I'm not the type of person to initiate these kinda posts, but oh god it is horrifying out here and I felt the need to broadcast this here as I haven't seen any coverage about it on this platform.

What's happening? Protests, riots, racially induced violence mobs for some reason???, and a fuckton of police violence.

28th of August, Police have tried to hold off the protests by the parliamentary building, resulting in various deaths and injuring of protesters AND innocent bystanders. The incident that became the peak of the night was a motorcycle taxi driver/food delivery driver crossing the road getting hit— no, run over by a fully armed brimob vehicle. The delivery driver, Affan Kurniawan, aged 21 years old then, unfortunately passed away from the incident. The news of this unjust death enraged the masses, so the action intensified immediately.

Recently, the president has given the police force the go ahead to open fire to shut down crowds. They're armed, and given the go ahead to shoot down... anyone, essentially.

Now I'm not the best at formatting this stuff, so let me just list all the bullshit that's taken place that I know of for reference

-Police shooting streetlights off in the middle of the night at Kwitang, followed by shooting at the people on said streets at the time

-the use of armed brimob vehicles to ram through crowds and "shut down" protests

-setting off tear gas bullets/bombs at protest sites and public transport stations

-unexplained shootings

-some of my friends' friends have reported policemen standing around with firearms on the ready by their schools and where they live

-attacking a whole university dormitory by a protest site???

-kidnappings of various university students on site/attending protests

-threatening and arresting a JOURNALIST who was broadcasting live from a protest site

There's most definitely more I cannot name at the top of my head

It's gotten so bad that some schools have set online class back in motion or just put their students on holiday where the danger zones are.

Oh yeah here's the fun part. National television is forbidden from broadcasting anything about the ongoing protests and police violence, live streaming functions on Tiktok and Instagram have been shut down, and there has been speculation about the government trying to block off the internet entirely. The media is being SILENCED while all this is unraveling, the only source of information we're getting being from first hand witnesses and footage from social media. Come on now they arrested a JOURNALIST who was LIVE . A journalist!!! Is that not Mental?

Please feel free to add onto these if you're more educated/have more insight to share. This is ridiculous. The violence isn't even about the protests anymore I'm afraid.

Ok. Hear me out. What if Ralsei was the one singing “Don’t forget”

From chapter 1 and 2 it was pretty obvious that objects from the light world were the darkeners as seen by Kris’ ball of stuff in their pocket being their items and their pencil being their sword. This is further and more direct explained in chapter 3 by Ralsei in the intro. These lyrics directly parallel that sentiment, albeit brief. The reason I think the lyrics were written with specifically Ralsei in mind, but not any other darkener, is because it just feels like him, or at least the general interpretation of him. It’s reassuring, gentle, and kind. I think we’re mostly in agreement when I say Ralsei is a good natured character. That being said, it makes sense why he wouldn’t want the listener to feel alone, likely being Kris or Susie(Im personally leaning more towards Susie just because of their interactions in chapter 3) People have probably already figured this out, I just wanted to put in my own thoughts.

Do tell me what you think :) (also I may be missing something given I’ve only played up to chapter 3 so far. Do forgive me if I left something out ;—;)

Edit: Okay, so I’m not quite sure, but I’m pretty sure in one of the lyrics for the singing mini game in chapter 3 there’s a whole section of Ralsei shown directly singing something along the lines of “Don’t Forget” I think it in was “Raise Your Bat” I’ll double check and get back to ya

Ok. Horror game idea. A horror game that takes place in a church, but has close to no themes about religion apart from whatever’s hunting you down or the player character just liking churches. Their general atmosphere. Hell, the main antagonist could literally just be some guy and it would still work.

Your eyes were slick with a static-like film, your head fuzzy with sensations, so much so that you could barely focus. Not that I was complaining. Honestly it was pretty endearing.

Safety is a woman you see in passing. You don’t speak to her, because she doesn’t speak to you. She won’t tell you her name or what she likes. But still, she’s always there. One day, you will meet her, and she will be the sweetest person you’ve ever met. Very protective, but would do anything to maintain herself. Anything. She would leave you behind in the blink of an eye to preserve her time. She would expect you to do the same. Her actions are driven by fear, but nobody needs to know. That defeats the purpose of it all. She will well up with regret, but was that not the point? To survive rather than live? Or to live in fear with no way back? Safety is a cruel force of nature, but you need it to survive. You have to find out how to live your own way.
