Y'all. Dick is not a people pleaser. Idk where that came from when reading Dick's comics is basically an exercise in watching his eyes glaze over as someone begs him not to do something crazy because in his mind he's already done it. Like, yes, Dick is very empathetic loves helping others but in the same way your dentist does. If they think it's the right move they're going to stick that long ass needle in your gums and drill into your teeth. Whether or not your happy about it is irrelevant.

9 times out of 10 dick has good reasons to yell at bruce but nothing is funnier to me than the times when bruce has actually done fuck all but dick freaks out on him anyways and his internal monologue is just “he doesn’t trust me. he thinks i’m a failure. he hates me and wants me to die. he’s everything to me. i wish i never met him. he’s my batman and i’m his robin but those days are over.” ok man let’s calm down.

The thing is that you CAN have Dick and Bruce be demonstrative and openly affectionate and have it be in character, the test is whether what they're saying or doing sounds like something normal people say or do. If yes then it's out of character. They have to be weird and intense. They need two paragraphs and a grand dramatic gesture to communicate what a normal person would get across in a sentence or less. If it sounds like something directly of a Greek epic you're on the right track.

I fell down a YouTube rabbit hole and watched some videos about people who pretended to be Anastasia and it got me thinking.... Idk if this has been written before, but!

Batfam AU where Jason legally comes back from the dead but literally the whole world thinks he is a con artist pretending to be Bruce Wayne's dead son for money. Lots of reporters have tried to disprove his claim but no evidence will convince Bruce and the media thinks Bruce is too deep in his mourning/ too stupid to realize the truth. I mean come on, his eyes are green, a completely different color from the real Jason!

Jason is having the time of his life. This is the greatest prank of all time. He absolutely leans into it because it is a good cover but also because it is hilarious.

All of her outfits and accessories are taken more or less directly from her many very stylish preboot outfits!

There are 5 outfits which when assembled will open 5 mini-games corresponding to that era/moment in her life. Winning a mini-game will add a new decoration to her room!

Besides that, there are tons of other cute wardrobe items you might want to mix and match, just for fun!

This is my first like big coding project so it might be a little janky (def having audio problems, unfortunately, you might be better off muting your volume) but I worked rly hard on it and hope people enjoy it!

the way Bruce is his best friend because they play together, all of those cases they solve might as well be sudoku's in the morning, the blood tests n antidotes and learning how to disinfect a wound might as well be science experiments, sparring and exercise, Dick saw it all as playing not as work. And that's why he is a workaholic in his adulthood the line between work or play and downtime is so blurry for him. That's why his arc during v2 is so heartbreaking we're seeing the destruction of all his loved ones and of the way he plays too 😔✋🏼
