Working for Bungie was what I wanted since middle school and I still look up to you maybe you will see what I'm writing when you feel up to giving me a chance to explain, I'm new at this. I know you're destined for something better maybe your own game as an Indie Dev. I'm so dumb at reconnecting. I was going to college for business and dropped out due to learning disabilities, I'm completely blank when it comes to language arts. I miss you and Olivia dearly. I hate being older and a broken pharmacy robot. Getting yelled at by the state for a whole hour for not using my pharmacy license under Trumps first term, I'm still haunted by that day. If you need the lunch money back you're more than welcome to it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope you get the joke on when I met you. The first picture is me as a girl.

I remember the exact moment I met you when you showed up at the end of my register, I immediately thought "She looks like my sister" and got excited. A few days later you cried over what happened that day "It was bad, I wanted to quit!!!" I calmed you down, we may not be blood relatives but I've always seen you as one. I've been crying ever since you and Olivia left, both of you were my best work friends and made me feel as if we all went to high-school together.

Getting let go for having Asperger's years ago, getting yelled at by the state for it under Obama. Getting yelled at by them even more under Trump. Being forced to due COVID testing or getting laid off, I'm immunocompromised.

when abled people talk about employability + disability I don't think they entirely understand the domino effect of unemployment/underemployment that can happen in a disabled person's life

the kinds of jobs that are considered 'unskilled' or 'entry level' are inaccessible for various reasons (e.g. involve having to stand up for long periods of time)

the time in your life when many people are expected to start working these entry level jobs is while you're still in school. the sheer exhaustion of school means that even when those jobs aren't completely inaccessible, many disabled people simply do not have the energy to do them

without any work experience, it's very hard to get work. the kinds of jobs that tend to have more accessible workplaces are either not entry-level or require a certain level of education to enter them. also without having gone through a hiring process before, it's very hard to even know what to expect from a job, which only creates additional barriers

even if you do have work experience, being disabled is not really taken as a valid reason to have gaps in your resume, which means you immediately look like a suspicious/risky hire to a HR department

disabled people, once we do have jobs, are more likely to be underemployed than abled people, meaning that we have fewer opportunities to demonstrate our skills in the workplace, and are less likely to be able to accumulate a back catalogue of good references to take with us in the 'getting a new job' mission. this itself keeps us underemployed

NOT to mention the fact that the exact same process can happen with respect to education (the being in special ed -> being able to go to university pipeline is basically non-existent. and if it is there, it is very hard to navigate). I'm not sure yet another 'employable skills program' can get us out of this one, chief

I thought I saw her on register but at my company. I worry about her. She's all alone in her apartment worrying about getting laid off. In my mind she's my long lost sister.

I find it very offensive that the more unwell you are, the more things you have to do to maintain your health. Things like following special diets, going to medical appointments, making big and important decisions about what treatments to use. At the same time, the more unwell you are the less energy you have to do all of these extra things. It seems grossly unfair.

13 years as a library volunteer during the book sale. Collecting form January to March. Worked during storms. I started when I was a kid. I miss those days.

Happened at my old job. Wearing similar clothing to a Aries shift lead. We always finished each other's sentences. I wish we were the same age. Now I have a Taurus who's gothy when she complains.

If either of you see this I'm still crying for both of you all these years later, I hate being older. That's me as a girl wearing my old cashier outfit. Olivia and Laura I wish we could hang out again. Laura I'm really dumb at this just like when I was on register and fell in love with Olivia wearing a pink zip up hoodie. I want to apologize and buy you something. You have my middle-school dream-job. I still look up to you academically and have been buying Destiny 2 DLC over $200 so far!!! I wish the three of us were together again. Both of you mean a lot to me. I remember when I was working overtime the day before a blizzard just to get a regular register, that's how I met you Laura you were bagging for me and you were nervous. I thought "she looks like my sister" turns out academically you are, working for Bungie was what I wanted a long time ago, but had to drop out of College due to learning disabilities. Olivia we had that conversation about returns and you mentioned Walgreens, that's where I ended up. I really feel dumb at this not getting closure.

I miss the game developer and actress from my old job. I'm still crying for both of them. I tried reaching out to one of them and I forgot to reintroduce myself. I feel so broken because it's my first time reaching out to someone. Laura and Olivia if you see this it's Chris from your supermarket days, I wore a blue zip up hoodie, khakis and blue shoes back then. I'm tall have black hair,wear glasses, and thought Laura was my sister because we look similar. I'm an emotionally dead Pisces who misses his Aries work wife and same sign work sister. I feel like a broken robot missing my coder and the actress. As long as Bungie keeps making Destiny 2 DLC I’ll keep buying it, I like the game Laura and still look up to you academically because you have my middle school dream job. I wish I didn’t have learning disabilities so I could have gone to college for Game Design. You both were my best friends on register.
