoid form.
Of course the color scheme matches his own, rather than this particular one. Dark blue to red/purple gradients on the outside, stars on the inside. Rather than horns he still wears his crown. His hair is the same as his dragon form.
It is far more convenient to present oneself in a form similar to those he speaks to, rather than as the star dragon all the time.

"Last we met I created a sun with a claw full of sand. The Targonians wish they could achieve such grandeur. No, they would rather enslave those talented to their whims. And you would compare me to those... barbarians?"
Disbelief sounded in Aurelion Sol's voice. In all his millennia roaming the endless cosmos, he had never encountered a claim like this. Seeing the glory of his form (even if humanoid) could not possibly be confused for the average Targonian, surely.
The very thought was proposterus. It seemed that Targon's keepers had spread its propaganda far and wide. Had the Aspects perhaps been showing the populace of Runeterra their truer forms? Allowing their vessels to sport a more fantastical appearance to boast their power? A celestial visage that may indeed compare to the dragon's splendour? Surely not. Surely not.
The star forger huffed, holding up one claw to let glowing star dust orbit around it.
"I am far more than anything that lives on that dreaded mountain" he said as a cold tone betrayed his disdain, "you spoke as though you realized that when we first met, battle mistress. Was I wrong to see such insight in you? Or perhaps you lack the knowledge to even make the distinction?"

OOC: Can someone explain the concept of 'making the new blog unfollow you'?
I tried to follow some blogs and they made me unfollow them. I don't know, did I do something wrong? It wasn't stated in their rules as far as I recall.
Or is this treatment normal for new blogs that have not established themselves yet? Is it how it is most of the time here?

Aurelion Sol yawned with the power and indecency of a thousand suns. Who would be able to stop him from being as loud as he desired? So long as he followed the Aspect's commands, there would be no punishment for him, so he could be as flamboyant as he desired.
Star dust escaped as he sighed, colouring the sky a faint pink and purple. Cosmic fragments shimmered before dissipating, allowing the star forger a brief reminder of what he missed. A moment of silence lingered before he rose to his feet.
This crown and the memories hurt too deeply to dwell on. Best to drown one's thoughts out with some well earned meddling. What better to meddle with than mortal affairs. There were so many, surely it would be nigh impossible for him to not find one who could offer him some entertainment.

The fart comment caught the cosmic being so off guard that he had to chuckle. Sett had more guts than millions of other lesser beings infesting the rock that was Runeterra. To speak so boldly to one such as he, it was a pleasant change of pace. There certainly was some respect to be found in that. Alongside a good laugh.
"You're right! I do like to entertain myself with trivial things like you mortals" he said, coiling around the air with a serpentine glee. "It's either that, or do nothing at all, unfortunately. It's why I'm here, after all. Entertaining myself with all your little mortal understandings. Why would money and material wealth play a role in my enjoyment?" The star dragon shifted to a halt, letting the moment breathe before speaking once more.
"So, if I have no interest in coin, fighting, or any such nonsense, why do you think that I am here? What would make someone such as yourself of interest to me? What makes you worth my time?" He held back finishing his own question. He would rather not compliment the man until it was deserved, but he hoped that Sett would at least catch the hint that it was his turn to promote his worth.
He then used one of his claws to brush at the celestial scales of his chest, shifting his focus from his fond teasing to that of a self-importance. "But before you answer, please, cease calling me 'god'. I would rather you call me 'dragon' than that... No, Aurelion Sol will suffice. That is, at least, something you lot can pronounce."
@settriigh (I hope it is okay to continue this)
Aurelion Sol chuckled. This mortal had gusto, as advertised on his posters. A perfect reflection of the fighting pits.
"A god?" the dragon hummed, a tremble disrupted the flow of his cosmic mane. What a wretched, mortal title to be used for him. Then again, how could a simple creature such as the Boss know any better. To anyone aside the Targonians, his visage had inspired utter awe for eons to those beneath the skies.
"I suppose you are not entirely incorrect" a low grumble accompanied the statement, "though perhaps you could be more creative. As for understanding of wealth, it might take a... smaller perspective to enlighten me. After all, what are such trivial things to one who brought all of it into existence?"
The looming celestial figure lowered further from above, a large clawed finger poked the emblem on Sett's coat. He showed no care for the reaction, or the personal space of the vastaya. "The same matter that you now use to 'beat each other senseless' once nestled in my claws as star dust. Your world, your entirety, birthed from the residue of my great work. The air you breathe, the earth you walk on, all of it."
For a flash, a deep coldness took hold of Aurelion Sol's eyes. What a headache.
"And you have, in the endless creativity bestowed upon you, found its only use to be for fighting? For entertainment?"
A silence fell as Aurelion Sol gazed upwards as if to behold the stars that weren't in sight, the thought that this would be result of one of his many, many works was a ponderous thought. Despite his belittlment, there was but a begrudging respect to one who knew himself so well that he could be happy with the the most basic of enrichment.

