Would Anyone be Interested in a Remake of the Descendants Story

With the cast and new characters announcement for Descendants 5, my friend and I were discussing the inconsistencies between the books, movies, and show, as well as how lazy the naming of characters have gotten.

So, I was wondering is anyone here on Tumblr would enjoy reading a remake of the Disney's Descendants Story. It would include us doing out best to make less inconsistencies, better naming ideas, more flushed out stories on some other characters, including some of our favorite less mentioned characters from the books or show like CJ Hook and Freddie Facilier. We'd also work out a proper timeline as to when many events take place, such as when the original Villains committed their crimes that had them thrown onto the Isle.

We'd keep the main storyline of Mal and the other VKs, as well as Mal and Ben's love story as accurate as possible, while also sprinkling in some more details.

We want to keep it consistent with the original stories, and thus we will not include any OCs in the main storyline. If any OCs do get mentioned, they will be as mild Background characters.

Please let me know if this is something anyone would like to hear, and I'll do my best to upload my process throughout the writing to get your guy's feedback!

A Half-Drow Druid who was abandoned by her family and spent the first few years of her life in an orphanage in Baldur's Gate before running away into the wilds.

She is romancing Astarion!

Posting about my other characters today, here's an aesthetic for my half-siren OC Cora, and her lover, pirate captain Ryker! I'm still on the fence about posting about these 2 and their story (possibly gonna make a side blog for fantasy stuff?) but yeah. Cora's basically Millie from Helluva Boss (personality-wise) so there's a little bit for ya if you know the show 😅

And Cora's backstory would involve a few censors so that's why I'm on the fence about it heh...but she's my favorite and I wanna post about her 👉👈

I wanna say this surprises me, but most of my followers rn are Hogwarts Legacy people.

Emeri Swan Cassowary

~Emeri is a descendant of my Hogwarts Legacy character Alice Cassowary. Alice is her Great-Great-Grandmother. She had a good relationship with her Great-Great-Grandmother and named her first child Alice.

~Emeri was almost a hatstall. The Sorting Hat couldn’t choose between sorting her in Hufflepuff or Slytherin. It finally decided that Slytherin would challenge her best and sorted her into Slytherin.

~She is a half-blood Witch. Her mother, Andromeda, is mostly Pureblooded, and her father, David, is an American Muggle.

~Due to being half-blooded, Draco would often call her 'Half-a-Witch-Swan'

~Draco would also call her 'Weasley' since her hair is red.

~Funny enough, Emeri is paired with Fred Weasley.

~ Fred Weasley's fate was changed due to reasons for my Hogwarts Legacy character's story. He didn't die; instead, Percy Weasley died during the Battle of Hogwarts.

Wesley Everleigh

I don't have much on Wesley right now, but here's what I DO have

~Wesley, if not obvious, is a Hufflepuff

~He owns a cat named Angel

~He often forgets things, like Neville, so he has a Remembrall

~Big Foodie. Loves different foods, but is partial to Croissants.

~Like Emeri, Draco often calls him a Weasley since his hair, while Strawberry Blonde, is bordering on being ginger.

Osmodius Strickler

So, I actually have NO info on Osmodius aside from this;

~Osmodius is the descendant of my Hogwarts Legacy character Karen Heinous.

Madelyn Kingsleigh

~If not Obvious, Madelyn is a Ravenclaw.

~She is also paired with Draco.

~And she is a Muggleborn student.

Now let's move onto my Hogwarts Mystery OC

Edalyn Gwendolynn Dewey

~Edalyn is a Hufflepuff

~She is related to Emeri and Alice. She is Emeri's Second cousin and Alice's Great-Granddaughter

~Eda owns a pet Niffler named Rowan. Anyone who has played the game knows the meaning behind this.

Hogwarts Legacy Tumblr Community

Would anyone here be interested in my Hogwarts Legacy MC's story if I posted it here?

It would be mostly just the HL game through Alice's POV with a few filler chapters to learn more about her some, alongside a few dialog changes to fit the character better., as well as a few chapters about her past.

It will also include some mention of the main Harry Potter timeline, including a little bit of The Cursed Child (mostly just mentions of The Currsed Child characters like Albus and Scorpius.)
