To celebrate this blog reaching 600 followers, I'm holding a contest where you get to design a character that will appear in the comic!

I'm so SO SO grateful to each and every one of you for your interest in and enthusiasm for NimbusClan and thought this would be a fun way to include you in their world! The contest is open for absolutely anyone to enter.

Even if you're not interested in entering, please reblog so people who may be interested will see it!

WELCOME ALL to my 600 follower character design contest extravaganza! YOU, yes YOU will design a cat based on the specifications below and they may just end up in NimbusClan!

The character who will be joining NimbusClan is named Harerunner! For the purpose of the contest, you will be given his name and ClanGen sprite, so that you can use these details to design a character based off of them.

All you need to draw is Harerunner's adult design, but feel free to include younger versions if you'd like!

Harerunner is a ginger tabby with mid white spotting, green eyes, and medium length fur. Feel free to play around with his markings, give him bonus pelt colors, and anything else you feel like will make his design stand out!

The winner will be RANDOMIZED, so please feel confident entering regardless of your skill level or art style!

Contest Rules: ☁️Submissions must be your own, original work. No picrews, no base recolors - you have to be the one to draw it. ☁️This character cannot be an existing character from another comic or piece of media. ☁️By submitting, you agree that this design, once chosen, belongs to me and will be used in the comic henceforth. ☁️The submission can be a sketch, but it must be a fullbody, colored artwork of Harerunner's design. ☁️You don't need to be a follower to enter, but followers of mine will have their submission added to the randomizer twice for a higher chance of winning. ☁️To submit a design, please post it to your Tumblr with the hashtag #NimbusContest and @ me! ☁️If you don't have a Tumblr (how did you get here?) please submit it to my blog here. The winning design will be selected on August 28th, 7pm EST, unless I don't get any submissions by then 😅 The winning design will be officially drawn by yours truly and featured in the comic! New ref sheet sneak peek 👀

I am slowly working on making a new format of ref sheets for every adult cat in the clan! These will be posted after Moon 30 to give me some time to get every ref done. Here's part of what the new refs will look like! There's also a lot more text info that will be included on these, but this peek is all you'll get for now due to slight spoilers >:3 I am also working on building up a backlog to start posting pages again! The current plan is to aim for updates to resume August 24th, but the 31st is also possible. Life has been super busy for me but I am doing my best! <3