Aurelion Sol remained silent for moments, contemplating his own thoughts. As he felt the planet revolve beneath them, around the sun, his thoughts turned towards his the stars. Though his eyes were locked with the smaller dragon, a million thoughts were passing behind his eyes. Thoughts of days to come. Thoughts of dying stars. Thoughts of his own captivity. Thoughts on his eventual freedom. Thoughts on the passage of time and the fading of light. Thoughts on fear, and how it can control. He winced at that last one.
He turned his head towards Shyvana with the faintest glint of malice in his eyes.
"So you do not fall victim to complacency. You may have the protection of your human now, but one day you will not, and someone else will come to take you down. Lower your walls and they will be able to spot your weakness, take advantage of it. Or, worse still, abuse your foolish trust and turn you... into a tool."
Those last few words came out almost as a hiss, the claws clenched and shaking. None of the rage Aurelion Sol barely contained was aimed at Shyvana. Loyalty was commendable, but ignorance must never be tolerated.
"In your longevity, never take your safety for granted" he said, the anger in his voice fading though still tinted with disgust, "whether it lasts a decade or a century. The memory and view of those around you will inevitably change until they feel the need to put you in a place that they feel you belong. It is in your best interests to act first."
Stars rippled through his body, the shade of his scales notably becoming darker with his mood. He couldn't help but see the the image of his captors in his mind, and his hope for their oblivion. For now, just a foolish daydream. A punishment for his own ignorance. "Better to live a monster than die a fool. To this, I can attest."
The innocence of youth. What a wonderful and foolish thing to be able to believe in others.
"I see that you have chosen the path of most resistance in life, unlike any natural force in the universe" the astral creator said. He pointed on the possibility that perhaps a trait of terrestrial dragons was to be foolhardy, or maybe it was simply a quirk unique to this one. "Despite your foolishness, your courage to follow your path is something I am willing to reward, disastrous as it may end."
A clawed hand grazed Aurelion Sol's chest. The stars in his scales shimmered as ripples through water. "You may call me by the name the people of this world have deigned to; Aurelion Sol."
To help educate his lesser kin, he weaved within his claws a brilliant red star, and a smaller, white star beside it.
"Lovely as your belief in your one human friend is, they are one in a sea of thousands. Watch as they get crushed under the weight of such a sea, drowned out by fear and resent!" he almost came to a shout, the power behind his words fueled by frustration as he summoned forth more and more smaller white stars around the binary he previous created, until it was so awash with white that the original white star could no longer be recognized. A few seconds passed, then the smaller white stars began to dim, and then fade, one by one.
"Or… watch… as you outlive them." The pauses were for emphasis for as the sentence finished, only two stars remained. The red, and the white. And then, but a moment later, there was just one.
Outlive that which you love, there is no greater punishment. A lesson he knew well, for each time Aurelion Sol created one of his suns, he knew that such would be the inevitable end. And each sun, he filled with the same love he had when he created the very first one. Under enslavement, he couldn't even provide for the stars he had forged, watching mournful as each one dimmed faster than was neccessary over the eons.
"Either way, whoever you will meet in your lifetime, be it friend or foe, will die. Forced by your hand, or simply the passage of time. To live alone is the fate of those who are long lived."
