Ver. 0.4.00

Rhaskavilles capital name changed from "Chreskrerveia" to "Czevoia" because one, it's shorter and two, try to say the old name three times fast.

Iannis capital name changed from "Novam" to "Novan" because it sounds nicer imo

Started on core rule book

The ttrpg system now has an actual title instead of a wip one. It's called "Startrails"

Core rule book now has a content outline (currently 9 planned chapters an oh boy, it's gonna be probably more than 500 pages)

Named languages so that it's not just "common" anymore (currently 20 bigger languages)

Started on character creator book (cause there is no way that's gonna fit into the regular rule book as well, and I'm definitely gonna make a character creation tool as well, just because it could be kinda complicated for new players)

Minor species and concuration cost changes

With the project now being on version 0.4 and actually coming together somewhat, it also has an official name now!

While I did like Varitreya (which is still the name of the planet by the way), I felt like that name was lacking as the title of a ttrpg system.

The name Startrails was inspired by a Derivakat song with the same name. I've been listening to that one (and Fall) a lot lately and the vibe of these two songs fits the setting very well imo. It also ties in well with a Varitreyan saying, where chasing star trails is seen as trying to achieve something that is either impossible, or no longer possible.

Idk, I thought it would fit quite well. I also think something looking similar to star trails over the planet of Varitreya would make for a banger book cover, so that's nice as well.

I'm really not good with social media, but I came to tumblr since some of my friends (including ozzy above this post) said they might leave twitter to come here and I didn't wanna lose them cause they cool.

Now I post slightly less here than on twitter, but you guys get more ttrpg Content because i can actually make long posts here, so I guess that's cool. Also all the animal hrt guys are cool, so that's another reason to stick around.

The next attack took me 22.5 hours, but Eonova really liked it, so it was 100% worth.

This one is sort of a pallette cleanser from the big artfight piece,which is now 13 hours on the clock and around 60% done I'd say.

This is Friends character Val doing a thirst trap, which is particularly funny, because Val, Friend and I are all Aroace. So this is very silly :3

Hello tumblr creatures and critters, I have decided that I should probably share more stuff on here, so you will going forward get all the information of my worldbuilding setting and ttrpg system building thrown at you!

They may be very random and have no context, or even with context not make much sense, but that is not my problem! Maybe I'll figure out how to make one of those cool master posts that sometimes float around here to organise stuff better...

Anyways, here are the latest two patch notes and the ones I finished like half an hour ago! (Yes I am making patch notes for something that would more likely need a change log since we're not actually patching anything, but patch notes sounds better. added throwing the dead off of cliffs as proper funeral for Umbra

Ateruns main islands changed names from "Yokihiro", "Sashiro", "Nanako", "Himinka" and "Tomohoru" to "Halcyon", "Boreal", "Morgana", "Anemoly" and "Epestol" for name conformaty issues

Added the first set of rules for concuration (this world's version of what media calls "magic")

Changed the physics behind concuration to align more with the current lore

Venus flytrap-esque plants are now also able to concurate, since they can apparently learn?! Which is crazy and fascinating?!

All right, that is all for now. Since there is actually a solid skeleton for the system now, the next "patch" will likely be the 0.4 one, unless I find something small that still needs changing before that, but yeah. Hope to be posting a lot more here soon!
